Description
【0001】

[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the drying operation method in which the unwinding operation and the tank rotary drying operation are repeated, the laundry stacked in the washing tub is broken and unwound by the rotation of the pulsator during the unwinding operation. However, at the time of the tank rotation drying operation, the unraveled laundry rotates with the laundry tub, but there is no movement that changes the shape in the laundry tub, and it is stacked and dried in a creased state. Go. If this operation is repeated from the start of drying to the end of drying, the folds of the stacked laundry during the tank rotation drying operation remain as wrinkles, resulting in a dry finish with many wrinkles.
[0004]
Therefore, the washing and drying machine described in the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-70288 performs only the releasing operation after the dryness reaches a predetermined value. By performing only the unraveling operation, the laundry frequently changes its shape, so that it is difficult for folds to remain on the laundry and wrinkles can be reduced.
[0005]
However, since the number of times of stirring by the pulsator is increased, the elongated portions such as the sleeves are strongly twisted, and creased creases that are tightly squeezed remain. Moreover, since the frequency | count of agitation of a pulsator increases, the cloth damage of the laundry also becomes large.
[0006]
An object of the present invention is to solve such a conventional problem, and to provide a washing and drying machine capable of reducing wrinkles of laundry at the end of drying and also reducing fabric damage. .
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention divides the drying process into three or more stages in a drying process in which warm air is blown while rotating the laundry in one direction and a drying process in which the laundry is repeatedly released by rotating the pulsator. The wrinkling and fabric damage are reduced by frequently performing the unwinding operation at the intermediate stage as compared with the first half and the latter half.
[0008]
The unwinding operation at the intermediate stage is performed when the dryness of the laundry is between 85% and 95%.
[0009]
Further, the one-way rotation of the laundry is performed by rotating the laundry tank at a low speed in one direction so that relative movement does not occur between the rotation of the laundry tank or a state where the laundry tank is fixed. To do.

Next, how to move the laundry in such a drying process will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 3 is a flowchart of the control relating to the drying process in this embodiment. This control is executed by the
[0023]
In this embodiment, the drying process is divided into three stages according to the degree of progress of drying, and control is performed to improve the finish by reducing the generation of wrinkles and fabric damage by changing the way of moving the laundry. .
[0024]
First, a drying process is started (Step 201), the
[0025]
In the first stage of the drying process, first, the washing tub 4 is rotated in one direction, and hot air is blown uniformly over the surface of the laundry (tank rotation drying operation). This tank rotation drying operation is performed for about 3 to 5 minutes (Step 204). Next, the tank rotation is stopped, the
[0026]
In the second stage of the drying process, only the unwinding operation is performed while blowing warm air (Step 207). By performing this unraveling operation, the stacked laundry does not stay in a certain shape, and is stretched or shrunk, so that the crease hardly remains on the cloth and wrinkles are not easily generated. This unraveling operation is continued until a predetermined dryness B is reached. If the predetermined dryness B is reached, the process proceeds to the third stage (Step 208).
[0027]
In the third stage of the drying process, similarly to the first stage, the tank rotary drying operation (Step 209) for 3 to 5 minutes and the one or more unwinding operations (Step 210) are alternately repeated until a predetermined dryness C is reached. (Step211). By these operations, warm air is blown uniformly over the entire laundry, and dry spots are reduced. When the predetermined dryness C is reached, energization of the
[0028]
Next, the
[0029]
At the beginning of drying, the laundry is fully moist with plenty of moisture. In this state, even if it is bent for about 3 to 5 minutes, if it is stretched after that, the crease disappears, so that wrinkles are unlikely to occur. The first stage described above corresponds to the drying process in this state. On the other hand, the amount of moisture contained in the laundry is low at the end of drying. Even in this case, even if it is bent for about 3 to 5 minutes, if the bending is stopped, it returns to its original shape due to the restoring force of the cloth, and it becomes difficult to remain as wrinkles. The aforementioned third stage corresponds to the drying process in this state. In other words, wrinkles of clothes are generated in the process of being dried while being folded in a state of moderately moisture. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the generation of wrinkles by frequently moving the laundry so as to change the shape of the laundry, and the fabric damage is also reduced.
[0030]
Using the period of the second stage as a parameter, drying experiments of various clothes as laundry were conducted, and the state of wrinkling at the time when drying was completed was observed. In each experiment, the dryness of the clothing at the beginning of the second stage (expressed by Equation 1) and the dryness at the end of the second stage were measured. A number of experiments were conducted to investigate the period of time during which the garment wrinkles less after drying and the measured dryness at the beginning and end of the second stage. As a result, the dryness at which wrinkles are reduced has values of about 85% and 95%, respectively, although there is some variation depending on the type of clothing.
[0031]
That is, it can be said that the dryness in a state of moderately containing moisture is about 85% to 95%. The type of clothing is represented by cloth quality. The dryness value varies depending on the quality of the cloth.
[0032]
The dryness A used for the determination of the transition to the second stage is good about 85%, and the dryness B used for the end of the second stage is good about 95%. Wrinkling can be greatly reduced. As described above, it is desirable to change this value slightly before and after depending on the fabric quality.
[0033]
In addition, since the second half of the drying process stops the continuous disassembly and operation, the number of agitation can be reduced, and long and narrow parts such as sleeves are not strongly twisted. It is possible to reduce the occurrence of wrinkles on the folds. Moreover, cloth damage can be reduced.
[0034]
The dryness that distinguishes each stage is set as follows. FIG. 4 shows an example of dryness change in the drying process. Incidentally, dryness is defined by the following equation.
[0035]
Degree of dryness (%) = dry weight / composition weight × 100 (Equation 1)
Here, the dry weight refers to a temperature of 20 ± 2 ° C. after complete drying (when the mass is measured at intervals of 10 minutes and the mass change is 1.0% or less). The weight measured after being left in air with a humidity of 60 to 70%.
[0036]
In the example shown in FIG. 4, the dryness of the laundry when dehydration is finished is about 65%, and the drying starts from this state. The drying progresses with time, and the dryness increases, and the dryness reaches about 108%. If so, finish drying. For such a change in dryness, the dryness A for determining the end of the first stage is about 85% based on the above-mentioned grounds. Further, the dryness B for determining the end of the second stage is about 95%. The degree of dryness for determining the end of the third stage (end of the drying process) is about 108%. That is, the dryness is between 85% and 95% as the second stage, and only continuous operation is performed.
[0037]
As shown in
[0038]
The means for detecting the dryness can be realized by using a

Another means for detecting the dryness can be realized by using a
[0040]
In the unlocking operation, most of the load on the motor 6 is laundry, and the rotation of the motor 6 is affected by this mass. At the beginning of drying, the laundry contains a lot of moisture, and has a large mass, that is, a large load. As the drying proceeds, the moisture is removed, so that the mass, that is, the load amount decreases. For this reason, for example, when the motor 6 is driven at the same voltage for a predetermined time, the rotation angle or rotation speed at the beginning of drying increases as the drying proceeds.
[0041]
FIG. 6 shows the result of counting the number of pulses from the
[0042]
Observing FIG. 6, it can be seen that the number of pulses from the
[0043]
However, when the number of pulses from the
[0044]
Furthermore, since the load amount of the motor 6 is also proportional to the amount of laundry put into the washing tub 4, it is desirable to normalize the above-described pulse count number with the amount of laundry put into the laundry. For example, the above-described pulse count is normalized to a value per 1 kg of laundry and used for determination. For this, a value obtained by cloth amount sensing for obtaining the amount of washing water and the amount of detergent required at the beginning of washing may be used. The cloth amount sensing is to detect the cloth amount based on the rotation speed when the motor 6 is operated for a predetermined time to rotate the
[0045]
When drying is performed following washing, a method of normalizing with the amount of cloth can be applied, but when only drying is performed, it is difficult to apply the normalization method. Therefore, in this case, it is desirable to adopt the following method.
[0046]
The pulse count number at the beginning of drying is stored as K0, and the pulse count number at each point in the drying process is normalized by this K0, or the difference from this K0 is obtained, and the pulse count number is the initial value of drying. This is a method of eliminating the influence of the cloth amount by making it relative. The determination in the control flowchart may be replaced with this relative value.
[0047]
Further, the cloth amount sensing can be performed not by counting the number of pulses but also by a method of measuring the pulse width or the pulse time interval immediately after the power supply to the motor 6 is stopped. This is equivalent to measuring the amount of load that affects the back electromotive force of the motor 6.
[0048]
Further, as another means for switching the drying process, a configuration (time management control) for simply switching based on the elapsed drying time may be employed. Since the time required for drying greatly depends on the amount of cloth, which is the amount of laundry, the amount of laundry is grasped by sensing the amount of cloth at the beginning of washing or at the beginning of drying, and the time distribution of the drying process is determined. For this purpose, the relationship between the elapsed drying time and the degree of drying for each amount of cloth is grasped in advance and the information is stored in the microcomputer 20a. And as mentioned above, when performing the drying process of the laundry of various cloth amounts, the optimal time and the continuation time for shifting to a 2nd step are grasped | ascertained. This optimal time is the time when the dryness is 85% to 95%. What is necessary is just to comprise so that operation | movement may be performed frequently only in the time slot | zone. Specifically, the second stage start time information and the second stage duration information are stored in the ROM of the microcomputer 20a in the form of a conversion table for each amount of cloth, and this is read and controlled. Configure to use.
[0049]
FIG. 9 shows a flowchart of control in this modification.
When the drying process is started (step 201), first, cloth amount sensing (step 1001) is performed. Then, based on the result of the cloth amount sensing, the second stage start time information and its duration information are read from the conversion table stored in advance (Step 1002). After that, a timer is started (Step 1003), and while monitoring the elapsed time, similarly to the control flowchart shown in FIG. 3, the operation is interpreted as the tank rotation drying operation (Step 204) (Step 205). Thereafter, the timer value is compared with the start time (Step 1004). If the start time has not been reached, the above operation is repeated. If the start time has been reached, the second stage is entered.
[0050]
In the second stage, the timer is started in the same manner, and the solving operation (Step 207) is performed while monitoring the elapsed time. Thereafter, the timer value is compared with the duration (Step 1005), and if the duration has not been reached, the above operation is repeated. If the duration has been reached, the third stage is entered.
[0051]
Since the method described above can be executed simply and without a sensor by time management control, it can be realized at low cost.
[0052]
In addition to sensing the amount of cloth in the initial stage of drying, it can be modified to increase the estimation accuracy of the amount of cloth by using it together with sensing the amount of cloth in the dry cloth before washing.
[0053]
Further, as described above, in addition to the switching of the drying process based on the humidity, the number of revolutions, and the time table, the output of the
[0054]
Further, the drying process may be switched by referring to the humidity, the rotation speed, the time table, and the temperature as correction information.
[0055]
Specifically, such a modification is realized by configuring the stage so as to advance the stage with reference to the correction information at any time in the process of executing the time management control based on the elapsed time.
[0056]
FIG. 7 is a flowchart of the control relating to the drying step in the second embodiment of the present invention. Also in this embodiment, as in the first embodiment, the laundry dryer illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 is used, and the drying process is divided into three stages to change the operation of the laundry. And it is embodiment which reduces the frequency of stirring operation in the 2nd step where wrinkle is fixed, and suppresses a fabric damage.
[0057]
In the first stage, the tank rotary drying operation (Step 204) for 3 to 5 minutes and the one or more unwinding operations (Step 205) are repeated until a predetermined dryness A is reached as in the first embodiment.
[0058]
In the second stage, the tank rotary drying operation time is made shorter than that in the first stage and is performed for 30 seconds to 1 minute (Step 701). Thereafter, the solving operation (Step 207) is performed. These operations are repeated until a predetermined dryness B is reached as in the first embodiment.
[0059]
In the third stage, similar to the first stage, the tank rotary drying operation (Step 209) for 3 to 5 minutes and the one or more unwinding operations (Step 210) are repeated until a predetermined dryness C is reached.
[0060]
By doing in this way, since the continuous releasing operation | movement like 1st Embodiment is not performed in a 2nd step, the frequency | count of stirring can reduce and cloth damage can be suppressed.
[0061]
FIG. 8 is a flowchart of the control relating to the drying process in the third embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, similarly to the above-described embodiment, the laundry dryer shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is used, and the drying process is divided into three stages to change the operation of the laundry.
[0062]
In the first stage, the tank rotation drying operation (Step 204) for 3 to 5 minutes and the one or more disassembly operations (Step 205) are repeated until a predetermined dryness A is reached.
[0063]
In the second stage, the rotator drying operation is not performed, and the
[0064]
In the third stage, the tank rotary drying operation (Step 209) for 3 to 5 minutes and the one or more unwinding operations (Step 210) are repeated until a predetermined dryness C is reached, as in the first stage.
[0065]
In the second embodiment, the second stage is a tank rotation drying operation for 30 seconds to 1 minute, and the operation is repeated. In this case, the
[0066]
In the first and third stages of this embodiment, the operation is combined with the tank rotation drying operation similarly to the second embodiment, but the present invention is not limited to this. It is obvious that the tank rotary drying operation in the first and third stages may be changed to the pulsator one-way rotation operation as in the second stage. In this way, it is possible to further suppress the wear of the clutch switching movable part and the noise generation due to the switching operation.
[0067]
【The invention's effect】
In the drying process in which the operation of blowing warm air while rotating the laundry in one direction and the operation of rotating the pulsator to unwind the laundry are repeatedly performed in the first half, the middle, and the second half. The intermediate stage is divided into three stages, and the operation is performed more frequently than in the first half and the second half, so that generation of wrinkles can be reduced and fabric damage can be reduced.
[0068]
In particular Since the intermediate stage is a process in which the degree of dryness is 85% to 95%, close to the end of drying, moderately containing water, and wrinkles are generated when it is dried in a folded state. Without rotating the washing tub By frequently performing the unwinding operation, the effect of achieving both the generation of wrinkles and the reduction of fabric damage becomes significant.
