従来、端子金具を樹脂ランスで抜け止めするコネクタの一例として、図6及び図7に示すものが知られている。このものは、コネクタハウジング1内に端子金具2を挿入可能なキャビティ3が形成され、キャビティ3の底面に、端子金具2を抜け止めする樹脂ランス4が撓み変形可能に設けられている。端子金具2は雌側であって、相手の雄側端子金具のタブと接触する接触片を収容したほぼ箱形をなす本体部2Aを有しており、この本体部2Aの底板5に、ランス4に形成された突部6が嵌まるランス孔7が開口されている。

本発明は上記のような事情に基づいて完成されたものであって、その目的は、ランスによる係止力を高めるところにある。
