Description
Claims (11)
- 材料を保持し、外筒を通って延びる長手方向軸を有する外筒と、
前記外筒内で受入れ可能であり、ねじ部を有するプランジャと、
係合部材であって、前記外筒と同軸に配置され、前記プランジャの前記ねじ部と相補的なねじ山を有するねじ付き貫通孔を備え、かつ、該貫通孔から該係合部材の外面まで半径方向に延びるスロットを備えてC形を成す係合部材と、を備え、
前記係合部材は、第1の位置と第2の位置との間で可動であり、
前記貫通孔は、前記プランジャが該貫通孔を通って移動するときに、該プランジャと全面で接触する内面を備えており、
前記第1の位置では、係合部材は半径方向に拡張可能であり、前記プランジャは、該プランジャを軸方向に押すことによって係合部材を通って前進することができ、
前記第2の位置では、係合部材は半径方向に拡張するのを阻止され、プランジャは該係合部材に対して回転可能であって、該プランジャを回転させることによって該プランジャを前進させることができる、骨代替材料の送達用シリンジ。 - 前記貫通孔をその軸方向で見た際の該貫通孔の断面の大きさが可変である、請求項1に記載のシリンジ。
- 前記プランジャが遠位方向に押されるときに、第1の圧力下で前記材料が外筒から出され、前記プランジャが回転によって前進するときに、第2の圧力下で材料が外筒から出される、請求項1に記載のシリンジ。
- 前記プランジャが、その回転と共に前進するときに、所定量の材料が前記外筒から放出される、請求項1に記載のシリンジ。
- 材料を含むパッケージの一部を受けることにより、パッケージから前記外筒への材料の移送を容易にするように構成された結合部材をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシリンジ。
- 前記結合部材が、前記材料を前記外筒内に注ぎ込むための漏斗部材を備える請求項5に記載のシリンジ。
- 前記外筒に近位端で結合されたフィンガ・グリップをさらに備え、前記係合部材が前記フィンガ・グリップ内に収容される、請求項1に記載のシリンジ。
- 前記フィンガ・グリップが1対の半殻を備える、請求項7に記載のシリンジ。
- 前記係合部材が、前記フィンガ・グリップ内で、前記プランジャを軸方向に押すことによって前記プランジャを前進させることができる第1の位置と、前記プランジャを回転させることによって前記プランジャを前進させることができる第2の位置との間で可動である、請求項7に記載のシリンジ。
- 前記係合部材は、前記係合部材が前記第1の位置にあるときに前記フィンガ・グリップの内壁と接触する延長アームを含む、請求項9に記載のシリンジ。
- 前記係合部材は、該係合部材が前記第2の位置にあるときに、前記フィンガ・グリップの近位の内部で座部と係合することにより、該係合部材が拡張するのを阻止される、請求項9に記載のシリンジ。
