Description
本発明は、粒状被検査物の状態判別装置に係り、特に、粒状の被検査物の水浸割粒を判別する粒状被検査物の状態判別装置に関する。 The present invention relates to a state inspection device for a granular inspection object, and more particularly, to a state determination device for a granular inspection object for determining a water immersion split particle of a granular inspection object.
粒状被検査物、例えば白米等の穀粒(以下、白米という)は、一般的に炊飯することで主食として食されるものである。炊飯が良好になされるための白米の条件は、炊飯前の水への浸漬中又は炊飯中に白米が割れないことにある。 A granular inspection object, for example, a grain such as white rice (hereinafter referred to as white rice) is generally eaten as a staple food by cooking rice. The condition of white rice for good cooking is that the white rice does not break during immersion in water before cooking or during cooking.
すなわち、白米が割れると、その割れ部からゲル状の澱粉粒が溶出し、べとついた状態で炊き上がり、食感も悪く、味覚も低下する。 That is, when white rice is cracked, gel-like starch granules are eluted from the cracked portion, cooked in a sticky state, poor in texture, and poor in taste.
割れ部が発生した白米(割粒米)は、米の発育環境や精米の仕方に起因するため、精米業者は、割れにくい米の仕入れと、割れにくい精米の仕方に神経を尖らせているのが現状であるが、それでも、割粒が混入する可能性がなくなることはなく、仕入れ後或いは精米後の検査が必須となっている。 White rice (broken rice) with cracks is caused by the growth environment of rice and the method of milling rice, so rice millers are keen on the purchase of rice that is hard to crack and the method of milling that is hard to crack. However, there is still no possibility that the broken grains are mixed, and inspection after purchase or after milling is indispensable.
従来の割粒米の判別検査は、精米中に所定量(約100粒程度)の白米をサンプリングし、当該サンプリングした白米を所定時間(約20分間程度)水に浸漬し、その後の割れ具合を目視で判断し、サンプリングした白米に対する割粒米の割合を求め、この割合を基準値と比較することで、サンプリングした白米を含むロット(同時期に同一場所から仕入れた米)の合否を決定していた。 In the conventional discrimination inspection of cracked rice, a predetermined amount (about 100 grains) of white rice is sampled in the polished rice, the sampled white rice is immersed in water for a predetermined time (about 20 minutes), and the subsequent cracking condition is determined. Judging by visual inspection, the ratio of the split rice to the sampled white rice is obtained, and by comparing this ratio with the reference value, the pass / fail of the lot containing the sampled white rice (rice from the same place at the same time) is determined. It was.
不合格となったロットは、合格品とは別扱いするか、精米を再調整する等の対応が必要となる。 The rejected lot needs to be handled separately from the accepted product, or the milled rice must be readjusted.
また、穀粒の状態の良否を自動的に判別する技術として、穀粒の仕上がり状態をCCDカメラ等で撮像した画像に基づいて、種子の色、大きさ、形状等を判別する選別装置が提案されている(特許文献1)。
しかしながら、上記従来の検査員等の目視による判別では、正確な水浸割粒の判別、水浸割粒の割合の算出、及び合否の判定ができず、検査作業の手間も掛かり、作業性が悪い、という問題がある。 However, the above-described conventional visual inspection by an inspector, etc., cannot accurately determine the water-soaked broken grains, calculate the ratio of water-soaked broken grains, and determine whether or not the product is acceptable. There is a problem of being bad.
また、特許文献1に記載の技術では、水浸によって発生する割粒の判別には対応しておらず、炊飯によって発生する(すなわち、水を含むことで発生する)割れ部を検知するものではない。
Moreover, in the technique of
更に、白米が接触している場合や小さなゴミが付着している場合に、従来の方法では原画像を反転2値化し、縮退処理及び膨張処理した画像から輪郭を抽出しているが、水浸割粒の判別の基となる穀粒の輪郭を正確に抽出できず、水浸割粒の割れを見落として、誤判別するおそれがあり、特に、水浸割粒の小さな割れを見落としてしまう、という問題があった。 Furthermore, when white rice is in contact or small dust is attached, the conventional method inverts the original image and extracts the contour from the image that has been subjected to the degeneration and expansion processing. It is impossible to accurately extract the outline of the grain that is the basis for discrimination of split grains, and there is a risk of overlooking cracks in water-immersed split grains, and in particular, overlooking small cracks in water-soaked split grains. There was a problem.
本発明は、上記問題点を解決するためになされたもので、原画像を反転2値化し、縮退処理及び膨張処理した画像から輪郭を抽出する従来の方法を改善することにより、水浸割粒の誤判別をなくし、水浸割粒の小さな割れをも検出できる粒状被検査物の状態判別装置を提供することを目的とする。 The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-described problems. By substituting an original image into an inverted binary image and improving the conventional method of extracting a contour from an image that has been subjected to a reduction process and an expansion process, An object of the present invention is to provide a state inspection device for a granular inspection object that can detect even small cracks of water-immersed broken grains.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus for determining a state of a granular inspection object, wherein the granular inspection object is immersed in a first image generation means for generating a grayscale image, and an image for inverting the grayscale of the grayscale image. The reversing means, the contour of the granular inspection object including cracks of the granular inspection object based on the gray image, and the contour extracting means for generating a contour image; Image binarization means for binarizing the inverted image and the contour image to generate an inverted binary image and a contour binary image, and generating an image composed of pixels obtained by removing the contour binary image from the inverted binary image Second image generation means that performs the above-mentioned, and water immersion split particle determination means that determines the water immersion split grains of the granular inspection object based on the image generated by the second image generation means. .
In the granular object inspection state discriminating apparatus according to the first aspect of the invention, the first image generation means images the water-immersed granular inspection object to generate a grayscale image, and the image inversion means changes the density of the grayscale image. The contour extracting means extracts the contour of the granular inspection object including cracks of the granular inspection object based on the grayscale image, and generates a contour image. Then, the image binarization unit binarizes the inverted image and the contour image whose density has been inverted by the image inverting unit, and generates an inverted binary image and a contour binary image. The second image generation means generates an image composed of pixels obtained by removing the contour binary image from the inverted binary image. Next, the water splitting particle discriminating unit discriminates the water immersion splitting particle of the granular inspection object based on the image generated by the second image generating unit.
Therefore, according to the state inspecting device for a granular inspection object according to the first aspect of the present invention, by generating an image composed of pixels obtained by removing the binary contour image from the inverted binary image representing the granular inspection object portion, the contour is detected. Can be extracted accurately and clearly, and misidentification of water-immersed broken grains can be prevented. Furthermore, it is possible to discriminate the water splitting particles of the granular test object based on the image in which the cracks of the water splitting grains of the granular test object have become larger by the number of pixels removed as described above. Since it is possible to detect even small cracks in the water-immersed split grains of the object, it is possible to improve the discrimination accuracy of the water-split split grains.
画像2値化手段は、濃淡を反転した反転画像を第1の閾値に基づいて2値化して、反転2値画像を生成する反転画像2値化手段と、輪郭画像を第2の閾値に基づいて2値化して、輪郭2値画像を生成する輪郭画像2値化手段とを含むことができる。 The image binarization unit binarizes the inverted image obtained by inverting the density based on the first threshold value, and generates an inverted binary image. The image binarization unit generates the inverted image based on the second threshold value. And a contour image binarization means for binarizing and generating a contour binary image.
輪郭抽出手段は、ラプラシアン・フィルタ処理により濃淡画像から粒状被検査物の割れを含めた粒状被検査物の輪郭を抽出することができる。ラプラシアン・フィルタ処理によって、粒状被検査物の輪郭を強調することができる。 The contour extraction means can extract the contour of the granular inspection object including cracks of the granular inspection object from the grayscale image by Laplacian filter processing. The outline of the granular inspection object can be enhanced by the Laplacian filter processing.
また、水浸割粒判別手段は、第2の画像生成手段により生成した画像を縮退化した画像に基づいて、粒状被検査物の水浸割粒を判別することができる。生成手段により生成した画像を縮退させることにより、水浸割粒の割れを強調した画像に基づいて粒状被検査物の水浸割粒の判別をすることができる。 Further, the water-immersed cracking particle discriminating means can discriminate the water-immersed cracked grain of the granular inspection object based on the image obtained by degenerating the image generated by the second image generating means. By degenerating the image generated by the generating means, it is possible to determine the water-immersed split particles of the granular inspection object based on the image in which cracks in the water-immersed split particles are emphasized.
As described above, according to the state inspection device for a granular inspection object of the present invention, an image including pixels obtained by excluding the pixels corresponding to the pixels of the contour portion of the contour image from the pixels of the image representing the granular inspection object. By generating, even if there are contact particles or small dust is attached, the contour can be extracted accurately and clearly to prevent misidentification of water-immersed split particles, and it corresponds to the pixels of the contour part It is possible to discriminate the water splitting particles of the granular inspection object based on the image in which the cracks of the water immersion broken grains of the granular inspection object are larger by the amount excluding the pixels to be processed. Since even small cracks in the grains can be detected, the effect of improving the discrimination accuracy of the water-soaked broken grains can be obtained.
以下、本発明の実施の形態について図面を参照して説明する。本実施の形態は、白米の水浸割粒の有無及びその割合を算出する白米の状態判別装置に本発明を適用したものである。 Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 上記水66を貯留し白米56を載置したトレイ72を約20分間放置させ、白米56に十分な水分を吸収させる。その後、カバー46を開放し、トレイ72を透明ガラス板30上に載置し、カバー46を閉止する。
The
次に、図5に示す判別プログラムのルーチンをコントローラ18が実行する。
Next, the
First, when an operation for prompting the start of imaging (photometry) is performed, in
ステップ102では、図6に示す画像処理を行なう。
In
まず、ステップ108では、測定した測光データを濃淡画像に変換する。そして、ステップ110で、この濃淡画像の濃淡を反転させた反転画像を生成し、ステップ112で、所定の濃度閾値に基づいて、反転画像を2値化して図8(A)に示すような反転2値画像を生成する。
First, in
ステップ114では、ラプラシアン・フィルタ処理により、ステップ108で得られた濃淡画像に対して白米56の輪郭を抽出して輪郭画像を生成し、ステップ116で、所定の濃度閾値に基づいてこの輪郭画像を2値化させて、図8(B)に示すような輪郭2値画像を生成する。
In
そして、ステップ118では、図7に示す合成処理により、ステップ112で得られた反転2値画像とステップ116で得られた輪郭2値画像を合成する。
In
ここで、反転2値画像I2と輪郭2値画像IEと合成画像Imとは、画素数がX×Yであり、画素値I2(x,y)、IE(x,y)、及びIm(x,y)(0≦x<X、0≦y<Y)は、例えば、白又は黒で表されている。 Here, the inversion and the composite image I m binary image I 2 and the contour binary image I E, the number of pixels is X × Y, the pixel value I 2 (x, y), I E (x, y) , And I m (x, y) (0 ≦ x <X, 0 ≦ y <Y) are represented by white or black, for example.
まず、ステップ132では、I2(0,0)が黒であるか否かを判定する。判定が否定されるとステップ134へ移行するが、判定が肯定されると、ステップ136でIE(0,0)が黒であるか否かを判定する。判定が否定されると、ステップ134へ移行するが、判定が肯定されると、ステップ138でIm(0,0)を黒に設定し、ステップ140へ移行する。
First, in
In
次に、図6のステップ120で、合成画像の縮退化処理が実行される。例えば、Im(x,y)が白である場合、周辺画素の画素値Im(x−1,y−1)、Im(x−1,y)、Im(x−1,y+1)、Im(x,y−1)、Im(x,y+1)、Im(x+1,y−1)、Im(x+1,y)、Im(x+1,y+1)を全て白に設定することにより、合成画像を縮退化し、合成縮退画像を生成する。これにより、図9(A)に示す画像を縮退化させて図9(B)に示す画像を生成し、白米部分の周辺についたごみなどを取り除くことができ、また、白米56の割れを強調することができる。また、1回の縮退処理でごみが取り除けない場合には、上記の縮退処理を数回行なう。
Next, in
そして、ステップ122において、合成縮退画像から輪郭を抽出し、画像処理を終了する。なお、輪郭を抽出する際に、ノイズ処理を同時に行なうことが好ましい。
In
Here, the method for separating white rice in contact according to the embodiment of the present invention is compared with a processing method for performing degeneration processing and restoration processing on an inverted binary image as shown in FIG. explain. When extracting the contour, it is necessary to separate the white rice that is in contact with individual white rice. However, in the processing method that performs the degeneration process and the restoration process, the inverted binary image is used until the white rice that is in contact is separated. The degeneration process is repeatedly performed and separated, and then the labeling is performed to restore the shape by the expansion process. Depending on the shape of the white rice, this degeneration process may cause the contour shape of the separated portion of the white rice to be distorted, and when this distorted white rice is expanded, the contour shape of the obtained white rice It may become a distorted shape and may cause misidentification of water-immersed broken grains.
On the other hand, in the embodiment of the present invention, processing by a Laplacian filter is performed without performing degeneration processing. Since this Laplacian filter is a differential filter, an amplitude is generated where there is a color change, and the contour of white rice can be enhanced while maintaining the original white rice shape. In addition, the
Next, in
なお、水浸割粒の判別方法は上記の方法に限定されるものではなく、例えば、白米の周囲長と白米の面積とを比較することにより水浸割粒の有無を判別してもよい。 The method for discriminating water-soaked broken grains is not limited to the above method. For example, the presence or absence of water-soaked broken grains may be discriminated by comparing the circumference of white rice with the area of white rice.
次のステップ106では、LCDモニタ18Aへの表示を制御し、プリント指示があった場合にプリンタ20でのプリントを制御して、判別結果を出力し、判別プログラムのルーチンを終了する。
In the
As described above, the discriminating apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention accurately and clearly extracts the contours of white rice by performing Laplacian filter processing without reducing the contacted white rice. It is possible to prevent misidentification of water-soaked broken grains due to white rice in contact. In addition, the inverted binary image and the contour binary image are combined to generate a composite image including pixels obtained by excluding the pixels corresponding to the contour portion pixels of the contour binary image from the white rice portion pixels of the inverted binary image. As a result, it is possible to extract a contour that greatly emphasizes the cracking of the water-immersed broken grains by the number of pixels excluding the above. Further, by degenerating the composite image, it is possible to further emphasize the cracking of the broken grains due to immersion, and it is possible to erase small dust attached to the contour. Therefore, the contour of white rice can be accurately extracted, and even small cracks in water-immersed cracked grains can be detected, so that the accuracy of discriminating water-soaked broken grains can be improved.
