本発明は、このような従来の技術が有する問題点に鑑みなされたもので、海苔巻成形機等で成形した海苔巻を各角部がほぼ直角の四角柱状に圧縮するように構成することで既述寿司サンド用として好適に供給できる海苔巻プレス装置を提供することを目的とする。

【発明の効果】
本発明は、以上のとおり構成されるもので、次に述べるような効果を有する。
(1)前後両端を開放させた略コ字形状の海苔巻載置台に海苔巻を載置するので、当該海苔巻のセット作業が容易である。
(2)海苔巻セット後の載置台を後方へ押し込んだ際、海苔巻はその後部が押圧部材の後板下端に当接して押圧されると共に、載置台上の位置に中央の正確な位置に是正される。
(3)角部の角が取れて丸みをおびている海苔巻でも海苔巻載置台と成形部材とを噛合させることで六面を同時にプレスすることとなり、海苔巻寿司サンド用としてより完全な四角柱状の海苔巻が短時間で確実に成形できる。
