The present invention provides a liquid for aspirating, coagulating, and discarding liquid waste such as blood and other bodily fluids and secretions that need to be discarded in the medical field, or physiological saline used for washing the affected area. The present invention relates to a waste treatment apparatus.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In medical settings, liquid waste such as blood and other bodily fluids and secretions that are generated when performing surgical operations and that must be discarded, such as physiological saline used to wash the affected area, are put into containers and collection bags with a suction device. Collected and disposed of by incineration.
[0003]
The suction of these liquid wastes uses a suction terminal prepared in a hospital room or operating room, and connects the suction terminal and the exhaust port of the processing apparatus with a hose, thereby negative pressure inside the container body of the processing apparatus. Used as a state. Then, the liquid waste is collected in a container of the processing apparatus which has been in a negative pressure state through the suction port, and the collected liquid waste is prepared in advance in the container or is liquid waste by a coagulant to be introduced later. Is solidified and discarded.
[0004]
Here, the normal exhaust port of such a processing apparatus is provided on the top surface of the container, but if the liquid waste collected in the container remains in a liquid state and exceeds the capacity of the container or falls, the liquid waste May flow out of the exhaust port and may contaminate hospital equipment such as a suction terminal.

[Prior Art 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-190610 [Prior Art 2]
JP-A-5-201452 [Prior Art 3]
JP-A-58-98668 [0006]
The above prior art 1 discloses a liquid waste treatment apparatus having a float holding a coagulant inside a container. Conventional Example 2 discloses a liquid intrusion prevention device using fibers that expand when water is absorbed.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the liquid waste treatment apparatus, as the conventional example in which the liquid intrusion prevention device is provided in the exhaust port, the above-described conventional example 2 exists, but even when the fiber is coarse and the water is swollen and expanded, The hermeticity was not sufficient and was not sufficient to prevent the outflow of liquid waste. The
[0008]
Accordingly, the present invention provides a liquid waste treatment apparatus that can prevent contamination of the suction equipment of a hospital more reliably without causing liquid waste to flow out of the container even if it reaches the exhaust port for some reason. Is to provide.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a liquid waste treatment apparatus according to the present invention includes a container, an exhaust port provided in an upper part of the container, for bringing the container into a negative pressure state, and liquid waste in the container. a suction port for introducing the inserted fitted fixed to the exhaust pipe attached to the exhaust port has a stopper to prevent the suction into the container outside the liquid waste, wherein the stopper includes a plurality of successive The liquid waste is composed of a substance formed into a tablet shape by encapsulating water-absorbing polymer particles that accumulate due to water absorption in the pores of a porous substance that communicates the inside and outside of the container as vent holes . In order to increase the contact area with the stopper, a concave portion provided at the center of the stopper is arranged facing downward.
[0010]
According to the above configuration, even if the liquid waste sucked into the container becomes full in the container or reaches the exhaust port due to the container tilting, the stopper in contact with the liquid waste is The water-absorbing polymer particles in the interior expand and block the air holes. At the same time, the liquid waste material closes the hole of the stopper made of a porous material, and the exhaust is stopped reliably.
[0011]
In addition, the liquid waste treatment apparatus holds a coagulant for solidifying the liquid waste introduced into the container, and floats in the liquid waste, and is pressed against the float by the float. When the liquid waste is fully loaded in the container, the stop valve first stops the exhaust, and the stopper further assists. In particular, liquid waste is prevented from flowing out of the container.
[0012]
Furthermore, the liquid waste treatment apparatus has a discharge port that can be connected to the suction port of the adjacent liquid waste treatment apparatus, thereby making the discharge port and the exhaust port independent, thereby increasing the processing capacity. It is possible to connect the liquid waste treatment apparatus.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, when the liquid waste reaches the exhaust port, the stopper in contact with the liquid waste absorbs the water, and the water-absorbing polymer particles in the inside expand to block the vent hole. Further, the exhaust of the liquid waste can be stopped reliably by closing the hole of the stopper made of the porous material. For this reason, it can prevent that liquid waste flows out of a container and contaminates facilities, such as a suction outlet of a hospital.
[0051]
In addition, by adopting a configuration having a stop valve at the exhaust port, when the liquid waste becomes full in the container, the stop valve first stops the exhaust, and the stopper supplements the liquid waste. Since the outflow to the outside of the container is prevented, the outflow of liquid waste to the outside of the container can be prevented more reliably.
[0052]
Further, the liquid waste treatment apparatus is provided with a separate discharge port, which is made independent of the exhaust port, thereby connecting the suction port and the discharge port in an adjacent treatment device to increase the processing capacity, thereby increasing the processing capacity. It becomes possible to connect the waste treatment apparatus.
