Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mounting structure for a solid-state imaging device such as a CCD used in an imaging apparatus such as a digital camera.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, an image pickup apparatus that converts an image taken with a solid-state image pickup device such as a CCD into an electric signal and records it in a memory, a floppy disk, or the like instead of a silver salt film has become widespread.
[0003]
In a conventional imaging optical system in an imaging apparatus, a solid-state imaging device is soldered to a glass epoxy substrate, and then the glass epoxy substrate is interposed, so that an imaging surface of a light beam incident through the imaging lens and the solid-state imaging device Many structures were attached to the optical unit so that the imaging surface coincided with the imaging surface. In this specification, the optical unit refers to an optical unit that includes the above-described photographing lens, an infrared cut filter, and the like and forms a photographing optical system of a digital camera by being attached with a solid-state image sensor.
[0004]
Recently, solid-state imaging devices having more than 2 million pixels have been put into practical use. Since such a solid-state imaging device has a very small size per pixel, extremely high positioning accuracy is required when it is attached to the optical unit so as not to be tilted or displaced. However, in the above conventional mounting structure, due to the thickness of the solder itself for fixing the solid-state imaging device to the glass epoxy substrate, the flatness is already lost in the step of fixing the solid-state imaging device to the glass epoxy substrate. Moreover, even if the solder layers can all be made uniform in thickness, the warp of the glass epoxy substrate cannot fix the solid-state imaging device to the optical unit while maintaining a high level of flatness. Further, in the above-described conventional mounting structure, even if positioning holes are provided in the glass epoxy substrate and positioning and soldering are performed so that the imaging surface of the solid-state imaging device is arranged at a predetermined position, The difference always causes a position shift. That is, it is not suitable as a structure for mounting a solid-state imaging device having a large number of pixels on an optical unit.
[0005]
In addition to the above-described mounting structure, several solid-state imaging element mounting structures for mounting a solid-state imaging element having a large number of pixels at a position where a light beam enters substantially perpendicularly have been proposed. However, it is difficult to say that all of them have sufficiently high accuracy, and there remains a problem that the work efficiency of attachment to the optical unit is poor.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, in view of the above circumstances, the present invention provides a solid-state image sensor holding block that can hold a solid-state image sensor with high accuracy without causing tilting or misalignment, and a photographic lens group provided in the optical unit. A solid-state imaging device that can be mounted on an optical unit in a stable state without causing tilting or floating with respect to the image plane, and that can perform positioning and mounting on the optical unit efficiently.
