Glcosθ=(phcosθ/ls){k((ls−ls0)+(p−h))}・・・(3)
Glcosθ=(phcosθ/ls){k(ls−ls0)+T)}・・・(4)
Glcosθ=(phcosθ/ls){k(ls−ls0)+T}・・・(5)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mechanical weight compensator that balances the gravity of operating arms of manipulators, robots, various work devices, and the like, and in particular, mechanical weight compensation that can be applied to rotational motions of three orthogonal axes in space. Relates to the device.
[0002]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In general, in an operating arm such as this type of manipulator, when the working arm is lifted, it is necessary to move the working arm against the gravity, so that output is required. Therefore, it is conceivable to keep the work arm in a predetermined position by an actuator or the like. However, the larger the work arm, the more the actuator having a higher output must be kept running in order to hold the work arm. There is a problem that it is not efficient, and such a working arm is not suitable for fine work.
[0003]
In order to solve such problems, a self-weight compensator using a spring member such as a tension coil spring has been proposed. As shown in FIG. 15, this self-weight compensator conceptually includes a

[0006]
If a simple structure using a spring member such as a coil spring can compensate for its own weight and provide a multi-degree-of-freedom working arm with three orthogonal rotating shafts in the space, the workability of these working arms It can be expected to improve (overloading weight, working speed) and reduce power consumption, and can be expected to develop a range of applications such as enabling more complicated and precise work.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of such a problem, and is a mechanical structure that can balance the gravity of the operating arm of a manipulator, robot, operating device, etc. with respect to the motion in a three-dimensional space with a simple structure. Claim4The mechanical self-weight compensator described is connected to a link having one end pivotally attached to a base, one end connected to an action point vertically above the link and a pivotal portion of the base, and the other end on the link. A mechanical member having a spring member connected to a reference point, wherein the link is provided with an operating body that changes in a fixed posture by rotation of the link, wherein the spring member is a tension spring; A constant load spring provided in parallel with the tension spring; and a parallel motion mechanism that moves the tension spring and the constant load spring in parallel. The elastic force of the constant load spring is a natural force of the tension spring. By setting so as to cancel the long parameter, the self-weight torque of the link and the operating body is compensated by the elastic force of the spring member without depending on the angle of the link. By adopting such a configuration, the constant load spring generates a constant tension regardless of the drive angle, so even if its own weight torque changes due to the rotation of the link, it exerts its own weight compensation torque according to that angle. Therefore, by setting the elastic force of the constant load spring based on the natural length parameter of the coil spring, the self-weight can be compensated regardless of the link angle, and three orthogonal axes in the space, that is, the pitch axis The working arm can have a high degree of freedom with respect to the yaw axis and the roll axis.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is a view conceptually showing a mechanical weight compensator according to a first embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1,
[0015]
In the mechanical weight compensator as described above, the reference point A is set such that the distance p between the reference point A and the pivot O and the distance h between the action point B and the rotation axis O are equal. . This is due to the following reasons. That is, the balance between the self-weight torque and the compensation torque by the coil spring is as follows. If the left side is the self-weight torque term and the right side is the self-weight compensation torque term by the coil spring, Glcosθ = (phcosθ / ls) {k (ls−ls0)}.
(Wherein, G is its own weight including the weight of the operating body, l is the distance from the rotation axis O to the center of gravity, ls is the length of the coil spring, and ls0 is the natural length of the coil spring.) The relationship needs to be established.
[0016]
In this equation, in order to perform accurate self-weight compensation regardless of the angle, both sides need to be expressed by constants that do not include θ. However, in equation (1), ls (spring length) is a non-linear parameter that depends on θ, and it is clear that the values on both sides do not become equal when the angle (θ) changes, and that it is not possible to balance it. is there. However, if ls0 can be canceled, this ls can be erased, and the values on both sides can be kept equal regardless of the angle, and it is understood that accurate self-weight compensation can be realized.
[0017]
Therefore, as a result of various studies by the present inventor, the idea is that the problem can be solved by devising a mechanism in which the distance from the rotation axis O to the reference point A can be regarded as a length equal to the deflection instead of the total length ls of the spring. The
In the above equation (2), the variable parameter ls on the right side can be eliminated, and accurate self-weight compensation can always be performed regardless of the angle.

If p is set to be larger than h in this way, it is impossible to set ls0 = 0 in the above-described equation (1), and the equation (1) cannot be balanced as it is, but in this embodiment, the rotation axis O is not balanced. In the initial state where no self-weight torque is applied (θ = 90 °), adjustment is performed by tensioning the
Glcos [theta] = (phcos [theta] / ls) {k ((ls-ls0) + (ph))} (3)
As a result, ls0 can be canceled, and can be rotated in the range of −180 ° ≦ θ ≦ + 180 ° regardless of the angle, and the self-weight compensation can be performed.

[0031]
The reason for adopting the link mechanism as described above is as follows. That is, in the self-weight compensation mechanism using a coil spring, (1) the installation point (action point) of the coil spring is positioned vertically above the rotation axis O serving as a drive shaft, and (2) the
[0032]
As described above, the self-weight compensation device for the bending rotational motion has been studied. However, an operating arm such as a manipulator that requires a wide movable area with a short link length needs torsional rotational motion. What can be done is equally effective. Even in the case of performing free compensation for torsional rotational motion in a multi-degree-of-freedom manipulator, (1) the installation point (action point) of the coil spring is located vertically above the rotational axis O serving as the drive shaft. (2) The requirement that the moment generated by the front link is not transmitted to the base must be satisfied. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 7 showing the sixth embodiment, one end of a

Although the mechanical weight compensation device of the present invention has been described with reference to the accompanying drawings, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made. For example, in the above embodiment, a linear wire is used as the connecting member, but depending on the weight of the device, a string, a rope, a thread, or a combination of these and a rigid member may be used.
