Description
The present invention relates to a frequency hopping signal detection apparatus that captures and detects a frequency hopping signal from an incoming radio wave propagating in space and demodulates the detected frequency hopping signal, and a radio wave monitoring system using the same.
In recent years, the number of illegal radio stations serving as sources of illegal radio waves has increased due to the spread of mobile phones, wireless LANs and the like. Such an increase in the number of illegal radio stations may interfere with the operation of regular radio stations, and may become a major social problem with the development of information communication technology in the future. On the other hand, efforts are being made to monitor and detect such illegal radio waves. For example, in wireless LANs and the like, a frequency hopping method (data) for the purpose of protecting transmission data from interception and eavesdropping by a third party. The communication method for spreading the spectrum by changing the frequency of the carrier wave for transmitting the signal at high speed with time is widely adopted, and radio wave monitoring of such a frequency hopping signal is not easy.
For example, when using a commonly used narrowband receiver for the purpose of monitoring the radio wave of a frequency hopping signal, it is necessary to follow the hopping frequency that randomly varies the tuning frequency of the receiver, It has been difficult to reliably receive individual frequency hopping signals (hereinafter referred to as chips).
On the other hand, it is possible to detect the hopping interval and hopping frequency of the frequency hopping signal by combining the fast Fourier transform circuit and the filter bank circuit without preparing the spreading code used on the transmission side in advance. Has been proposed.
However, the conventional frequency hopping signal detection device needs to determine the signal level, signal time length, etc. of the received frequency hopping signal anyway and determine whether or not the values match the threshold value prepared in advance. If the frequency hopping signal is affected by fluctuations in the reception level due to fading, interference interference, or propagation loss, or in a communication system using weak radio waves such as a wireless LAN, each chip of the frequency hopping signal However, there are many cases where these threshold values are not satisfied, and such a conventional method has a problem of erroneously detecting a frequency hopping signal, such as tuning to an unnecessary signal having a strong signal strength. It was.
In addition, a series of processing based on the threshold as described above and processing combining the fast Fourier transform circuit and the filter bank circuit are real-time corresponding to the carrier frequency switching speed of the frequency hopping signal (hereinafter referred to as frequency hopping speed). There is also a problem that it is difficult to cope with high-speed frequency hopping communication.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and the case where the frequency hopping signal is affected by fluctuations in reception level due to fading, interference interference, and propagation loss, or using weak radio waves. As described above, according to the present invention, the frequency hopping signal in the incoming radio wave is detected from the degree of coincidence (similarity) between the spectrogram image data of the incoming radio wave and the hopping pattern data of the frequency hopping signal held in advance. When frequency hopping signals are affected by fluctuations in reception level due to fading, interference interference and propagation loss, or in communication systems that use weak radio waves such as wireless LANs, frequency hopping signals are reliably supplemented and detected It can be carried out. In addition, since the received arriving radio waves are stored in the storage means, and the frequency hopping signal is extracted from the storage means, the frequency fluctuation range (jump width: partial band) of the frequency hopping signal extends over a wide band or high speed. It is possible to easily cope with the frequency hopping communication.
Next, the operation will be described. The reception signal received by the

The hopping pattern data of the frequency hopping signal held in the pre-holding means 7 can be rewritten, and a plurality and latest hopping patterns can be registered (held). Therefore, it is possible to flexibly cope with the appearance of a new frequency hopping signal hopping pattern. Note that it is not necessary to demodulate all frequency hopping signals detected by pattern matching, and all received signals are held (stored) in the

If the signal strength of the target incoming radio wave is weak, or the signal / noise ratio deteriorates due to fading, or jamming occurs from jamming / interfering waves in a direction different from the incoming direction of the incoming radio wave, the signal detection is more reliable. Therefore, it is effective to form the

As in the second embodiment, the third embodiment is a frequency hopping signal detection device having a plurality of
In the above embodiment, the case of monitoring voice communication adopting the frequency hopping method has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and for example, data communication or the like can be monitored.
