BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a water-decomposable or water-soluble absorbent article having both strength during wearing and water-decomposability or water-solubility at the time of disposal.
[0002]
[Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention]
As a water-disintegratable absorbent article, for example, an article described in JP-A-5-161672 is known. The absorbent article described in this publication has a water-repellent material on a water-repellent paper in which a polyvinyl alcohol film is provided with a plurality of small holes and water-repellent treatment is performed, and pulp and rayon are bound with polyvinyl alcohol fibers. It is constituted by sandwiching an absorber made of pulp and a water-absorbing polymer with a back surface material that has been treated.
[0003]
However, since it is necessary to ensure water disintegration in the absorbent article, it is difficult to sufficiently increase the strength of the front surface material and the back surface material. Therefore, the liquid absorption causes fuzz due to a decrease in surface strength, the strength of the absorbent article as a whole decreases, breaks, and rigidity and flexibility tend to decrease. On the contrary, if it is going to raise the intensity | strength of the said surface material and the said back surface material, water disintegration must be reduced. Thus, strength and water disintegration are in a trade-off relationship. In addition, since the surface material and the back surface material have been subjected to water repellent treatment as described above, it cannot be said that water disintegration is originally good.
[0004]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a water-decomposable or water-soluble absorbent article having both strength during wearing and water-disintegration property or water-solubility at the time of disposal.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to an absorbent article having a liquid-permeable surface layer, a liquid-impermeable leak-proof layer, and a liquid-retaining absorbent layer interposed between both layers.
The surface layer, the leak-proof layer and the absorption layer are all composed of a material that can be hydrolyzed or water-soluble,
The absorbent layer, the surface layer and / or the leak-proof layer are joined in a discontinuous joining pattern by thermal joining means in the main absorbent region of the absorbent article,

[0039]
[Examples 1-3]
The panty liner shown in FIG.1 and FIG.2 was manufactured using the top sheet, back sheet, and absorber which consist of the material shown in Table 1, and basic weight. The panty liner had a length of 140 mm and a maximum width of 60 mm, and the peripheral joint was formed to a width of 2 mm by heat sealing. Table 2 shows the area ratio of the joint fixing portions and the area and the number of the individual joint fixing portions in the obtained panty liner. The measurement of the area ratio and the like of the joint fixing part was targeted within a 3 cm × 3 cm square range. For the joining, a joining pattern having a shape shown in Table 2 was formed by using fusion with a pressing pin having a rounded tip and heated to 180 ° C. In addition, the top sheet, the back sheet, and the absorbent body have a water-decomposable or water-soluble degree (a value of ease of loosening, JIS P 4501) as shown in Table 1. In Example 3, two types of bonding patterns were used.
[0040]
[Examples 4 and 5]
A panty liner (Example 4) shown in FIG. 3 and a panty liner (Example 5) shown in FIG. 4 were produced using the same materials as in Example 1. The area ratio and the like of the joint fixing part in the obtained panty liner were as shown in Table 2. In Example 4, two types of bonding patterns were used.
[0041]
[Comparative Example 1]
A panty liner was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the area ratio of the joint fixing portion was set to the values shown in Table 2.
[0042]
[Comparative Example 2]
A panty liner was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that a rhombus lattice-like joint fixing portion was formed over the entire surface of the panty liner. The area ratio and the like of the joint fixing part in the obtained panty liner were as shown in Table 2.
[0043]
[Performance evaluation]
About the panty liner obtained by the Example and the comparative example, the degree of water decomposability | decomposability or water solubility (the value of ease of loosening, JIS P4501) was measured by the above-mentioned method. Moreover, the fuzz prevention property at the time of liquid absorption was evaluated with the following method. These results are shown in Table 2.
[0044]
[Fuzz prevention during liquid absorption]
A female lumbar model [manufactured by Koken Co., Ltd.], 0.5 g of 65 wt% glycerin aqueous solution [glycerin; Kanto Chemical Co., Ltd. Lot No. 17029-00, ion-exchanged water, edible blue No. 1, sold by ) Aisen] was injected with a dropper by 0.3 g (injected in 1 drop per second and completed in 7 to 10 seconds, total 0.3 g injected). One minute after the start of the injection, a panty liner is attached to the shorts (Kao-made, Laurier shorts L size), and a walking evaluation is performed at 100 steps / minute for 1 hour (an angle of about 10 ° back and forth so that a person walks) To move). After completion of the evaluation, the condition of the surface of the portion where the liquid was absorbed was evaluated as compared with the portion where the liquid was not absorbed. The case of the same degree was marked with ◯, the case with a lot of fluff was marked with △, and the case where a tear or a hole occurred was marked with ×.
[0045]
[Table 1]
[0046]
[Table 2]
[0047]
As is clear from the results shown in Table 2, the sanitary panty liners of the examples (product of the present invention) have substantially the same water disintegration property (water solubility) as the panty liners of Comparative Example 1, and Comparative Example 1 It can be seen that fuzzing is suppressed more than the panty liners. In addition, the panty liner of Comparative Example 2 has almost the same fluffing as the panty liner of each Example, but it is understood that the panty liner is inferior in water disintegrability.
[0048]
【The invention's effect】
According to the absorbent article of the present invention, strength during wearing and water disintegration or water solubility at the time of disposal are compatible, and fluffing, tearing, twisting, and the like due to liquid absorption are effectively prevented.
