Abstract

【課題】近年のライフスタイルの変化により家庭洋便器での小用を着座姿勢で行う男性が増えてきたなか、未だ立姿勢での小用を慣習としている男性にも違和感なく座っての小用に移行してもらえる工夫をもった、新時代に対応する便座装置を開発すること。
【解決手段】便器本体５と、その上に設けられた便座１と、便座１の回転軸を受ける便座基部３と、からなる便器であって、便座１と便器本体５との間隙をほとんどなくするとともに便座１の外縁と便器本体５の外縁とを揃えて便座１の外縁に指が掛からない様にし、かつ、便座１の開放をロックするロック手段を便座基部３に備えることを特徴とする便座装置。
