Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an image writing apparatus for writing an image on a display recording medium on which an image is recorded by irradiation of light representing the image and application of a voltage.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, an electrostatic latent image is formed by directly forming reflected light of a document image on a charged photoconductive dielectric material, and the electrostatic latent image is visualized using colored powder or the like. The electrophotographic process and the digital electrophotographic process that forms an electrostatic latent image by digitizing an analog signal read by an image sensor, performing image processing, and driving a laser with the analog signal again are widely known. ing.
[0003]
However, in any type of electrophotographic process, a process is required in which a colored powder is attached to an electrostatic latent image formed on a dielectric material to visualize it, and transferred and fixed on paper to obtain a copied image. Therefore, it is difficult to reduce the size of the device to the extent that it can be held in the hand, and even if the latent image can be formed instantaneously, a visualization process is necessary, and a copied image can be obtained instantaneously. Is impossible.
[0004]
On the other hand, separately from the electrophotographic process, two-dimensional exposure light representing a document image is irradiated onto a display recording medium in which ferroelectric liquid crystal is sealed between electrodes and a photoelectric conversion film is laminated on one electrode, By converting the distribution to the resistance distribution of the photoelectric conversion film, an image corresponding to the partial pressure distribution applied to the ferroelectric liquid crystal layer by the applied voltage of the display recording medium is instantaneously recorded on the ferroelectric liquid crystal layer to obtain a copy image. There is an image writing device (see Patent Document 1).
[0005]
Each optically writable display recording medium, in which images are memorized in a visible and erasable manner by light irradiation and voltage application, is brought into close contact with a two-dimensional exposure means such as a flat panel display so that the image information is optical. It is converted into a pattern, irradiated from the exposure means, and an image is written.

[Patent Document 1]
JP 2001-301233 A (paragraph number 0038, paragraph numbers 0044 to 0047, paragraph numbers 0065 to 0066, FIG. 3, FIG. 4, FIG. 7)
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when images are continuously written on a plurality of display recording media, it is necessary to write the images by bringing the plurality of display recording media into close contact with the exposure means while sequentially conveying them. Therefore, if the display recording medium is transported in contact with the surface of the exposure unit, mechanical wear or scratches may occur on the surface of the exposure unit. On the other hand, if the display recording medium is conveyed in a state of being separated from the surface of the exposure unit, the projected image may be blurred when the image is written by the light irradiated from the exposure unit, and the resolution of the written image may be reduced.
[0008]
In view of the above circumstances, the present invention avoids scratches and mechanical wear that may occur on the surface of the exposure means and the display recording medium when images are continuously written on a plurality of display recording media, and by exposure. An object of the present invention is to provide an image writing apparatus capable of preventing the resolution of a written image from being lowered.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An image writing apparatus of the present invention that achieves the above object includes an exposure unit that emits light representing an image, and the display recording medium on which the image is recorded by irradiation with light representing the image and application of a voltage. In an image writing apparatus for recording an image by irradiating light representing the image from an exposure unit,
A conveying member for conveying the display recording medium;
The display recording medium transported to a predetermined position by the transport member is supported and moved between a contact position where the display recording medium contacts the exposure unit and a separation position where the display recording medium separates from the exposure unit. And a moving member.
[0010]
As described above, after the conveyance member and the moving member are separately provided, the display recording medium is conveyed to a predetermined position, the image is recorded by bringing the conveyed display recording medium into contact with the exposure unit, and the image is recorded. Since the display recording medium is separated from the exposure unit and the display recording medium is conveyed after the separation, the exposure unit and the display recording medium are not damaged.

[0021]
This display recording medium can be created, for example, by the following method.
[0022]
In 74.8 parts of nematic liquid crystal E8 (manufactured by Merck) having positive dielectric anisotropy, 21 parts of chiral agent CB15 (manufactured by BDH) and 4.2 parts of chiral agent R1011 (manufactured by Merck) are dissolved by heating. Thereafter, by returning to room temperature, a chiral nematic liquid crystal that selectively reflects blue-green color light is generated.
[0023]
To 10 parts of this blue-green chiral nematic liquid crystal, 3 parts of an adduct of 3 moles of xylene diisocyanate and 1 mole of trimethylolpropane (D-110N manufactured by Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) and 100 parts of ethyl acetate are added to obtain a homogeneous solution. Adjust the solution.
[0024]
On the other hand, 10 parts of polyvinyl alcohol (Poval 217EE manufactured by Kuraray Co., Ltd.) is added to 1000 parts of heated ion-exchanged water, stirred, and then allowed to cool to prepare a liquid that becomes an aqueous phase.
[0025]
Next, the oil phase described above is emulsified and dispersed for 1 minute in the water phase adjusted by standing cooling with a household mixer to which an AC voltage adjusted to 30 V with a slidac is applied, and oil phase droplets are dispersed in the water phase. Prepare the oil-in-water emulsion. The oil-in-water emulsion is stirred for 2 hours while being heated in a water bath at 60 ° C. to complete the interfacial polymerization to form liquid crystal microcapsules. The average particle size of these liquid crystal microcapsules is estimated to be about 12 μm by a laser particle size distribution meter.
[0026]
The microcapsule dispersion is filtered and passed through a stainless steel mesh with a mesh size of 38 μm and allowed to stand overnight, and the milky white supernatant is removed to obtain a slurry having a solid component of about 390% by mass.
[0027]
Next, a coating solution is prepared by adding a 10% by mass polyvinyl alcohol solution containing polyvinyl alcohol in an amount that is 2/3 of the mass of the solid component made of microcapsules to the slurry.
[0028]
And a display layer is produced by apply | coating the coating liquid with the wire bar of # 44 on the ITO electrode film of the PET film of the surface side in which the 125 micrometer-thick ITO electrode film was formed.
[0029]
Next, a photoconductive layer made of an organic material is formed on the ITO electrode film of the PET film on the back side.
[0030]
First, as a first charge generation layer of the photoconductive layer on the ITO electrode, a propanol dispersion in which hydroxygallium phthalocyanine and polyvinyl butyral as a binder resin are mixed in a 1: 1 ratio is applied to a substrate by a spin coating method and then dried. , 0.2 um thick.
[0031]
Next, a charge transport layer is formed on the charge generation layer. First, 40 masses of charge transport materials N, N-Bis (3,4-dimethylphenyl) birenyl-4-amine, and binder resin PolyCarbonate bisphenol-Z, (poly (4,4′-cyclohexylidene diphenylene carbonate)), respectively. % And 60% by mass, and then dissolved in monochlorobenzene to prepare a 10% solution. This solution was pulled up at a rate of 120 mm / min by dip coating, and 3 μm thick was formed on the charge generation layer. A charge transport layer is formed.
[0032]
Further, the second charge generation layer is formed to a thickness of 0.2 μm by the same material and procedure as the first charge generation layer, and PVA is applied thereon as a transparent isolation layer by spin coating.
[0033]
Next, Dick Dry WS-321A / LD-55 (Dai Nippon Ink), which is a completely aqueous dry laminate adhesive, is applied on the PVA surface of the PET film on which the photoconductive layer is formed on the display layer made of microcapsule chiral nematic liquid crystal. (Chemical Industry) was applied and dried to form an adhesive layer having a thickness of 4 μm, followed by adhesion and lamination at 70 ° C. A coating material in which a black pigment was dispersed was applied to the PET film on the photoconductive layer side of the display recording medium after lamination to form a light absorption layer.
[0034]
When the image recording apparatus described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 is used to write an image using the display recording medium created by such a method, the display recording medium has an image recording surface of irradiated light. High-contrast, blur-free image based on a planar state showing green selective wavelength reflection or a focal conic state showing a light-transmitted background color (here, the black color of the light absorption layer) based on the reflected light pattern at Formed. Further, the LCD panel surface in the exposed part was not scratched.
[0035]
Next, a second embodiment will be described.
