BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the slitter apparatus for cutting the sheet in the width direction, the four basic elements of the cut, that is, the wrap amount, contact pressure, toe-in angle, and offset are digitized to achieve high accuracy of the slitter apparatus and handling. It relates to increasing ease.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, these four elements have been adjusted exclusively by the operator's visual inspection and intuition as described below.
(1) Lapping amount The wrapping amount of the two round blades has been adjusted depending on the intuition obtained by viewing from the lateral direction. As a practical matter, it is extremely difficult to measure the lap amount with a caliper or a micrometer.
(2) Contact pressure In general, the contact pressure is adjusted by turning the knife directly by hand and determining the rotational resistance felt by the fingertip.
[0003]
Further, for example, in a slitter knife contact pressure automatic control device as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 57-55035 (utility model registration No. 1504453), a numerical method using a strain gauge has recently been adopted. However, there was a disturbance of disturbance factors because an excessive amplification factor was required, frequent zero correction was required, and eventually it was necessary to rely on intuition because of its annoyance.
(3) Toe-in angle The toe-in angle is not only dependent on intuition, but conventionally it is appropriate to visually compare the cut sheet that was cut by inserting the test sheet from the sheet entry direction and the cut line that was cut by inserting it from the opposite direction. In addition to empirically determining the correct toe-in angle, it was far from numerical.
(4) A method of measuring the difference between the center lines perpendicular to the sheet surfaces of the offset upper and lower blades by visual observation or adjusting while looking at the state of the cut edge while actually cutting.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As mentioned above, the adjustment of the four elements that govern the cutting of shear-cut slitters using up and down rotating round blades relies exclusively on experience and intuition, so individual differences are significant, and each slitting material is delicate. Therefore, the above four elements have been converted into numerical values to eliminate individual differences and to establish subtle adjustment reproducibility.
[0006]
In particular, with the advent of various new materials in recent years, the demand for quantification has become stronger, and an object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and a method that can meet such a demand.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, in a slitter device using two rotating round blades, at least one of a lap amount, a contact pressure, a toe-in angle, and an offset amount between the round blades can be numerically displayed. A featured slitter device is provided.
[0008]
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the slitter device includes a linear absolute position detector that measures a distance from a predetermined position of the main body attachment portion of the knife holder to a predetermined position of the header portion to which the knife is attached, And a knife diameter indicator for converting and displaying the measurement distance instruction signal from the linear absolute position detector into a knife diameter for which an optimum lap amount is selected at the distance.
[0009]
According to another embodiment of the present invention, the slitter device applies a contact pressure sensor comprising a strain gauge attached to a rod or plate supporting the knife, and a signal from the contact pressure sensor to the knife blade edge. A contact pressure indicator that converts the contact pressure into a numerical value and displays it.
[0010]
According to still another embodiment of the present invention, the slitter device includes zero-point automatic correction means for automatically correcting the zero point of the contact pressure sensor in response to a knife attachment / detachment signal.
[0011]
According to still another embodiment of the present invention, the contact pressure indicator is in a state where the upper and lower knives are worn and a thickness gauge having a constant thickness is inserted by a certain amount from the entrance direction and the counter-entry direction of the seat. The toe-in angle is indicated by displaying the pressure difference in grams.
[0012]
According to still another embodiment of the present invention, the slitter device is a scale provided on a bracket to which a knife holder is attached and quantifies and displays a shift amount based on a center line perpendicular to the upper and lower blade sheets as an offset amount. Is provided.
[0013]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, based on an accompanying drawing, the present invention is explained in detail about an embodiment and an example of the present invention.
[0014]
In order to achieve the above-described quantification of the four elements, the solution means and the embodiment thereof will be described below for each element.
(1) Digitization of wrap amount The shape of the blade of the rotary round blade shear-cut slitter device includes a vertical blade and a countersunk blade. Although the outer diameter of the scissors-type blade does not change by polishing, the dish-shaped blade changes. Therefore, when exchanging the plate-shaped blade, the position of the knife head must be adjusted according to the knife diameter so as to keep the amount of biting of the blade edge, that is, the amount of lap with respect to the sheet surface constant. As a method, if the distance from the specific position of the knife holder to the specific position of the knife head is measured with a linear absolute position detection device and the distance is replaced and displayed as the knife diameter, it will be replaced in advance when replacing the knife. If the outer diameter of the knife to be measured is measured and the position of the head is moved so that the display becomes the diameter, the lap amount after replacement can be automatically kept constant. This eliminates the need for complicated adjustment after replacement, and enables replacement to be performed quickly and accurately.
[0015]
Next, an example of the upper blade holder of the slitter apparatus incorporating the concept of quantifying the lap amount will be described.
[0016]
FIG. 1 is a schematic elevation view showing an upper blade holder of a slitter device as one embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1, the upper blade holder includes a

(2) Quantification of contact pressure As for the quantification of contact pressure, in the above-mentioned “Slitter knife contact pressure automatic control device” disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 57-55035 (utility model registration No. 1504453), However, due to the necessity of placing importance on the rigidity of the holder itself, it is compelled to use a strain amount of about 10 -6 against a strain amount of about 10 -3 of a generally used strain gauge. There is a need to make the amplification factor extremely high, it is extremely susceptible to environmental effects such as temperature, and changes over time in a short time cannot be ignored. Therefore, frequent zero point correction is required, which is complicated at the site of use. As a result, reliability has been lost, and in many cases, the adjustment has returned to intuition. In many cases, improving reliability is a major premise for quantification.
[0019]
As a countermeasure, a method of automatically performing zero point correction every time the knife is detached and attached, which is relatively complicated in work, is adopted. Next, an embodiment of the slitter apparatus of the present invention incorporating such automatic zero point correction will be described.

Moreover, other actuators may be used for attaching and detaching the knife. Furthermore, the knife attachment / detachment signal may be moved by a command from another control system, not by a manual operation such as an operator. The circuit configuration illustrated in FIG. 4 can also be realized by a combination of an A / D converter, a memory, and a logic circuit without using a CPU.
(3) Quantification of toe-in angle Generally, the toe-in angle is an extremely small angle of about 1/1000 to 5/1000. Therefore, there is a limit of the mechanical accuracy of the slitter knife holder, and the angle display is not reliable and it is impossible to measure the angle directly. According to the present invention, a thickness gauge having a constant thickness is inserted into the lap portion of the upper and lower knives from the upstream side and the downstream side of the seat run, and the difference in contact pressure at that time is read by the
[0027]
The method for digitizing the toe-in angle according to the present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to FIGS.
[0028]
FIG. 5 is a view for explaining the toe-in angle between the upper and lower knives important in the slitter device. FIG. 5A is a plan view showing the engaged state of the upper and lower blades. B) is an elevation view showing the engaged state of the upper and lower blades. As well shown in FIG. 5A, the toe-in angle is an angle formed by the

Furthermore, if this adjustment is performed at several points in the circumferential direction by rotating the knife and the average value is adopted as the numerical value of the toe-in angle, errors due to distortion of the knife itself can be absorbed.
[0031]
Since the above-described method for adjusting the toe-in angle according to the present invention requires a little skill, an embodiment of the present invention that can automatically adjust the toe-in angle will be described below.
[0032]
FIG. 7 is a partial elevation view schematically showing the configuration of such a toe-in angle automation device. As shown in FIG. 7, the toe-in angle automation device is configured to rotate between the

It should be noted that for the turning of the laterally moving piston portion, it is sufficient if the rotation amount can be grasped without using a motor. Further, the circumferential rotation of the knife may be moved manually. Furthermore, the raising / lowering of the knife, the rotation of the knife, the contact pressure adjustment of the upper and lower knives, etc. may be fully automated by a combination of NC devices. Moreover, you may use a worm reduction gear for the turning part of a lateral movement piston part.
(4) Digitizing the offset amount By attaching a scale scale to the bracket to which the slitter knife holder of the slitter apparatus is attached, moving the knife holder with a screw, and reading the scale, the offset amount can be digitized.
[0037]
In general, as shown in FIG. 8, the combination of a saddle type blade and a plate type blade is such that the sheet is introduced at the cut point on the inlet side of the sheet, that is, the point where the upper and lower blades contact for the first time. As shown in FIG. 9, the offset is set to zero for the combination of the pan and the dish.
[0038]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the basic four elements of the cut that have a significant influence on the cutting of the sheet material, that is, the wrap amount, contact pressure, toe-in angle and offset can be converted into numerical values and can be adjusted very easily. Higher accuracy of the slitter device can be easily achieved, and the ease of handling thereof can be improved.
