BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rust preventive polymer composition for producing a molded article such as a film used to prevent a metal such as iron or an iron product from being rusted during storage or transportation, and a metal rust preventive. Regarding the method.
[0002]
[Prior art]
There are various causes of rust, but the most common is that, for example, iron or iron products come into contact with moisture-containing air, and air or carbon dioxide dissolves in the moisture adhering to these surfaces. Is oxidized and iron rust (black rust (ferrous hydroxide) and red rust (ferric hydroxide)) is generated. Rust gradually progresses from the surface to the inside, causing corrosion.
[0003]
In order to prevent the occurrence of rust and corrosion, in the case of iron products, the surface is usually plated or the application of a rust preventive paint is performed.
Further, when storing or transporting a metal material such as a steel material, rust prevention treatment such as application of oil to the surface or wrapping with rust prevention paper or the like is performed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As a kind of rust-proof paper, a film or sheet made of a composition in which a special organic amine such as nitrite of dicyclohexylamine having strong vaporization property or a salt thereof is blended as a rust preventive agent is used as a polymer. In this case, steel or the like is put into a bag or the like formed of a film or the like made of the above composition, and contact with the outside air is blocked by heat-sealing the opening, and organic amine or the like is gradually added in the bag. Rust prevention action is expressed by being adsorbed on the metal surface which is vaporized (which naturally vaporizes in the atmosphere).
This method is preferable from the viewpoint of the rust prevention effect, but organic amines as rust preventive agents are often toxic and have strong vaporization properties, so when blended with polymers and processed products are used. Since it is difficult to handle in terms of safety and hygiene and is expensive, there is a demand for a rust inhibitor that is harmless, easy to handle, and inexpensive.
[0005]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention, rust preventive itself non-toxic, easy to handle, capable of anticorrosive metal, metal explosion used for production of moldings, such as a polymer film containing the rust inhibitor It is to provide a rust polymer composition and a metal rust prevention method.
As a result of diligent investigations to achieve the above object, the present inventor is a safe substance described in the food additive list, and does not generate harmful gases during processing or use of molded products. Since many are produced, it has been found that slaked lime, which is an inexpensive material, has an excellent rust prevention effect in a state where it is blended in a polymer, and the present invention has been completed.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, slaked lime is blended at a rate of 0.02 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polymer , and quick lime is blended at a rate of 0.1 to 40 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of slaked lime. There are provided a metal rust-preventing polymer composition and a metal rust-preventing method characterized by covering a metal with a molded article comprising the polymer composition.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to embodiments of the invention.
The polymer composition for metal rust prevention of the present invention is used for the production of a molded body such as a film that can prevent rust of the metal by its use, and the polymer matrix has slaked lime as described above as a rust preventive agent. It is distributed.
As the polymer that forms the polymer matrix in the present invention, any polymer can be used as long as it can disperse slaked lime and can mold the composition in which slaked lime is dispersed into various molded products such as sheets or films. There is no particular limitation. For example, vinyl polymers such as vinyl chloride resin and polyvinyl alcohol; olefin polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, EVA, poly (4-methylpentene-1), ethylene / tetracyclododecene copolymer, polybutene-1; 1,2-polybutadiene; AS resin, ABS resin, methacrylate-styrene copolymer resin and other styrene resins; polymethyl methacrylate and other methacrylate resins; polyacetal, PET, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyarylate, polycyclohexylenedimethyl Polyesters such as terephthalate, hydroxybenzoic acid polyester, polycarbonate and polyether carbonate; polyamides such as nylon 6 and nylon 66; trifluorochloroethylene resin Hexafluoro ethylene propylene resin, a fluorine-based resin such as ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer; polyallyl sulfone, thermoplastic polymers such as polyether imide.
[0008]
The polymer composition for metal rust prevention of the present invention is prepared by mixing the polymer and slaked lime as described above using a mixer such as a mixing roll, a Banbury mixer, a kneader, or a Henschel mixer, and then mixing the polymer using a twin screw extruder or the like. Although it is kneaded with slaked lime in the molten state and granulated into pellets, the method for producing the composition is not particularly limited. Slaked lime is used in a ratio of 0.02 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polymer. If the amount is too small, the rust prevention effect cannot be obtained. If the amount is too large, the rust prevention effect is saturated, which is uneconomical. Preferably it is 1-20 weight part.
[0009]
Note that slaked lime generates water when the mixing or kneading temperature is 100 ° C. or higher, and a molded body using the resulting composition may foam and a good molded body may not be obtained. OH) 2) you a combination of quick lime (CaO) together. Quick lime absorbs moisture from slaked lime and turns into slaked lime. In this case, quicklime is used in a proportion of 0.1 to 40 parts by weight, preferably 1 to 10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of slaked lime. Further, if necessary, processing aids such as fillers and lubricants, colorants, stabilizers and the like can be appropriately added to the composition.
[0010]
In order to carry out rust prevention of a metal using the polymer composition for metal rust prevention of the present invention, a molded body is formed using the composition, and the metal is covered with the molded body. The type of the molded body and the method of covering the metal with the molded body are not particularly limited, and any method may be used as long as the metal is covered with the molded body. Further, the metal and the molded body are not necessarily in close contact with each other. For example, a method of putting metal in a bag made of a film or a sheet as a molded body and heat-sealing the opening part (if the film or sheet is stretched uniaxially or biaxially, it can be heat-shrinked); A method of wrapping metal with a film or sheet as a seal and sealing the opening with heat seal or adhesive tape, etc .; forming a container with a lid that can hold metal as the molded body (the shape is arbitrary), and placing the metal in this A method of sealing the lid and the container main body with an adhesive tape or the like; coating the inner surface of a lidded container made of a material other than the composition of the present invention with a sheet formed of the composition of the present invention, And sealing with an adhesive tape or the like. In addition, a method of applying a paint using a metal composition for metal rust prevention to a metal surface and directly forming a coating film on the metal surface is also used.
[0011]
The metal in the present invention includes a metal material such as a steel material, a processed product of the metal material (for example, a product such as a pipe before plating or painting, various parts and an assembly thereof). The metal material includes other metals such as iron, copper, and aluminum.
[0012]
【Example】
Next, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to examples and comparative examples. Parts and ratios in the following text are based on weight.
[0013]
Example 1 and Comparative Example 1
According to the following formulation (Table 1), each component was kneaded and pelletized with a 45 mm twin screw extruder.
The pellets and low density polyethylene were mixed and kneaded at a ratio of 20:80 using a tumbler, and the resulting composition of the present invention was formed into a film having a thickness of 0.05 mm by an inflation extruder.
[0014]
[0015]
The film was heat sealed to produce a 20 cm × 40 cm bag. For comparison, a bag was made using only low density polyethylene.
These bags were filled with carbon steel for mechanical structure (5 cm × 10 cm × 0.5 cm plate pieces washed and degreased with acetone) as a metal material, and heat sealed. A tin-plated plate was placed in another bag. These bags were placed in a constant temperature and humidity chamber at 50 ° C. and 95% RH, and the number of days until rust was observed was observed. The observation results are shown in Table 2.
[0016]
From the results in Table 1, it can be seen that a remarkable rust prevention effect can be obtained by a low density polyethylene bag containing slaked lime.
[0017]
【The invention's effect】
According to the above present invention, non-toxic, easy to handle a non-volatile, and less expensive metal by housing the metal in a bag formed of a polymer composition or the like comprising a corrosion inhibitor rust is A polymer composition for metal rust prevention that is significantly suppressed is provided.
