Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a hearing aid apparatus that prevents excessive hearing of environmental sound in a non-speech section and improves the ease of hearing of a sound in a speech section.
Hearing aids are devices that assist the hearing of people who have difficulty hearing. Conventional hearing aids uniformly amplify and output sound (sound emitted from the mouth to convey a will by humans) and sound other than sound. However, users of hearing aids sometimes feel uncomfortable because they can hear not only the other party's voice (sound) but also surrounding sounds (environmental sounds). For example, the sound of the dishes hitting each other when washing the dishes, the sound of dropping the dishes, etc. were very harsh to the hearing aid user.
The hearing aid disclosed in
However, humans have the property of feeling uncomfortable when there is a difference of 15 msec or more between the movement of the speaker's mouth and the voice of the speaker (the content of the speech). In addition, a user of a hearing aid usually listens to a speaker's speech while watching the movement of the speaker's mouth in order to grasp the content of the speaker's speech. Therefore, there is a problem that the user of the hearing aid described in
Therefore, in order to solve the above problem, the present invention prevents an environmental sound from being excessively heard in a non-voice section, and uses a sense of incongruity due to a difference between the movement of the speaker's mouth and the voice of the speaker. It is an object of the present invention to provide a hearing aid device in which the voice is appropriately amplified in the voice section and the ease of hearing is improved with little person holding.
The present invention has the following configuration as means for solving the above problems.

Buffer means for temporarily storing foreign sound data collected by the sound collecting means;
Writing means for writing to the buffer means while sequentially updating the data of the external sound collected by the sound collecting means;
Determining means for determining whether or not there is sound in the external sound data for a predetermined period stored in the buffer means;
When the determination means determines that there is sound, the external sound data immediately after the writing by the writing means is read from the buffer means, and when the determination means determines that there is no sound, the writing by the writing means The external sound data that has been determined by the determination unit after a certain period of time is read out, and the external sound data that is read from the buffer unit when the determination result of the determination unit changes from no sound to presence of sound Reading means that gradually shifts from writing to data immediately after writing;
Amplifying means for amplifying and outputting the external sound data determined by the determining means with the sound and the external sound data determined by the determining means with no sound at different amplification rates;
With
The amplifying means amplifies the external sound data while reducing the amplification factor at a predetermined rate up to the amplification factor for the external sound determined to have no sound when the determination result of the determining means changes from the presence of the sound to the absence of the sound. It is characterized by that.
In this configuration, in the hearing aid device, the external sound collected by the sound collecting means is temporarily stored in the buffer means, and when the external sound data for a certain period is accumulated in the buffer, the external sound data for the certain period is stored. It is read out and it is determined whether or not voice data (sound emitted from the mouth to convey the intention of human beings) is present in this data. If it is determined that there is no sound, the determined external sound data is read, and the external sound data is amplified and output. In addition, when it is determined that there is sound after the sound is detected and it is determined that there is sound, the external sound data read from the buffer means is gradually shifted to the data immediately after writing. If it is determined that there is still sound, the external sound data immediately after writing is read from the buffer means, and the external sound data is amplified with an amplification factor different from that when it is determined that there is no sound and then output. .
In addition, when the speaker finishes speaking and the external sound collected by the hearing aid device does not include any sound but only the environmental sound, the amplification factor of the external sound output from the hearing aid device is determined as no sound. In addition, the amplification factor for external sound can be reduced at a predetermined rate. Therefore, the hearing aid device gradually reduces the volume of the environmental sound at a predetermined rate when the sound is not detected for a while after detecting the sound, so that the user of the hearing aid device ends the voice of the speaker. Even if the hearing assistance device does not detect the sound, the foreign sound can be heard without feeling uncomfortable with the change in the volume of the external sound output from the hearing assistance device. In addition, the hearing aid device decreases the amplification rate of the external sound by a predetermined rate, so that the external sound suddenly starts immediately after a short interval in the voice interval, such as when the speaker resumes after a break for a while. Even if greatly amplified, the user of the hearing aid device does not feel noisy.
Therefore, the hearing aid apparatus determines whether or not the collected external sound includes sound, and amplifies the external sound with a different amplification factor according to the determination result, so that the determination means includes By setting the amplification factor of the amplification means so as to emphasize and output the sound included in the external sound data when it is determined that there is sound, the hearing aid device user can easily hear the sound. Can do. In addition, when the sound is detected after the determination of the absence of sound and the sound is determined to be present, the external sound data read from the buffer means is gradually shifted from the determined data to the data immediately after the writing. When the data shift is completed, the user of the assisting device can hear the amplified voice without feeling uncomfortable due to the movement of the mouth of the speaker and the voice. In addition, by setting so that the shift of the external sound data of the hearing aid device is completed quickly, the user of the hearing aid device feels uncomfortable due to the fact that the voice of the speaker's mouth is misaligned with the voice. I don't hold you.
(2) When the reading means shifts the external sound data read from the buffer means, the reading means includes speech speed conversion means for changing the speaking speed of the external sound data in accordance with the shift.
In this configuration, the hearing aid apparatus detects the sound after determining the absence of sound and determines the presence of the sound, and gradually shifts the external sound data read from the buffer means from the determined data to the data immediately after writing. Since the speech speed of the external sound data is changed during the course, it is possible to output without changing the voice pitch of the speaker. Therefore, the user of the hearing aid apparatus can hear the amplified voice without feeling uncomfortable.
(3) The reading means gradually shifts the external sound data read from the buffer means from the data immediately after writing to the determined data when the determination result of the determining means changes from the presence of sound to the absence of sound. It is characterized by.
In this configuration, when it is determined that there is no sound after the determination of the presence of sound and the sound section ends and only the environmental sound results in no sound, the external sound data read from the buffer means is converted to data for which sound has been determined. Shift gradually. Therefore, when the hearing aid apparatus does not detect the sound for a while, the external sound collected by the sound collecting means is temporarily stored in the buffer means, and the state is returned to a state where it is determined whether or not there is sound data in the external sound data. Can do.
(4) When the reading means shifts the external sound data read from the buffer means, the speaking speed conversion means changes the speaking speed of the external sound data in accordance with the shift.
In this configuration, when it is determined that there is no sound due to the end of the sound section after the determination of the presence of sound and only the environmental sound is determined, the speech speed conversion is performed on the external sound data read from the buffer means. Then, the external sound data read out from the buffer means is shifted to a sound whose presence or absence of sound has been determined. Therefore, when the hearing aid device does not detect the voice for a while, the time extension is performed as the speech speed conversion, so that the processed sound is heard naturally and the user of the hearing aid device does not feel uncomfortable.
( 5 ) When the determination means determines that there is a voice, it has a notification means for notifying that effect.
In this configuration, the user of the hearing assistance device can grasp that the sound is output from the hearing assistance device, so that the voice of the speaker can be heard from the beginning. Note that, as the notification means, a speaker that notifies the user of the hearing assistance device by sound, an LED that notifies by light, a vibration motor that notifies by vibration, and the like are suitable.
The hearing aid apparatus according to the present invention does not allow excessive environmental sounds to be heard in non-speech intervals, and there is almost no sense of incongruity due to the difference between the mouth movement of the speaker and the speech of the speaker. There is an advantage that the sound can be easily heard after being amplified.
Hereinafter, a hearing aid will be described as an example of a hearing aid apparatus. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a schematic configuration of a hearing aid. Here, in the following description, the voice refers to a sound emitted from the mouth in order to convey a will, and the environmental sound refers to a sound that does not include the voice.

Next, the configuration of the
The
The
The
なお、音声区間検出部24は、周知技術であるVAD(Voice Activity Detection:音声アクティビティ検出)、LPC分析、ケプストラム法などを用いて、音声が含まれているか否かの分析を行う。
The voice
The
The speech
The
When the sound detection signal is sent from the sound
Next, the overall operation of the
The
(1) The
At this time, in the
In addition, the
Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 3, when the speaker speaks from time t1 to time t3, the
(2) When the external sound data (frame) for 50 msec including the external sound data from
In addition, since the speaker's speech continues for a while and the state in which the sound is included in the external sound continues, the
(3) The speech
(4) When the speaker continues to speak and the state in which the sound is included in the external sound continues, the state in which the sound output from the
(5) When the voice
(6) In the
(7) When about 1 to 5 seconds have elapsed from the start of the speech speed conversion and the difference between the sound output from the
(8) Until the next voice section is detected, the ambient sound is amplified based on the set value of the environmental sound amplification factor approximately 100 msec after the external sound is collected by the
Further, the
Furthermore, when the speech
Since the
Here, as described in the above (2), when the voice
In the above description, the notification sound generation unit has been described as an example of notification means for notifying that sound is output. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and may be in other forms. good. For example, in the case of a glasses-type hearing aid or the like, an LED may be provided at a position where the user of the hearing aid can easily check, and this LED may blink to notify that a sound is output. In the case of an ear-hook type or pocket-type hearing aid, a vibration motor may be provided to notify that sound is output by vibration.
In the
Further, in the
In the above description, a hearing aid has been described as an example of an embodiment of a hearing aid, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, a device that outputs an image and sound of a speaker at the same time, such as a video phone, is built in with the hearing aid device of the present invention, and the sound is output depending on whether the sound output from this device is sound or not. It is preferable to adopt a configuration in which the gain of the voice is changed or the speech speed is converted. Thereby, the voice of the speaker can be emphasized, and the hearing impaired person can easily use this apparatus.
