Description
The present invention relates to a container leakage inspection method and apparatus, and more particularly to a leakage inspection method and apparatus for safely detecting minute leakage in a short time using ozone gas.
In the manufacturing process and recycling process of containers such as drums and fuel tanks, a leak inspection for inspecting the airtightness of the containers is indispensable. Such a leak test is generally performed by a liquid immersion method or a soap method. In the liquid immersion method, gas is pressurized and sealed in a container, and the container is immersed in water and airtightness is inspected by air bubbles leaking from the gap between the containers. In the soap method, gas in a container is pressurized and sealed, soap water is applied to the surface of the container, and soap bubbles generated from the gaps in the container are inspected for airtightness.
However, such a liquid immersion method and a soap method have low defects because they require skill for inspection, and have a drawback that the container needs to be dried and cleaned after the inspection. In addition, when detecting leakage using odorous gas in ethylene or the like, the detection capability of the sensor is low, for example, it can be detected at a high concentration of about 10 ppm or more, so a large amount of odorous gas is required, In addition, there is a drawback that inspection requires a long time.
Therefore, the inventors of the present invention have created and filed a leak inspection system using ozone gas (
As shown in FIG. 5, “a container leak inspection method and leak inspection apparatus” of
And an ozone
The semiconductor gas sensor that detects ozone has high ozone sensitivity and can detect 10 to 250 ppb (0.01 to 0.25 ppm) of diluted ozone in a short time (around 1 second). In addition, ozone can be relatively easily produced by discharge or the like using air as a raw material using an ozone generator. Therefore, the leak inspection system using ozone gas is more reliable than conventional inspection methods (immersion method and soap method), can be inspected in a short time, and does not require special gas. have.
However, in the above-described leak inspection system, even when the container has the same through-hole, if even a small amount of oil or dirt adheres to the inner or outer surface, ozone reacts with the oil or dirt and decomposes, For example, the leakage inspection time may be 3 to 4 times longer than the usual several seconds.
In addition, when there is no oil or dirt attached, the above-described leak inspection system can perform the leak inspection itself after filling with ozone in a few seconds, but the preparation (filling with ozone) and post-treatment (exhaust of ozone) are 10 respectively. Since about 2 seconds are required, it takes 30 seconds or more to inspect one can. On the other hand, for example, since the production speed of drum cans is as high as 5 cans per minute (12 seconds or less / can), it has been desired to shorten the inspection time beyond the current level.
Moreover, since ozone gas has toxicity, if an operator inhales this, there exists a possibility of damaging health. Accordingly, there has been a strong demand for a system in which a worker is unlikely to inhale ozone in a leak inspection using ozone.
Furthermore, although ozone can be manufactured relatively easily using an ozone generator, if it is consumed in large quantities, the required power of the ozone generator becomes excessive and energy efficiency is greatly reduced. Therefore, there has been a demand for a system that can reduce the power required for generating ozone and increase the energy efficiency.
The present invention has been developed to meet these needs. That is, the object of the present invention is to perform a leak inspection in a short time even when oil or dirt is attached to the inner surface or outer surface of a container such as a drum can, and in a short time corresponding to the production speed of the container. Providing a container leakage inspection method and apparatus that can perform a leakage inspection, is highly safe with less risk of workers inhaling ozone, and can reduce the power required for generating ozone and increase energy efficiency. is there.
According to the present invention, an ozone cleaning process that decomposes oil or dirt adhering to the inner and outer surfaces of a test container using low-concentration ozone gas, and leakage of the test container using high-concentration ozone gas after the ozone cleaning process. And a leakage inspection step for inspecting the container.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, ozone sealing step A for sealing ozone gas in a test container, and the outside of the container sealed with ozone gas is kept airtight and the outside is decompressed to determine whether ozone gas leaks or not. It consists of a leak inspection process B to be inspected and an ozone recovery process C in which ozone gas is recovered from the inside of the container after the inspection and replaced with air, and the processes A, B, and C are sequentially performed and recovered in process C. Concentrated ozone gas is concentrated and reused in step A.
In ozone sealing process A, ozone gas is supplied into the test container while sucking air from the test container. In ozone recovery process C, air is sucked into the test container while sucking ozone gas from the test container. Supply.
Further, according to the present invention, the ozone cleaning device that decomposes oil or dirt adhering to the inner and outer surfaces of the test container using the low-concentration ozone gas, and the leak that inspects the leak of the test container using the high-concentration ozone gas. There is provided a container leakage inspection device including an inspection facility.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, an ozone gas generation facility that generates and stores ozone gas, an ozone sealing device that seals ozone gas in a test container, and an outer side that holds the outside of the container sealed with ozone gas hermetically A leak inspection device that inspects the presence or absence of ozone gas leakage by decompressing the ozone gas, and an ozone recovery device that recovers ozone gas from the inside of the container after the inspection and replaces it with air. Supply to equipment, concentrate and reuse.
The ozone gas generation facility includes a suction pump that sucks air, an ozone generator that generates ozone gas from the sucked air, and an ozone supply tank that pressurizes and stores the generated ozone gas.
The ozone sealing device includes an ozone supply line for supplying ozone gas from an ozone supply tank into a test container, an exhaust pump for sucking air from the test container, and neutralization for neutralizing and discharging the sucked air. A processor,
The leak inspection device is a vacuum chamber for storing the container filled with ozone gas, a vacuum pump for decompressing the chamber, an ozone sensor for detecting the ozone concentration in the chamber, and supplying air into the chamber. An air supply device for returning pressure,
The ozone recovery device has an ozone recovery line for sucking ozone gas from the container, and the ozone recovery line is connected to a suction port of the suction pump.
According to the above-described method and apparatus of the present invention, an oil component that has an ozone cleaning device and a leak inspection facility and adheres to the inner and outer surfaces of a test container using low-concentration ozone gas in the ozone cleaning step before the leak inspection step. Or, since dirt is decomposed, even if oil or dirt adheres to the inner surface or outer surface of a container such as a drum can, ozone reacts with them and decomposes in advance. As in the case where no adhesion occurs, the leak inspection can be performed in a short time.
In addition, according to the method and apparatus of the present invention, since the processes A, B, and C are sequentially performed, the inspection can be performed in each process in a short time, and a short time (corresponding to the production speed of the drum can ( For example, the leak inspection can be performed in about 10 seconds per can). In other words, the process can be divided into A, B, and C processes suitable for the line, and a necessary process (for example, an inspection process) is provided in parallel as necessary to achieve a balance and enable high-speed processing.
In addition, in the leak inspection process B, the outside of the container is kept airtight and the outside is decompressed to check for ozone gas leakage, so even if there is a leak in the container, leakage from the decompression section to the outside is completely prevented. can do.
Furthermore, because ozone gas is supplied into the test container while sucking air from the test container, and air is supplied into the test container while sucking ozone gas from the test container, the operator may inhale ozone. There is little, and safety can be improved.
Further, since ozone gas is collected, concentrated, and reused, the power required for generating ozone can be reduced and the energy efficiency can be increased. In other words, once used ozone gas is recovered, only ozone that has been reduced by ozone decomposition is supplemented through an ozone generator, pumped to an ozone supply tank, and this ozone is used as a detection gas for a new specimen (test container). Use efficiency can be increased.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In each figure, common portions are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description is omitted.

In the ozone recovery process C, ozone gas is recovered from the in-
According to the above-described method and apparatus of the present invention, the processes A, B, and C are sequentially performed, so that inspection can be performed in each process in a short time, and a short time (corresponding to the production speed of the drum can ( For example, the leak inspection can be performed in about 10 seconds per can).
FIG. 3 is a test result of a new can according to the present invention. This example is a comparison of ozone detection characteristics with and without ozone cleaning using a freshly manufactured new can having a fine through hole with a diameter of 100 μm. In this figure, the horizontal axis represents the inspection time (sec), and the vertical axis represents the detected output (v) of the ozone sensor. The output of the ozone sensor has a detection limit of 0.05V.
From this example, by performing the ozone cleaning step S1 before the leak inspection step S2, the elapsed time until reaching the detection limit (0.05 V) is changed from about 280 seconds without ozone cleaning to about ozone with ozone cleaning. It can be seen that it can be shortened to about 1/6 or less in 40 seconds.
FIG. 4 is a test result of the oil-attached can according to the present invention. In this example, an ozone adhering can having a fine through hole having a diameter of 100 μm is used, and the ozone detection characteristics are compared between the case where the oil is completely washed with a solvent and the presence or absence of ozone cleaning. In this figure, the horizontal axis represents the inspection time (sec), and the vertical axis represents the detected output (v) of the ozone sensor. The output of the ozone sensor has a detection limit of 0.05V.
From this example, by performing the ozone cleaning step S1 before the leak inspection step S2, the elapsed time until the detection limit (0.05V) is reached, even in the case of an oil-attached can, cannot be detected without ozone cleaning ( From about 370 seconds), it can be seen that the time can be shortened to about 100 seconds with ozone cleaning. Although the detection time is slightly longer even with ozone cleaning compared to the case of complete cleaning with a solvent, cleaning with a solvent is time consuming and expensive and may cause ignition, etc. This is preferable.
In addition, since the adhesion amount of the oil used in the test is unmeasured, it is a trace amount. Therefore, depending on the adhesion amount of the oil, it is necessary to use cleaning with a solvent.
In addition, this invention is not limited to embodiment mentioned above, Of course, it can change variously in the range which does not deviate from the summary of this invention. For example, the above-described leak inspection facility can be used alone without being used together with the ozone cleaning device.
