Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a PTT switch structure for a wireless communication device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 6, the casing 110 surrounding the apparatus main body is a state in which the front casing member 111 and the rear casing member 112 obtained by dividing the casing 110 into two at the side face each other on the opening side end surfaces. The wireless communication device 100 formed by assembling is commercially available.
In the case of the wireless communication device 100, a concave groove (not shown) having a substantially U-shaped cross section is drilled along the end surfaces which are the joining surfaces of the front casing member 111 and the rear casing member 112 so as to face the opening. The end surfaces of the casing member 110 and the rear casing member 112 are joined to each other so that an elastic sealing material (not shown) fits over both the concave grooves, and the casing 110 is joined from the joining surface of the front casing member 111 and the rear casing member 112. It has a waterproof structure that prevents water from entering inside (see Patent Document 1).
[0003]
By the way, although the wireless communication device 100 has a waterproof structure as described above, it cannot obtain a high waterproof performance such as JIS protection class 7 that has been required in recent years. That is, in the case of the wireless communication device 100, a part of the operation lever 120 of the PTT switch for operating the tact switch provided in the casing 110 is sandwiched between the front casing member 111 and the rear casing member 112. Since it is mounted in a state, a notch 140 is provided in the mounting portion of the operation lever 120 of the front casing member 111 and the rear casing member 112, and a part of the groove is cut. Therefore, a portion where the end surfaces of the front casing member 111 and the rear casing member 112 are not directly joined is formed in the vicinity of the mounting portion of the operation lever 120, the joining pressure becomes uneven, and high waterproof performance such as JIS protection class 7 is achieved. Can't get.
[0004]
In order to achieve higher waterproof performance, a wireless communication device 200 as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 has already been proposed. That is, in the wireless communication device 200, the front casing member 230 and the rear casing are mounted by mounting the operation button 220 from the outside of the rear casing member 210 in the recess 211 provided on the peripheral wall surface of the rear casing member 210. The member 210 is structured to be evenly joined over the entire circumference so as to ensure the waterproof performance satisfying JIS protection class 7.
[0005]
In the wireless communication device 200, the operation button 220 is integrally formed of an elastic material such as silicone rubber, and has a sheet-like elastic water stop portion 221 that fits into the recess 211, and the elastic water stop portion 221. The operation button 220 also serves as an elastic water-stopping material. Then, after the operation button 220 is arranged so that the elastic water stop 221 fits into the recess 211, the frame member 240 is exposed to the outside from the through hole 241 provided in the frame member 240. The frame member 240 is fixed to the rear casing member 210 with screws 250, the operation button 220 is attached to the rear casing member 210, and the tact switch provided on the bottom of the concave portion 211 with the operation button 220 The operation hole 260 is closed watertight to prevent water from entering the casing from the PTT switch portion.
[0006]
However, in such a structure of the PTT switch, the frame member 240 must be fixed to the rear casing member 210 using a fine screw 250, so that the assembling workability is poor. In addition, the screw 250 is screwed into the screw receiving portion of the rear casing member 21 in a state where the adhesive is applied, and is not loosened. However, when an impact is applied to the casing, the adhesive cracks. As a result, the screws 250 may be removed, and the waterproof performance may be hindered. Further, since the screws 250 are exposed on the surface of the casing, there is a slight problem in terms of product appearance. Furthermore, the recess 211 must be sized to fit not only the operation button 220 but also the frame member 240 into the casing member, and the mounting space for the PTT switch is considerably large, such as the screw receiving portion protruding into the casing. As a result, there was a limit to downsizing the casing.
