【従来の技術】
従来の墓石は、納骨の際、重い蓋石を開け閉めする労力が大変であった。従来の墓石を図１で説明すると、遺骨を収めるための納骨堂１０は箱形で上部が開口しており、その上に墓石本体１２と蓋石１４が置かれる。蓋石の上には、中央に香炉１６、その両側に花立１８が置かれる。墓石の周りには外柵２０が設けられる。

納骨するときは、香炉１６、花立１８および蓋石１４を退け、現れた口から納骨堂１０に骨壷を収める。香炉、花立および蓋石は、全部で250kgほどの重量があり、これを退けたり、元に戻すには多くの労力が必要であった。また、移動の際、これらの石に誤って傷をつけ易い。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この発明は、蓋石の構造を工夫して、納骨に要する労力を軽減すると共に、納骨の際、蓋石等に傷をつけないようにすることを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明では、墓石本体と共に納骨堂の上部開口を塞ぐ蓋石の後縁を切り欠いて納骨穴を形成し、蓋石の上に小蓋を載せ納骨穴を塞ぐようにする。こうすれば、納骨の際は、重い蓋石を動かす必要がなく、小蓋を退けるだけでよいので作業がごく容易になる。また、蓋石を動かさないので、これに傷を付けるおそれもない。

墓石の下台の裏面には、納骨穴と連なって奥の方に延びる切り欠きを形成するとよい。このように切り欠きを形成すると、納骨の際、下台が邪魔にならないので、作業がし易い。
蓋石の上に置く香炉は、小蓋を跨ぐように左右に脚を備えることが好ましい。こうすれば、納骨の際、香炉は蓋石の上に載せたままでよく、退ける必要がないので、いっそう作業が容易になる。

【発明の実施の形態】
この墓石は、図２に示すように、納骨堂１０の上に墓石本体１２および蓋石３４を載せるのは従来通りであるが、蓋石３４は、後縁中央を矩形に切り欠いて納骨穴３４ａを形成する。納骨穴の大きさは、左右240mm、前後200mmほどである。納骨穴３４ａを塞ぐために、蓋石３４の上に小蓋（石板）４０を載せる。蓋石３４と小蓋４０の隙間から雨水が浸入して納骨堂に入らないよう、小蓋４０の裏面には伸縮性のある材料（例えばゴム板）からなるパッキン４２を貼り付ける。

墓石本体１２の下台１２ａは、その下面前部に、納骨穴３４ａと連なる格好に切り欠き４４を形成する。

蓋石３４の上には、図３に示すように、香炉３６と花立３８を置く。香炉３６は左右に脚３６ａがあって、これで小蓋４０を跨ぐ格好になっている。

納骨の際は、香炉３６の下の小蓋４０を図３に鎖線で示すように手間にスライドする。こうすると、図４に示すように、蓋石の納骨穴３４ａから納骨堂１０が覗くので、香炉３６の脚の間から骨壷を納骨堂１０に収める。なお、下台１２ａの下面前部は、納骨穴３４ａに連なるよう切り欠き４４が形成されているので、蓋石の納骨穴３４ａが小さくても、骨壷を入れ易い。

このように、この墓石は、小蓋４０をずらすだけで納骨ができるので、作業は極めて簡単になる。なお、墓参の際、線香は、香炉３６の下、小蓋４０の上に皿を置いて、その上でたく。それ以外のときは、香炉３６の脚の間（小蓋４０の上）は、線香など小間物入れとして利用することができる。
