【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a digital camera applied to a system that displays and stores captured images outside without a personal computer, and more particularly to an interface for processing displayed image data.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Digital cameras can be used rapidly because they can be played back on the display means of the camera body on the spot and the photographer can process and edit the images by importing the image data into a personal computer. It is growing.
[0003]
By the way, for image processing and editing, use a dedicated software after connecting the digital camera to a PC or setting a recording medium with image files recorded on the PC and transferring the image data to the PC. It is necessary to do it. Therefore, if you do not have a suitable computer at hand, or if the required image processing software is not installed, or if you cannot find any accessories such as an interface cable, you will not be able to process or edit the image. There is a problem that it is possible and difficult for a user unfamiliar with the operation of the personal computer.
[0004]

FIG. 11 shows a screen display example at that time. FIG. 11 is a schematic diagram showing a display screen of a display of a digital camera, which is a mode for trimming a selected image. Also in this case, since the icon of the illustration of “scissors” indicating the trimming mode is displayed on the upper right of the screen, it can be easily identified that the mode is the trimming execution mode. In addition, a small arrow blinks on the left side of the screen to indicate the start position of trimming (edge cutting). 【The invention's effect】
According to the digital camera of the present invention, since the icon indicating the type of image processing is displayed on the display means of the camera, the operator can easily grasp the content of the process to be executed. In addition, since the image processing can be executed by the movement of the camera housing instead of the operation by various switches, it seems that the image processing is actually performed with the displayed processing tool (for example, trimming “scissors”). It is possible to operate with a simple feeling. As described above, since the image processing can be performed intuitively and easily, it is not necessary to memorize complicated processing operations as in the prior art.
[0040]
The digital camera system of the present invention does not require a dedicated personal computer for image processing, and can easily perform image processing even for an operator unfamiliar with personal computer operation. Furthermore, since there is no need for software for a personal computer or cables for connecting the personal computer and the digital camera body, there is no restriction that the availability of image processing is limited by the presence or absence of them.
