Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an indoor unit of a so-called ceiling-embedded air conditioner equipped with a negative ion generator.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When air-conditioning a wide space such as a store as an indoor unit of an air conditioner, it is possible to blow out air that has been heat-exchanged uniformly over a very wide range from the ceiling surface rather than the so-called wall-mounted type that is attached to the wall surface. There is a tendency to frequently use indoor units that are embedded in the ceiling that can be occupied by the occupants and are less susceptible to pressure.
[0003]
On the other hand, although it is a wall-hanging indoor unit, as disclosed in [Patent Publication 1], a negative ion generator is incorporated in the blowing air passage. By providing this type of device, negative ions can be supplied directly into the room or with heat-exchanged air.
[0004]
[Patent Publication 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-74266 (refer to claim 1, FIGS. 1 to 5)
When the room has a negative ion atmosphere, the human body absorbs negative ions. It is known that absorption of negative ions activates human body tissue, promotes waste discharge, improves metabolism, and promotes health.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in an actual apparatus, the negative ion generator is attached to the air passage, particularly at the outlet, so that negative ions can be efficiently supplied into the room. In a wall-mounted indoor unit, since the outlet is provided in the indoor unit main body, the negative ion generator can be attached relatively easily.
[0006]
On the other hand, the ceiling-embedded indoor unit includes an indoor unit body that houses a heat exchanger, a blower, and the like, and a decorative panel that is provided with a suction port and a blowout port. A panel is installed.
[0007]
The decorative panel is configured as a separate component from the indoor unit main body, and is configured to be attached by being joined so as to cover the lower surface opening of the indoor unit main body installed on the back of the ceiling from the lower surface.
[0008]
For this reason, when a negative ion generator that requires a high-voltage power supply is attached to the decorative panel, it is necessary to wire-connect to the indoor unit main body side where the power supply box is provided. When attaching and detaching the decorative panel during maintenance work, it is necessary to attach and detach the wiring, which causes problems in terms of safety and functionality.
[0009]
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above circumstances, and the object of the present invention is to safely and functionally attach a negative ion generator to a ceiling-embedded indoor unit to ensure the supply of negative ions. It is an object of the present invention to provide an air conditioner indoor unit that can be obtained.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems and achieve the object, an indoor unit of an air conditioner according to the present invention is provided with an indoor unit body provided on the lower surface with a suction part and a blow-off part separated from each other, attached to the ceiling of the air-conditioned room. A heat exchanger disposed in the main body facing the suction portion, a fan disposed in the lower portion of the heat exchanger facing the drain pan and the blowout portion, and a blower including a casing surrounding the fan, and a suction portion; A decorative panel equipped with a suction port and a blower port respectively communicating with the blowout part is attached to the lower surface of the indoor unit body to be exposed to the room, and the room air sucked from the suction port as the blower is operated is heated through the suction part. It leads to the exchanger to exchange heat, and forms a blower passage that blows out from the blowout opening to the room through the blower and the blowout part.
The blowout part is composed of a combination of the outer wall surface of the drain pan and the opening end of the casing constituting the blower, and the blowout port of the decorative panel is a substantially vertical wall surface connected to the outer wall surface of the drain pan and the opening of the blower casing. A generating electrode portion of a negative ion generator comprising a wall surface formed in a curved shape in the direction of the edge of the decorative panel connected to the end portion, and supplying negative ions into the room through the outlet to the blower casing constituting the outlet portion. Installation,
The negative ion generator comprises a generating electrode part and a power supply part electrically connected to the generating electrode part, and the power supply part is arranged at a site off the blower path near the blowout part,
The generating electrode part is composed of a negative ion generating electrode and an electrode cover that supports the negative ion generating electrode,
The electrode cover is integrally provided with a part that is partly attached to the blower end face of the blower casing and a part that protrudes into the blower passage of the blower part and supports the negative ion generation electrode.
A plurality of small holes are provided at predetermined intervals along the width direction in the air passage extending portion of the electrode cover to form an auxiliary air passage through which a part of the heat-exchanged air guided to the air passage flows .
[0011]
By adopting means for solving such a problem, the negative ion generator can be easily mounted and the supply of negative ions can be reliably obtained while being embedded in the ceiling.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
