Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a lens system, and more particularly to a lens system having a preset function for storing a preset position and reproducing the preset position with respect to the focus of a photographing lens for a television camera.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in a lens system used for a television camera, if a desired position such as focus or zoom is stored as a preset position, focus or zoom can be performed by a predetermined preset reproduction instruction operation (for example, one push operation of a reproduction switch). A preset function for automatically reproducing the image at the preset position is known (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-334474).
[0003]
In addition, the subject position may change between when the preset position for the focus is stored and when the preset position is reproduced. In this case, the reproduction of the preset position may cause blurring. Therefore, in order to prevent such a situation, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 60-48678 proposes a system in which autofocus (AF) is activated to focus on the subject after the preset position reproduction operation is completed. Has been.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the AF is activated after the preset position reproducing operation as described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 60-48678, the focus may move in the opposite direction to the preset position reproducing operation. In this case, the focus is once focused on the subject during the reproduction operation at the preset position, and then the image is out of focus, and then the focus is refocused by AF, resulting in a problem that the video is unsightly.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and a lens system that activates an AF so that a subject is in focus by a smooth operation without causing a sense of incongruity at the time of reproduction of a preset position for focus. The purpose is to provide.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the invention described in
[0007]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect of the invention, the AF focus control means moves the focus when the control switching means switches the control from the preset reproduction focus control means. The focus is stopped at a position where the focus is moved by moving the focus in the same direction as the movement direction of the focus at the time of the switching at a speed that does not exceed the speed.
[0008]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the first or second aspect of the invention, the AF focus control means sets the focus to a preset position when the position where the in-focus state is not detected. On the other hand, it is characterized by stopping within a predetermined distance.
[0009]
According to the present invention, when the focus is controlled so that the focus of the photographing lens becomes the preset position stored in advance, when the focus approaches a predetermined distance from the preset position, the focus control is performed. Since the focus is controlled so as to be in focus based on the information related to the subject, even if the subject position changes between the preset position storage and playback, the subject is focused during preset playback. Can be matched. In addition, since the autofocus control is started before the playback operation to the preset position ends, the phenomenon that the focus moves in the opposite direction to the playback operation after the playback operation to the preset position is reduced is reduced. The subject is brought into focus by a smooth operation without causing a sense of incongruity. Furthermore, the focus is opposite to the reproduction operation by limiting the movement speed and movement direction of the focus to the speed that does not exceed the movement speed at the time of the reproduction operation and the same direction as at the time of the reproduction operation. The phenomenon of moving in the direction can be surely prevented, and the subject can be brought into focus by a smoother operation.

In the above description, the shot target is determined by the on / off state of the shot permission switches 60A, 60B, and 60C at the time of shot registration. Regardless of the on / off state of the permission switches 60A, 60B, 60C, the preset positions for all the objects (zoom, focus, iris) are stored in the
[0034]
Next, shot reproduction processing when focus is selected as a shot target will be described. Note that the shot reproduction with respect to the focus is referred to as a focus (FOCUS) shot. In the case of a focus shot, instead of stopping the focus lens FL at the preset position, the focus lens FL is switched to AF processing before the focus lens FL reaches the preset position, and the focus lens FL is brought into a focus state near the preset position. Move and stop. The specific processing procedure in the

If YES in step S28, that is, if it is determined that the preset position has been largely passed, the AF process is terminated (step S30), and the process returns to step S12.
[0038]
The focus shot processing is executed by the above processing, but the predetermined distance as a determination condition as to whether or not it is immediately before the end of the shot in step S16 may be a predetermined value, or the operator may It may be possible to set and change to a desired value in consideration of the variation in distance. Alternatively, the operator can set the variation in the distance of the subject, and a distance corresponding to the range may be set as the predetermined distance. The same applies to the predetermined distance that is the determination condition in step S28.
[0039]
As described above, in the above-described embodiment, the processes related to the preset function are mainly performed in the
[0040]
In the above embodiment, when the focus shot is executed, the AF is activated when the focus approaches the preset position to a predetermined distance. In addition to this mode, the focus is preset without operating the AF. The operator may be able to select the mode of the conventional preset function to be moved to the position.
[0041]
In the above embodiment, as the AF method, the focus evaluation value is obtained based on the video signal obtained by the image pickup device of the television camera, and the position of the focus lens FL is set so that the focus evaluation value is maximized. Although the case of the contrast method is described, the present invention can also be applied to the case of the following contrast method or a method different from the contrast method.
[0042]
For example, in the above embodiment, the wobbling lens WL is wobbled to determine whether or not the focus evaluation value is maximum at the current position of the focus lens FL. However, the optical path can be determined without wobbling. A plurality of image sensors arranged at different positions (all image sensors may be dedicated to AF, or an image sensor for generating a video signal for video display is one of a plurality of image sensors for AF. The present invention can also be applied to a contrast method using the same. In this method, a focus evaluation value is obtained for each video signal based on a plurality of video signals obtained from a plurality of imaging elements having different optical path lengths in the same manner as in the above-described embodiment, and from the magnitude relationship of the focus evaluation values. It is determined whether or not focus is obtained at the current position of the focus lens FL. If the focus is not in focus, it is determined whether the focus position is in an infinite direction or a close direction from the current position of the focus lens FL. The
[0043]
Further, the present invention can be applied even when the active method is adopted as the AF method. For example, in the active method, the subject is irradiated with measurement light from the light emitting unit, and the measurement light reflected by the subject is received by the light receiving unit, so that the distance to the subject can be reduced from the principle of triangulation, the round trip time of the measurement light, etc. Measured. Then, the focus lens is set at a position corresponding to the measured distance. Note that the measurement wave used in the active method is not limited to light, but may be radio waves or sound waves.
[0044]
Further, the present invention can be applied when AF is performed by combining both the contrast method and the active method.
[0045]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the lens system of the present invention, when the focus is controlled so that the focus of the photographing lens becomes the preset position stored in advance, the focus approaches a predetermined distance with respect to the preset position. Since the focus control is switched to the auto focus control and the focus is controlled based on the information related to the subject, the subject position changes between when the preset position is stored and when it is played back. However, you can focus on the subject during preset playback.
