Description
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a thick film capacitor having a porous thick film dielectric as one of the constituent elements.
FIG. 9 shows a conventional thick film capacitor, and a conventional method for manufacturing a thick film capacitor will be described with reference to FIG.

In the conventional thick film capacitor manufactured as described above, since the
However, even if the
The present invention solves the above-described conventional problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing a thick film capacitor capable of greatly improving moisture resistance.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has the following configuration.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a step of forming a pair of lower electrodes by printing a thick film conductive paste on an upper surface of an insulating substrate, and the upper electrode from above one of the pair of lower electrodes. Forming a thick film dielectric over an insulating substrate; forming an upper electrode over the thick film dielectric over the other lower electrode of the pair of lower electrodes; and the thick film dielectric. Forming a resin protective film by printing and curing a thick film resin paste so as to cover all of the upper electrode and a part of the lower electrode, and at least the thickness of the upper electrode Print the part located on the film dielectric with a thick film conductive paste made of Ag containing no Pd and a dielectric material of the same material as the thick film dielectric in a blend ratio of 90: 10-60: 40 Shi The porous film is formed by firing, and the upper electrode and the thick film dielectric are impregnated with the thick film resin paste constituting the resin protective film. According to this manufacturing method, At least a portion of the upper electrode located on the thick film dielectric is mixed with 90 to 10 to 40 to 40 in a thick film conductive paste made of Ag not containing Pd and the same dielectric material as the thick film dielectric. Since the paste blended according to the ratio is printed and baked to form a porous structure, this upper electrode is made porous in the same way as the thick film dielectric, which However, since the resin having a low hygroscopicity constituting the resin protective film is likely to permeate, the resin is surely impregnated into the thick film dielectric portion located below the upper electrode. electrode Since the generation of cavities in the thick-film dielectric located under the layer is drastically reduced, the occurrence of pores in the resin protective film due to the gas in the cavities as in the conventional case is extremely reduced. It is possible to reliably prevent moisture penetration from the pores and deterioration of moisture resistance due to the moisture trap. In addition, the porous structure in the upper electrode is composed of a thick film conductive paste blended with the same dielectric material as the thick film dielectric, so the upper electrode is composed of a material similar to the thick film dielectric. As a result, this has the effect of ensuring dielectric characteristics such as capacitance values and attenuation characteristics that are comparable to conventional ones, and load life reliability.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, a thick film conductive paste is printed on an upper surface of an insulating substrate to form a lower electrode, and a thick film dielectric is formed on the insulating substrate from above the lower electrode. Forming the upper electrode from above the thick film dielectric to the insulating substrate, covering all of the thick film dielectric, part of the upper electrode, and part of the lower electrode Forming a resin protective film by printing and curing a thick film resin paste, and at least a portion of the upper electrode located on the thick film dielectric is made of Ag containing no Pd. A porous structure is formed by printing and baking a paste in which a dielectric material of the same material as the thick film dielectric is blended at a blending ratio of 90:10 to 60:40 on a thick film conductive paste, and the resin protection film The upper electrode and the thick film dielectric are impregnated with the thick film resin paste that constitutes the above, and according to this manufacturing method, at least a portion located on the thick film dielectric in the upper electrode, It is formed by printing and baking a paste in which a dielectric material of the same material as the thick film dielectric is blended at a blending ratio of 90:10 to 60:40 on a thick film conductive paste made of Ag that does not contain Pd and is porous. Since the upper electrode is made of a porous structure, the upper electrode is made porous in the same manner as the thick film dielectric, and this makes it easier for the upper electrode to penetrate the low-hygroscopic resin constituting the resin protective film. Therefore, the resin is surely impregnated in the thick film dielectric portion located below the upper electrode, and as a result, a cavity is generated in the thick film dielectric portion located below the upper electrode. Drastically decrease Therefore, the occurrence of pores in the resin protective film due to the gas in the cavity is extremely reduced as in the past, and as a result, moisture penetration from the pores and moisture resistance deterioration due to moisture absorption traps are reliably prevented. can do.

As a result, the resin is surely impregnated in the portion of the thick film dielectric located below, and as a result, the occurrence of cavities in the portion of the thick film dielectric located under the upper electrode is drastically reduced. It is extremely unlikely that pores are generated in the resin protective film due to gas in the cavity as in the past, and as a result, moisture penetration from the pores and deterioration of moisture resistance due to moisture absorption traps are surely prevented. Can do. In addition, the porous structure in the upper electrode is composed of a thick film conductive paste blended with the same dielectric material as the thick film dielectric, so the upper electrode is composed of a material similar to the thick film dielectric.
