Description
【0001】

According to the above configuration, the lower end position of the door extends to the lower end position of the side sill closed cross section, and thus the distance from the curved surface start position of the door outer panel that forms the exterior of the door to the door lower end position is increased. Since the curvature of the door outer panel can be reduced, the exterior shape of the bell-shaped vehicle body can be realized.
[0012]
In addition, since the door can completely cover the lower end of the side sill closed section, which has a large effect on the exterior of the vehicle body, the gap generated by the lower end of the side sill and the side sill and the side surface of the side sill are exposed laterally in the vehicle. This also makes it possible to achieve a smart and clean car body appearance.
[0013]
Further, in the lower side of the floor panel, in the vehicle side from the side sill, since the main frame is configured to extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle in the closed section shape along the side sill, the vehicle is in a collision from the front Even in the case of a normal collision or a rear collision, which is a collision from the rear, the received impact force is distributed to the side sill and the main frame, so that sufficient resistance to impact can be ensured.
[0014]
Further , the thickness in the vehicle vertical direction from the upper end portion to the lower end portion of the side sill closed cross section is thinner at least partially than the thickness in the vehicle vertical direction from the upper end portion to the lower end portion of the main frame closed cross section. Since it is configured to include a portion, the door sill closed section can be completely covered with the door without lowering the door lower end position, so when opening the door, the door lower end is The door can be opened sufficiently without interfering with the curb on the shoulder of the road, and a smart and clean car body appearance can be realized without deteriorating getting on and off.
[0015]
Between the main frame and the side sill, the closed section shape of the torque box which extends in the vehicle width direction are laterally placed, since the main frame and the side sill are connected by the torque box, I received in the main frame shock The load is distributed to the side sill via the torque box (reinforcing member), and the impact load received on the side sill is also distributed to the main frame via the torque box. Even if the vehicle is thinned, when the vehicle receives a frontal collision, a rearward collision, or a side collision that is a collision from the side, a sufficient proof strength can be ensured for the entire vehicle.
[0016]
Further, since the closed side of the torque box and the side surface of the door formed in the vertical direction of the vehicle in the interior of the door are disposed at a height position having overlapping portions in the vertical direction of the vehicle, When the impact is received, the impact load received by the door is distributed by the side sill and also distributed to the main frame via the torque box. Sufficient yield strength can be secured.
[0017]
In the second configuration of the present invention, the torque box is disposed in the vicinity of a position immediately below the seat position of the vehicle occupant.
[0018]
According to the above configuration, the load from the vehicle occupant applied to the floor surface is received by the torque box, and the received load is transmitted to the main frame and the side sill and dispersed. Sufficient yield strength can be secured .
[0019]
In the third configuration of the present invention, the side sill and the main frame are disposed so as to extend substantially parallel to the front-rear direction of the vehicle.
[0020]
According to the above configuration, when the vehicle receives a normal collision or a rear collision, the impact load received on the front part or the rear part of the vehicle is distributed and received by the main frame and the side sill. Sufficient yield strength is ensured against the rear impact.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, it is possible to realize a smart and clean car body appearance shape without deteriorating the boarding / exiting performance of the vehicle.
