Description
The present invention relates to a boarding type robot. More specifically, the present invention relates to a technique for controlling the posture of a riding part of a boarding robot.
2. Description of the Related Art A boarding robot that has a boarding unit on which a person rides and walks with a leg link is known (for example, Patent Document 1) (hereinafter, “boarding robot” is referred to as “robot”).
When the robot walks using the leg link, the posture of the riding section changes and the riding comfort is poor. In addition, the robot may fall over when the toe is hooked on a protrusion on the ground or is in contact with another object. When the robot falls, the posture of the riding section changes.
The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide a robot capable of maintaining a constant posture of the riding section.
The robot of the present invention has a pair of leg links each having a riding section on which a person rides, a plurality of joints, and a walking actuator that drives each joint, and walks with the pair of leg links. And a roll axis actuator that changes the attitude of the riding section around the robot's traveling direction axis, a pitch axis actuator that changes the attitude of the riding section around the lateral axis of the robot, and a riding section around the traveling direction axis and the lateral axis It means for detecting a posture, and means for detecting whether the robot falls down, and a controller. The roll axis actuator and the pitch axis actuator utilize at least one of walking actuators including an ankle joint actuator, a knee joint actuator, and a hip joint actuator provided in a leg link. After the controller detects the fall in the front-rear direction,
(1) The roll axis actuator and the pitch axis actuator are controlled so that the attitude of the riding section about the traveling direction axis and the side axis detected by the attitude detection means is maintained horizontally, and (2) the ankle joint actuator To rotate the ankle joint in a direction in which the end on the riding section side of the lower leg link rotates upward, and the knee joint actuator is driven to move the upper leg link to the end on the riding section side. The fall speed of the riding section is slowed by rotating the knee joint in the direction in which the section rotates upward.
According to this robot, the controller can control the roll axis actuator and the pitch axis actuator after the fall is detected by the fall detection means, so that the posture of the riding section can be kept horizontal. Moreover, the landing shock of the riding section can be reduced by reducing the falling speed of the riding section.
In the robot described above, the roll axis actuator and the pitch axis actuator may be added separately from the walking actuator .
The main features of the embodiments described later will be described.
(1) The robot includes a leg portion including a right leg and a left leg, and a riding section provided on the leg portion. The right leg and the left leg have a hip joint, an upper leg connected to the hip joint, a lower leg connected to the upper leg by a knee joint, and a toe connected to the lower leg by an ankle joint.
(2) The boarding unit is equipped with a controller and a gyro for detecting the posture of the boarding unit. The controller processes the posture signal input from the gyro, and controls the joint angles of the right leg and the left leg so that the riding section maintains a horizontal posture while the robot is falling. The riding section maintained in a horizontal posture during the fall falls down in the same posture.
(3) The controller can also maintain the posture of the riding section horizontally when the robot is walking normally. If the posture of the riding section is kept horizontal, the rider will not be shaken with walking, so the ride comfort is improved.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the

3, the crotch z-axis

As shown well in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
As shown well in FIG. 2, the
As well shown in FIG. 1, the
The

The
As well shown in FIG. 2, the
When the
Moreover, it is preferable that the distance between the center of gravity of the
When the ankle joints 21 and 24 and the
In order to prevent the knee joints 20 and 25 and the
When the
As shown in FIG. 7, when the
As shown in FIG. 9, when the
As shown in FIG. 11, a
For example, the

When the
FIG. 16 illustrates a state where the
The rotation angle and the rotation timing of the drive mechanism of each joint of the
Control that slows the falling speed of the
A distance sensor for detecting the distance from the ground may be provided in the
Even if the
As shown in FIGS. 18 and 19, a seat joint 170 may be interposed between the

Specific examples of the present invention have been described in detail above, but these are merely examples and do not limit the scope of the claims. The technology described in the claims includes various modifications and changes of the specific examples illustrated above.
In addition, the technical elements described in the present specification or drawings exhibit technical usefulness alone or in various combinations, and are not limited to the combinations described in the claims at the time of filing. In addition, the technology illustrated in the present specification or the drawings achieves a plurality of objects at the same time, and has technical utility by achieving one of the objects.
Therefore, for example, it can also be configured as described below.
(1) The present invention can also be applied to a tall robot (for example, the hip joint is at a position lower than the rider's foot height). When a tall robot squats down on a human foot to get on and off the passenger, the knee joint and upper leg interfere with getting on and off. When crouching in the state of a bird's foot, the knee joint and upper leg do not interfere with getting on and off.
(2) The present invention is not limited to a biped robot. For example, the present invention can be applied to a quadruped walking type robot having a front leg and a rear leg. In the case of a quadruped walking robot that rides on the tip, it is possible to avoid interference between the front leg and the passenger by squatting with the front leg in a bird's-foot state. In addition, in a quadruped walking robot, the front leg can be in a bird's foot state and the rear leg can be in a human foot state, thereby squatting in a narrow space.
(3) In a biped walking robot, kneeling with one leg in a bird's-foot state and the other leg in a human-leg state makes the kneeling robot more stable.
