Description
本発明の他の形態の、患者のルーメン内配置されその中で互いに結合する少なくとも第1と第2の部材を有する2部品ステントグラフトプロテーゼ組み立て体において、前記一方の部材は、前記ルーメン内に最初に配置され拡張され、前記一方の部材は、ステントグラフトプロテーゼの内側表面に1つあるいは複数のステントを具備した第1端部を有し、前記他方の部材は、前記ルーメン内にその後に配置され拡張され、前記第1端部内に配置される第2端部を有し、前記第2端部は、その内側表面に1つあるいは複数のステントを具備するグラフト部分を有し、前記第1端部及び第2端部が、互いに係合したときに、係合部分の間にステントが存在しないような円筒状領域が存在する。
本発明の一実施例においては、合成プロテーゼは、腹部大動脈あるいは腸骨動脈の瘤を治療するために、その血管の瘤部分を動脈の血液の流れと圧力から切り離すことにより治療するためのものである。本発明の合成プロテーゼは、複数の部品からなる装置で、装置の全長を「トロンボーン方式」で変化させることを外科医ができるような症例で用いられる。あるいはネックの角度の増加が必要とされるようなアプリケーションで用いられる。本発明の装置は、外科手術により大腿動脈内に挿入され、この装置が脈管内貫通技術を用いて剛性のあるワイヤガイドを通して所望の場所まで進められる。脈管内のグラフトの長さと直径の広い範囲が、個々の患者に対するために外科医に提供される。

Claims (8)
- ルーメン内に留置される合成プロテーゼにおいて、
前記プロテーゼは、一体に接続されて合成プロテーゼを形成する、第1管状プロテーゼ部分と第2管状プロテーゼ部分とを少なくとも有し、
前記各プロテーゼ部分は、各部分の長さ方向に沿ってその外側表面上に複数の自己拡張ステントと、各部分の各端部のその内側表面に少なくとも一個の自己拡張ステントとを有し、
前記各プロテーゼ部分の接続端は、少なくとも二個のステントがオーバーラップする状態で、他のプロテーゼ部分の接続端に係合し、
接続された時は、係合部分の間にはステントが存在しない管状領域が存在し、これにより、プロテーゼ部分間にシールを提供する
ことを特徴とする合成プロテーゼ。 - 前記各接続端は、同一の外径を有し、
使用中は、第1管状プロテーゼ部分の接続端は、第2管状プロテーゼ部分の接続端の内側又は外側のいずれかに留置される
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の合成プロテーゼ。 - 前記第2プロテーゼ部分は、大動脈から腸骨動脈へ移行する(aorta-uni-iliac)プロテーゼである
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の合成プロテーゼ。 - 前記第2プロテーゼ部分は、本体部分と本体部分からのびる2本のレグ部分とを有する分岐グラフトである
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の合成プロテーゼ。 - 分岐した第2プロテーゼ部分は、短尺レグと長尺レグとを有し
自己拡張ステントが、前記短尺レグの外側と前記長尺レグの遠位端の内側に配備される
ことを特徴とする請求項4記載の合成プロテーゼ。 - 前記分岐した第2プロテーゼ部分の長尺レグ又は短尺レグのいずれか内に留置される少なくとも一個のレグプロテーゼ部分を更に有する
ことを特徴とする請求項5記載の合成プロテーゼ。 - 前記第1プロテーゼ部分は、第1プロテーゼ部分をその場所に保持するために留置された時、ルーメンの壁に当たって係合する「かえし」を含む近位端に伸びる自己拡張ステントを具備する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の合成プロテーゼ。 - 前記ステントは、ニチノール製又はステンレス製のジグザグZステントである
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の合成プロテーゼ。
