Description
【0001】
MO=LZ×FY
MA=LY×WZ
M=MO−MA=LZ×FY−LY×WZ

[0011]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and is a novel device capable of reducing the manufacturing cost and significantly reducing the overall weight while securing an excellent function comparable to that of the conventional X-link. It aims to provide a suspension link.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, the first leaf spring piece and the second leaf spring piece face each other up and down to form a first I-shaped piece, and the first I-shaped piece is sandwiched therebetween. The third leaf spring piece and the fourth leaf spring piece are stacked in the up and down direction to form a second I-shaped piece, and each of the first and second I-shaped pieces is connected to each other. The first and second I-shaped pieces can be horizontally rotated around the pin by a pin passing through the crossing portion in the vertical direction by arranging the central portions in the longitudinal direction so as to cross each other. A pair of elastic brackets are mounted on the axle side so as to face each other at a required interval in the vehicle width direction and tilt inward in the vehicle width direction, and one end of each of the first and second I-shaped pieces And pivotally connected to the brackets, and first and The other end of each of the two I-shaped pieces is slidably connected to a frame in front of the vehicle from the axle, and the rolling center of the vehicle body determined by the tilting posture of each bracket is above the brackets and The present invention relates to a suspension link configured to be disposed below the center of gravity of the vehicle.
[0013]
Thus, in this way, an X-type suspension link can be configured simply by assembling the first to fourth leaf spring pieces that can be manufactured at low cost by using a normal leaf spring production process. Therefore, the manufacturing cost can be greatly reduced as compared with the case of manufacturing an X-shaped integrally molded product by forging.
[0014]
Further, if the height dimension of the first and second I-shaped pieces is set to be slightly larger than the height dimension of the cross-sectional shape of each arm portion of the conventional X-link, the space between the upper and lower leaf spring pieces is determined. Even if the total cross-sectional area is smaller than the cross-sectional area of each arm portion of the conventional X-link, the substantial secondary moment of moment (the geometrical bending of the beam cross-section relative to the bending moment) Since the numerical value representing the difficulty does not vary greatly, it is possible to significantly reduce the overall weight without causing a decrease in strength as compared with the X-link of an integrally formed product by forging.
[0015]
In particular, the first to fourth leaf spring pieces have higher toughness than ordinary plate materials, and the intersections of the first and second I-shaped pieces are rotatably connected by pins. It is devised so that shear stress does not act, so that each leaf spring piece has a structure that requires only a simple bending stress and is in a state of facing each I-type piece. And the rational arrangement is adopted so that when either one of the upper and lower sides is compressed and deformed, the other is pulled and deformed, so it is extremely reasonable under the conditions that ensure the same function as the conventional X-link. It is possible to reduce the weight.
[0016]
In addition, one end portion side of each I-shaped piece is slidably connected to the axle via a pair of elastic brackets, and the rolling center of the vehicle body is set to each tilting posture of each bracket. Since it is arranged above the bracket and below the position of the center of gravity of the vehicle, the position of the rolling center, which is the base point of rolling of the vehicle body, becomes higher than before, and the distance between the center of gravity of the vehicle becomes short, The anti-rolling moment acts during rolling, and the generation of the rolling moment is remarkably suppressed.
[0017]
If the generation of the rolling moment is remarkably suppressed in this way, the torsional moment that each I-type piece should bear in order to function as a stabilizer during cornering is greatly reduced. It becomes possible to further reduce the size and weight of the piece.
[0018]
Further, in the present invention, it is preferable that each bracket is tilted toward the rear of the vehicle, and the center of the compliance steer determined by the tilting posture of each bracket is arranged behind the axle. When cornering, when the reaction force acts on the ground contact part of the wheel from the road surface in the direction opposite to the centrifugal force, the compliance steer appears in the understeer tendency toward the turning side with respect to the vehicle center in the top view. The rollover steer is canceled by the compliance steer.
[0019]
In other words, regardless of the type of suspension that is generally used, the trail of the axle is set to lean backward from the viewpoint of improving riding comfort by reducing road impact input. If there is a lot of rolling and centrifugal force acts on the counter-turning side during cornering and rolling occurs, the turning side of the vehicle body rises against the axle and the anti-turning side sinks. While moving relatively downward and moving forward, on the counter-turning side where the body sinks, the axle is relatively raised on the rearward tilting track and displaced rearward, and the entire axle is turned counterclockwise with respect to the vehicle center in top view. Axle steer is generated by inclining toward the side, which tends to cause rollover steer that reduces the turning radius in the steering direction determined on the front side.
[0020]
Therefore, if rollover steer, which is a common problem with such existing suspensions, can be suppressed by setting compliance steer with an understeer tendency, it will be possible to make a significant contribution to improving steering stability during cornering. .

As a supplementary explanation, the rolling center when the conventional X link is adopted is a height position passing through the X-shaped intersection in the vehicle front-rear direction. The height of the V-shaped central bent end (rear end) passes through the vehicle in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. In either case, rolling is performed at a relatively low height close to the connection level to the

That is, as shown in FIG. 5, when a centrifugal force acting toward the counter-turning side during cornering and FY, the centrifugal force FY is because they act in an anti-turning side to the vehicle center of gravity G, that from the rolling center P O If the height dimension to the vehicle center of gravity G located above is LZ, the rolling moment MO for rolling the vehicle body is expressed by the following formula:
MO = LZ × FY
It is represented by

In FIG. 5, when the centrifugal force FY acts on the center of gravity G of the vehicle, the

It is represented by
[0036]
Therefore, the actual rolling moment M acting on the vehicle body when the vehicle turns is expressed by the following formula:
M = MO-MA = LZ × FY-LY × WZ
As a result, the rolling moment M is reduced, and an anti-rolling effect can be given to the vehicle body side.

And if the generation of the rolling moment is remarkably suppressed in this way, the torsional moment that each I-
