従来、モータ制御装置において確率密度関数を用いて異常発生を診断する例として、同じく出願人が先に出願した特願2001−257065号の発明が挙げられる。前記先行発明のモータ制御装置は、モータ位置を入力し、目標とする位置指令に前記モータ位置が一致するよう位置制御及び速度制御を行い、トルク指令を出力する位置・速度制御部と、前記トルク指令を入力し、モータへ電流指令を出力する電流制御部と、前記電流指令により駆動されるモータと、モータ位置を検出するモータ位置検出器と、を備え、かつ前記トルク指令を入力し、前記トルク指令の確率密度関数を演算する確率密度演算部を備えたものである。
図5は、先行発明を適用するモータ制御装置のブロック図である。
図5において、11は位置・速度制御部であり、位置検出器14で検出されたモータ位置Pfbを入力し、目標位置と位置Pfbが一致するよう位置制御及び速度制御を行いトルク指令Trefを電流制御部へ出力する。
12は電流制御であり、トルク指令Trefを入力してこれに応じた電流を出力してモータ13を駆動する。
15は確率密度関数演算部であり、前記トルク指令Trefを入力し、トルク指令の確率密度関数の標準偏差σ(Tref)を算出する。

請求項2記載のモータ制御装置は、請求項1記載のモータ制御装置において、前記確率密度演算部が、前記確率密度関数が正常な状態か否か監視し、正常でない場合には警報を発することを特徴とする。
請求項3記載のモータ制御装置は、請求項1又は2記載のモータ制御装置において、前記確率密度演算部が、前記確率密度関数が一定の分布範囲から外れた場合に正常でないと判断することを特徴とする。
請求項4記載のモータ制御装置は、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載のモータ制御装置において、前記確率密度演算部が、前記確率密度関数が正常な状態か否かの判断を、前記確率密度関数の標準偏差に閾値を設けて行うことを特徴とする。
以上のように、本発明に係るモータ制御装置によれば、検出したモータ位置の情報を元に演算した確率密度分布の標準偏差に閾値を設けて異常を診断するので、異常に対して制御装置が補償トルクを発生しない場合にも、例えば一時的なノイズなどによる誤検出が少ない異常診断を行うことができる。
