Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a work machine, and more particularly to a structure of an outside air inlet for an air conditioner.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, work machines with improved air-conditioning equipment (hereinafter referred to as air conditioners) in the cab have been widely used. However, in order to withstand operation in environments with a lot of wind and rain, The air inlet has a structure for water resistance, dust resistance, and prevention of soil intrusion. For example, bulldozers have conventionally been provided with an intake structure as shown in FIGS.
[0003]
4 and 5, an air suction port 41 having a predetermined width is formed on the side surface of the engine hood 51 provided in front of the cab 50, and can be opened and closed by a hinge 52 a outside the air suction port 41 so as to cover the air suction port 41. A cover 52 is provided. The cover 52 has a plurality of small holes 52e for taking in air. A filter case 44 is attached inside the side surface of the engine hood 51 so as to surround the air suction port 41. Further, a baffle plate 43 is attached to the vicinity of the air suction port 41 in the filter case 44 via a support plate 42 provided on the top thereof so as to face the air suction port 41. A vent hole 42a is formed in the inner wall. Further, a drain hole 44 b is formed on the lower surface of the filter case 44 substantially below the baffle plate 43. A filter mounting hole 44a is formed in the side surface of the filter case 44 facing the back surface of the baffle plate 43, and a filter body 55 is mounted in the filter mounting hole 44a. Further, a duct 45 is attached to the side surface of the filter case 44 opposite to the air suction port 41 so as to cover the filter attachment hole 44a. The cab 50 is connected to the duct 45 via a tube (not shown). The air conditioner 21 is connected. With the above configuration, the outside air sucked from the air suction port 41 passes through the filter body 55 via the vent hole 42a, and the filtered outside air is thereby introduced into the air conditioner via the duct 45. Yes.
[0004]
However, in the above-described conventional example, since the openable / closable cover 52 that covers the air suction port is provided on the side surface of the engine hood 51, the appearance is not so preferable. In order to solve this problem, as a second conventional technique, for example, an outside air introduction filter mounting structure for an air conditioner of a construction machine described in Patent Document 1 is known, and FIG. 6 shows an outside air for an air conditioner described in the same document. FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional explanatory view around the introduction filter, which will be described below with reference to FIG.
[0005]
A cover 52 covering the cutout hole 51a is attached to a portion of the cutout hole 51a provided in the engine hood 51 so as to be opened and closed with the hinge 52a as a fulcrum. A punching metal 52 c is welded to an outside air intake hole provided in the cover 52, and a pressing plate 52 d is welded to the lower surface of the cover 52.
[0006]
A boss 51d is welded to the lower surface of the engine hood 51 via a rib 51c provided so as to surround the cutout hole 51a, and the filter hood 53 is attached to the engine hood 51 by a bolt 54 screwed to the boss 51d. It is attached in a state of being suspended inside. A filter lower support plate 53b that rises vertically is welded to the inner bottom surface of the filter case 53 so as to surround the filter main body 55, and the filter main body 55 is placed on the upper edge of the filter lower support plate 53b. The bottom surface of the filter case 53 is provided with a plurality of small holes through which the filtered outside air passes through the portion surrounded by the filter lower support plate 53b. The filter cover 56 covering the filter main body 55 has a rubber cushion 56a fixed to the upper surface, and a filter upper support plate 56b vertically welded to the lower surface so as to surround the filter main body 55. A seal 56c is attached to the lower end of the filter upper support plate 56b. When the cover 52 is closed and hooked on the engine hood 51, the pressing plate 52d compresses the rubber cushion 56a and pushes down the filter cover 56. The filter body 55 is sandwiched between the filter lower support plate 53b and the filter upper support plate 56b. In order to allow outside air sucked from the punching metal 52c to enter the filter main body 55, the filter upper support plate 56b is partially provided with a notch. Further, the bottom surface of the filter case 53 is provided with a drain hole 53d at a peripheral edge portion excluding a portion surrounded by the filter lower support plate 53b.
[0007]
The outside air introduced into the air conditioner enters the engine hood 51 from the outside air intake hole where the punching metal 52c of the cover 52 is welded, as shown by arrows in FIG. The filter body 55 enters into the filter main body 55 from the notch 56b. The outside air filtered in the filter main body 55 passes through a small hole provided in the bottom surface of the filter case 53, enters the air duct 57 from the lower case 53e, and is supplied to the air conditioner.

[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the following problems have been pointed out in the conventional outside air introduction filter mounting structure described in Patent Document 1. Since earth and sand easily enter along with rainwater and the like from the outside air intake hole of the cover 52 provided on the upper surface portion of the engine hood 51, the entered earth and sand accumulates in the drain hole 53d of the filter case 53 and solidifies. For this reason, when rainwater accumulates, the filter main body 55 gets wet and the filter is clogged. Therefore, maintenance such as frequent cleaning of the filter case 53 or replacement of the filter main body 55 is required. Is a very annoying task.
[0010]
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above-mentioned problems, and has as its object to provide an outside air inlet structure of an air conditioner for a working machine that is difficult for soil and rainwater to enter and that has a good appearance. .
[0011]
[Means, actions and effects for solving the problems]
To achieve the above object, according to a first aspect of the present invention, an air conditioner is provided in an air conditioner for a working machine, in which an air conditioner is installed in a driver's cab and an outside air intake port for sucking outside air introduced into the air conditioner is provided in an engine hood around the cab In the mouth structure, a rear wall member that is disposed at a rear end portion of the engine hood, supports the engine hood and forms a side surface portion of the engine hood, and a gap provided between the rear wall member and the cab, An outside air inlet formed in the rear wall member is provided .
[0012]
According to the first invention, the earth and sand that has fallen into the gap provided between the cab and the rear wall member of the engine hood falls down as it is, and the rear wall member of the engine hood that faces the gap. It is rarely inhaled with outside air from the formed outside air inlet. For this reason, earth and sand etc. rarely enter the outside air introduction chamber in which the filter main body is mounted, and the problem that this accumulates in the drain hole and hardens is eliminated. Accordingly, since the frequency of maintenance work such as removal of earth and sand in the outside air introduction chamber and replacement of the filter body is reduced, the burden on the operator is greatly reduced. Further, since the outside air inlet is not visible from the side of the vehicle body, the appearance is good.
[0013]
According to a second invention, in the first invention, an outside air baffle plate is provided outside the outside air inlet.
[0014]
According to the second invention, since there is a baffle plate, it becomes difficult for rainwater to enter from the outside air inlet, and the performance of the filter main body can be maintained for a long time.
[0015]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect of the present invention, a hole is provided on the upper surface of the engine hood for taking in and out when replacing the filter main body provided in the vicinity of the outside air inlet.
[0016]
According to the third aspect of the invention, since the hole for taking in and out the filter body and the outside air inlet are not visible from the side of the vehicle body, the appearance is good.
[0017]

Further, on the back surface of the engine hood 1 that is a predetermined distance away from the outside air inlet 3a of the rear wall member 3 to the rear (close to the driver's cab), the lower edge is below the vertical center position of the outside air inlet 3a. The first baffle plate 7a is provided so as to be located, and the upper edge portion is located at the lower edge of the first baffle plate 7a at a position in the outside air introduction chamber that is further away from the outside air inlet 3a by a predetermined distance forward. A second baffle plate 7 b is erected on the bottom surface of the filter mounting member 2 so as to be positioned above the position of the portion. The lower edge portion of the first baffle plate 7a and the upper edge portion of the second baffle plate 7b are provided so as to overlap each other by a predetermined length L1 in the vertical direction. A drain hole 2b is formed on the bottom surface of the filter mounting member 2 at a position sandwiched between the second baffle plate 7b and the rear wall member 3.
[0020]
A filter mounting hole 2a for mounting the filter body 16 is formed on the bottom surface of the filter mounting member 2 in the outside air introduction chamber, and the lower surface of the bottom surface covers the filter mounting hole 2a. A container-like case 8 opened upward is attached. Further, a vent hole 8b is formed on the bottom surface of the case 8, and a tube connection port member 8a protruding downward is attached to the vent hole 8b. One end side of a tube 8c for blowing the outside air filtered by the filter body 16 is connected to the tube connection port member 8a, and the other end side of the tube 8c is connected to an outside air introduction port of an air conditioner (not shown).
[0021]
A filter main body 16 is fitted in the filter mounting hole 2a, and is pressed and fixed from above the filter main body 16 by a pressing member 10 inserted into the hole 1a on the upper surface of the engine hood 1. The pressing member 10 is fastened to the engine hood 1 by bolts (in the drawing, bolts with knobs) 15. The filter main body 16 is composed of two filters 16a and 16b in the drawing, but the number of filters is not limited.
[0022]
As shown in FIG. 3, the pressing member 10 includes a plate 11 and a hollow substantially rectangular parallelepiped member 12 that is attached to the lower surface of the plate 11 in a frame shape and has air holes 12 a and 12 b at least on the side surfaces and the lower surface. It is configured. Further, a projecting portion 13 projecting downward is provided on the outer peripheral edge portion of the lower surface of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped member 12, and a seal member 14 made of, for example, rubber is provided on the projecting portion 13, and the seal member 14 is attached to the projecting portion 13. The filter main body 16 is pressed down.
[0023]
According to the above configuration, outside air enters from the gap 19 provided between the cab 50 and the engine hood 1, wraps around the lower edge of the first baffle plate 7 a, and is sucked through the outside air inlet 3 a of the rear wall member 3. Then, it passes over the upper side of the second baffle plate 7b and is introduced into the outside air introduction chamber via the vent hole 12a on the side surface of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped member 12 of the pressing member 10. The outside air filtered by the filter main body 16 through the vent hole 12b on the lower surface of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped member 12 is introduced into the air conditioner through the case 8 and the tube 8c.
[0024]
At this time, since sand or the like falls downward from the gap 19 provided between the cab 50 and the engine hood 1, it hardly enters the outside air introduction chamber from the outside air inlet 3a and is difficult to accumulate in the outside air introduction chamber. . For this reason, since the frequency of maintenance work such as cleaning of the outside air introduction chamber and replacement of the filter main body 16 is significantly reduced, the burden on the operator can be reduced.
The outside air inlet 3a is opened toward a gap 19 provided between the cab 50 and the engine hood 1, and the hole 1a for inserting and removing the filter main body 16 when the filter main body 16 is replaced has an engine hood. In the state where the filter body 16 is pressed by the pressing member 10 with the pressing member 10 formed on the upper surface of the engine hood 1, the projecting portion from the upper surface of the engine hood 1 is only a bolt.
[0025]
As described above, according to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
The outside air inlet for the air conditioner is provided on the side of the hood facing the gap between the cab and the engine hood, so it is difficult for soil and sand to be sucked into the outside air introduction chamber. Maintenance work such as replacement of the main body is reduced, and maintenance becomes very easy. In addition, a replacement hole for the filter body installed in the outside air introduction chamber is formed on the upper surface of the engine hood, and the hole is closed with a pressing member, so that the appearance from the side is also very good. .
[0026]
In addition, since a baffle plate for intake air is provided on the front side (operator side) of the outside air intake port, it is possible to prevent rainwater from entering, thereby reducing the frequency of replacement of the filter body, and the earth and sand in the outside air introduction chamber. Can be prevented from sticking.
