【0052】
θ=sin-1(M・dV/dt−h・T)/Mg ・・・(3)
【0053】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electric vehicle having a function of detecting a road surface gradient.BothRelated.
[0002]
[Prior art and its problems]
Japanese Unexamined Utility Model Publication No. 6-5301 discloses an example in which the gradient of the road surface on which the electric vehicle is traveling is detected and the detection result relating to the gradient of the road surface is applied to the control method of the braking device for the electric vehicle. This is a system in which the braking device is operated with a predetermined time delay from the stop of the vehicle driving device, and includes a pendulum type road surface gradient detecting unit, and the road surface gradient detected by the pendulum type road surface gradient detecting unit. The present invention relates to an electric vehicle that controls the above-described delay time in two stages.
[0003]
In addition to the road surface gradient, the electric vehicle described in the above publication is a pendulum type in which the acceleration acting on the vehicle, the vibration generated from the vehicle equipment such as the drive motor, or the pitch of the vehicle due to the road surface unevenness is mounted. The road surface gradient detecting means is output as noise and cannot accurately detect the road surface gradient.
[0004]
Further, the pendulum type road surface gradient detecting means provided in the electric vehicle described in the above-mentioned publication is not used in general electric vehicles, but is installed only for detecting the road surface gradient. There are many problems in manufacturing the electric vehicle, such as securing a space for attachment to the electric vehicle, installation of an attachment member, addition of an attachment process, etc., which are very disadvantageous in terms of cost.
[0005]
Furthermore, the control device for the braking device of the electric vehicle described in the above-mentioned publication only moves the actuator start time of the braking device back and forth based on the road surface gradient detected by the road surface gradient detecting means. In view of the operation delay of the wheel brake device with respect to the operation start time of the actuator, the timing at which the wheel brake device actually applies the braking force to the wheel has not been made appropriate.
[0008]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present inventionEyesThe objective is to provide an electric vehicle having a function of detecting a road surface gradient capable of generating a braking force at an appropriate timing according to the road surface gradient traveling.
[0009]
Main departureClearlyThen, a drive motor that drives the wheel, a rotation speed detection device that detects the rotation speed of the drive motor,An automatic brake actuator that operates separately from the brake operation of the vehicle occupant, a wheel brake device that applies a braking force to the wheel by the operation of the automatic brake actuator, and the rotational speed of the drive motor detected by the rotational speed detection device In accordance with the first aspect of the present invention, there is provided an electric vehicle including: a first braking force control unit that controls the automatic brake actuator in response to the braking force according to the rotational speed of the drive motor.Based on the rotational speed of the drive motor detected by the rotational speed detection device, the temporal change in the rotational speed of the drive motor is calculated, and the road surface gradient during traveling is detected based on the temporal change in the calculated rotational speed. DoWhen the road surface gradient detected by the road surface gradient detecting means and the road surface gradient detecting means is large, the automatic braking actuator is controlled by the first braking force control means before the automatic braking actuator is controlled by the first braking force control means. And second braking force control means for operating the automatic brake actuator more rapidly than operating the brake actuator. It is characterized byThe
[0017]
thisThe present inventionAccording to the configuration ofBy the road surface gradient detecting meansWhen the detected road gradient is largeThe second braking force control means is more effective than the first braking force control means operating the automatic brake actuator before the automatic braking actuator is controlled by the first braking force control means. Is activated suddenly. ThisThe brake delay time, which is the time interval from when the automatic brake actuator is activated to when the wheel brake device applies braking force to the wheel, is shortened, and braking force is generated at the wheel of the electric vehicle at an appropriate timing. To prevent the speed from rising too much while driving downhill.RukoYou can.
[0018]
In the present invention, the road surface gradient detecting means detects a road surface gradient during traveling when, for example, the driving force applied from the drive motor to the wheels is zero. According to this, when the road surface gradient is detected, since the rotational speed of the drive motor is only affected by the road surface gradient, the road surface gradient can be detected more accurately.

Next, a method for detecting a road surface gradient according to the present invention will be described. FIG. 4 schematically shows a state in which the vehicle C is traveling on a downhill road surface S that is generally at an inclination angle (road surface gradient) θ. In FIG. 4, the driving wheel of a vehicle C having a weight M generates a driving torque of T, and the vehicle C is traveling at a vehicle speed change rate (vehicle acceleration) dV / dt. At this time, the load acting downward along the downhill road surface S with respect to the vehicle C due to gravity and the driving torque T of the driving wheel is:
[0048]
[Expression 1]
Mg · sinθ + hT (1)
[0049]
It is expressed. In the equation (1), g is a gravitational acceleration, and h is a conversion coefficient when the driving torque T of the driving wheel is converted into a propulsive force acting on the vehicle C (here, road resistance and air resistance that the vehicle C receives) Etc. are ignored). On the other hand, this is equal to the product of the vehicle weight M and the vehicle speed change rate dV / dt with respect to time.
[0050]
[Expression 2]
M · dV / dt = Mg · sin θ + h · T (2)
[0051]
It is expressed. When this is transformed into an equation for θ,
[0052]
[Equation 3]
θ = sin-1(M · dV / dt−h · T) / Mg (3)
[0053]
It is expressed. Accordingly, the road surface gradient θ is a function of the vehicle speed change rate dV / dt and is represented in FIG. In the above-described embodiment, the description has been made based on the state where the vehicle C is traveling on the downhill road surface S. However, even if the vehicle C is traveling on the uphill road surface, In the equation (3), if M · dV / dt and h · T are negative values, the road surface gradient can be detected in the same manner.
[0054]
Hereinafter, the vehicle C in FIG. 4 described above is replaced with the
