Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fixing clip for fixing a mounting part such as a door trim of an automobile to a panel.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As this type of conventional fixing clip, there is one shown in Japanese Utility Model Registration No. 2500287.
The conventional fixing clip is intended to fix a door trim having a boss portion on the back surface to a vehicle body panel having a mounting hole, and although not specifically shown, it is engaged with the mounting hole of the vehicle body panel. It has a leg part and a head part that houses a metal push nut. The leg part forms a pair of elastic shoulder parts on the outer periphery facing each other, and the head part defines a housing cavity that accommodates a push nut inside. In addition, the insertion hole of the boss part communicating with the storage cavity is formed.
[0003]
When actually fixing the door trim to the vehicle body panel, first obtain the state in which the push nut is stored from the entrance into the storage cavity of the head, and the leg of the fixing clip is attached to the vehicle body panel as it is. After engaging the hole, when the boss part of the door trim is inserted into the inner hole of the push nut from the insertion hole of the head, the claw formed on the inner hole edge of the push nut bites into the boss part of the door trim. The door trim is fixed to the vehicle body panel.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, the conventional fixing clip allows the door trim to be firmly fixed to the vehicle body panel side by biting the push nut against the boss portion of the door trim, but once the push nut bites into the boss portion of the door panel. If this happens, the fixing clip cannot be removed from the door trim side, so that it is impossible to replace the fixing clip even if the legs of the fixing clip are damaged. Therefore, if the fixing clip is forcibly pulled out from the boss portion, the boss portion will be scraped off by the push nut claw, and the boss portion itself cannot be reused.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention was developed in order to effectively solve the problems of the conventional fixing clip, and the invention according to claim 1 provides a mounting part having a boss portion on a panel having a mounting hole. A fixing clip for fixing, comprising a leg portion engaged with a mounting hole of the panel, and a head portion for storing a metal push nut, the head portion having a storage cavity for storing the push nut, The entrance of the storage cavity is set to be smaller than the outer diameter of the push nut, the inside of the storage cavity is set to be larger than the outer diameter of the push nut, and the push nut stored in the head is a boss of the mounting part. A configuration was adopted in which an opening was cut out from the inner hole into which the portion was inserted toward the outer periphery, and the portion facing the opening was exposed from the head.
[0006]
The invention described in claim 2 is based on the premise of claim 1 and adopts a configuration in which a portion exposed from the head of the push nut is a knob piece protruding outward from the head.
[0007]
The invention described in claim 3 is based on the premise of claims 1 and 2 and adopts a configuration in which the insertion hole of the boss portion of the mounting part formed on the head is made larger than the outer diameter of the boss portion.
[0009]
Therefore, in the invention according to claim 1, under the state where the fixing clip is attached to the boss portion of the attachment part, the push nut is forcibly expanded by the boss part of the attachment part. If the part exposed from the head is gripped or pulled with a tool or the like, the push nut is released from the boss and the push nut is completely pulled out of the head. It can be easily removed from the boss, and the boss is not damaged along the axial direction. In addition to this, the push nut does not fall out of the storage cavity due to the difference in diameter, but it can move freely inside the storage cavity, so that the boss part of the mounting part is inserted into the inner hole of the push nut. However, since the push nut can be inserted while being automatically centered, the insertion workability is also improved.
[0010]
In the invention of claim 2, in addition to this, in the presence of a knob piece protruding outward from the head, the rotation within the head of the push nut is restricted, and when the push nut is pulled out, It is possible to set the opening of the push nut so as to be always at an appropriate position, and it becomes easier to grip with a tool such as a pliers. In addition to this, since the fixing clip itself can move freely with respect to the boss portion due to the difference in diameter, the positional relationship between the boss portion of the mounting part and the mounting hole of the panel is shifted. Even if this occurs, the displacement can be effectively absorbed by the movement of the clip.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on a preferred embodiment shown in the drawings. The fixing clip according to the embodiment also fixes a door trim having a boss portion on the back surface to a vehicle body panel having a mounting hole. As in the prior art, as shown in FIG. 1, a leg portion 1 that is engaged with a mounting hole of a vehicle body panel and a head portion 2 that houses a metal push nut 3 are provided. The leg 1 and the head 2 are integrally formed of a synthetic resin material.
[0012]
As shown in FIG. 2, the leg portion 1 has two elastic locking walls 4 and flanges 6 extending in the axial direction through vertical slits 5, and the head portion 2 has a push nut 3 inside. The storage cavity 7 has a storage cavity 7 in which the inlet 7a side is smaller than the outer diameter of the push nut 3, and the inner cavity 7b side of the storage cavity 7 is larger than the outer diameter of the push nut 3. It is set. Therefore, the push nut 3 that has forcibly passed through the inlet 7 a of the storage cavity 7 can move freely within the possible range in the interior 7 b of the storage cavity 7.
[0013]
Further, the head 2 has an insertion hole 8 that communicates in a state orthogonal to the storage cavity 7 and passes through the boss portion of the door trim. The diameter of the insertion hole 8 is larger than the outer diameter of the boss portion. It is set to be larger. Accordingly, in combination with the above-described free movement of the push nut 3, the fixing clip itself can move relative to the boss portion by that amount. In the figure, reference numeral 2a denotes a cutout window formed on the upper surface of the head 2, which facilitates the bending of the side wall defining the inlet 7a of the storage cavity 7 so that the push nut 3 is inserted into and extracted from the storage cavity 7. It is something that makes it easy.
[0014]
Further, the metal push nut 3 housed in the housing cavity 7 of the head 2 has an inner hole 9 into which the boss part of the door trim is inserted at the center thereof, and the boss part of the door trim is formed at the edge of the inner hole 9. While the claw 10 is formed to be inclined, an opening 11 cut out from the inner hole 9 toward the outer periphery is opened, and the opening 7 protrudes outward from the inlet 7a of the storage cavity 7 at a portion facing the opening 11. However, the present invention is not limited to the knob 12 and can be configured with an exposed portion that can be gripped or hooked with a tool or the like. .
[0015]
Therefore, when the door trim 21 is fixed to the vehicle body panel P using the fixing clip having such a configuration, first, the gripping piece 12 of the push nut 3 is held with a tool or the like, and the storage cavity 7 of the head 2 is held. The push nut 3 is forcibly pushed in from the inlet 7a, and the push nut 3 is movably accommodated in the interior 7b of the accommodating cavity 7, so that the push nut 3 can be moved without being detached. When the boss portion 22 of the door trim 21 is inserted, as shown in FIG. 3, the boss portion 22 is inserted into the inner hole 9 of the push nut 3, and at the same time, the claw 10 formed on the edge of the inner hole 9 Accordingly, the fixing clip is attached to the boss portion 22 of the door trim 21 in advance. In this state, the knob 12 of the push nut 3 protrudes outward from the inlet 7 a of the storage cavity 7.
[0016]
Further, when the boss portion 22 of the door trim 21 is inserted into the inner hole 9 of the push nut 3 from the insertion hole 8 of the head 2, the push nut 3 moves in the storage cavity 7, and the inner hole 9 and the boss portion 22 are moved. Even if they do not coincide with each other, the claw 10 formed on the edge of the inner hole 9 is inclined, so if this inclined shape is used, the push nut 3 is automatically centered and inserted. As a result, insertion workability is improved.
[0017]
Then, as shown in FIG. 4, when the leg portion 1 of the fixing clip attached to the boss portion 22 side of the door trim 21 is pushed into the mounting hole H previously drilled in the vehicle body panel P, the leg portion 1 Each of the elastic locking walls 4 bends inward and passes through the mounting hole H and locks its overhanging shoulder to the edge of the mounting hole H, so that the door trim 21 is moved to the vehicle body panel P side. It can be fixed.
[0018]
In this final work, even if the positional relationship between the boss portion 22 of the door trim 21 and the mounting hole H of the vehicle body panel P is displaced, the displacement is effectively absorbed by the movement of the fixing clip with respect to the boss portion 22. Therefore, the fixed state of the door trim 21 can be ensured.
[0019]
Further, during the fixing operation of the door trim 21, for example, when the leg 1 of the fixing clip is damaged and the fixing clip needs to be replaced, the opening 11 of the push nut 3 is forcibly forced to the door trim 21. When the knob 12 of the push nut 3 protruding from the inlet 7a of the storage cavity 7 of the head 2 is gripped and pulled with a tool or the like while being spread by the boss portion 22 of the head 2, the boss of the push nut 3 is shown in FIG. The biting into the portion 22 is released and it is completely pulled out from the storage cavity 7, so that the fixing clip can be easily removed from the boss portion 22 and there is no fear of damaging the boss portion 22 along its axial direction.

Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the presence of the knob 12 protruding outward from the head 2 restricts the free rotation of the push nut 3 in the storage cavity 7 by the inlet 7a side of the storage cavity 7. Thus, when the push nut 3 is pulled out, the opening 11 of the push nut 3 can be set to an appropriate position at all times and can be easily gripped with a tool such as a pliers.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention adopts the above-described configuration, and in the state in which the fixing clip is attached to the boss portion of the mounting part, the push nut is forcibly expanded by the boss portion of the mounting part.
