【0001】
φSi(x)=Acos(kxs i・x)・e− j (βs i ・z−ωt) ・・・(1)
φAi(x)=Bsin(kx ai・x)・e−j(βa i ・z−ωt) ・・・(2)
【0019】
ここで、xは導波路の幅方向への位置、zは導波路伝搬方向への位置を表わし、ωは共振周波数の角速度、kxs i=(ks 2−βs i 2)1/2、kxa i=(ks 2−βa i 2)1/2、ks=ω/vs、βs i=ω/vs i、βa i=ω/va iであり、vsは周期的摂動構造での音速である。
【0020】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a surface acoustic wave resonator in which an interdigital electrode for surface acoustic wave excitation and two reflectors are formed on the surface of a piezoelectric substrate.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, this type of surface acoustic wave resonator generally has a resonance characteristic having only one resonance point. In addition, the present inventor previously proposed a configuration in which a crossing width of interdigital electrodes in a surface acoustic wave resonator is apodized in accordance with a weight function that maximizes a general transformation ratio with respect to the order of interest. Even so, there was still only one resonance point.

The strip electrode 17 is connected to each other by two

The present invention has the above-described configuration and is characterized by a procedure for determining the electrode shape of the

[0018]
The vibration mode distribution functions φSi (x) and φAi (x) of the symmetric mode and the antisymmetric mode are calculated by, for example, solving a known wave equation in this type of model by setting appropriate boundary conditions. Can
For symmetric mode,
φSi (x) = Acos (k xs i · x) · e - j (βs i · z-ωt) ··· (1)
For antisymmetric mode,
φAi (x) = Bsin (k x ai · x) · e− j (βa i · z−ωt) (2)
It can be expressed as
[0019]
Here, x is the position in the width direction of the waveguide, z represents the position of the waveguide step, omega is the resonant frequency angular velocity, k xs i = (k s 2 -β s i 2) 1/2 , k xa i = (k s 2 -β a i 2) 1/2, k s = ω / v s, β s i = ω / v s i, is a β a i = ω / v a i, v s is the speed of sound in a periodic perturbation structure.
[0020]
Further, v s i is the velocity of the symmetric mode and v a i is the velocity of the anti-symmetric mode of the surface acoustic wave in the waveguide, and the wave equation is calculated from conditions such as the thickness of the electrode, the electrode material and the type of the piezoelectric substrate. Can be obtained from a velocity dispersion curve obtained by solving. Therefore, the propagation constant (k xs i · k xa i ) in the x direction in the equations (1) and (2) takes different values depending on the mode and the order.
[0021]
For example, when the vibration mode distribution in the first-order symmetric mode S0 is obtained as described above, the left and right ends of the cosine curve corresponding to a half cycle rise as shown by the solid line in FIG. Further, the vibration mode distribution in the first-order antisymmetric mode A1 is a part of a sine curve as indicated by a broken line in FIG. Further, the vibration mode distribution in the second-order symmetric mode S2 has a shape in which the left and right ends of the cosine curve for 1.5 periods are cut off, as shown by a one-dot chain line in FIG.
[0022]
Further, when the maximum values in the three curves are relativized to 1 as shown in FIG. 2 and the sum is taken, the mode sum vibration distribution is obtained, but as shown by the solid line in FIG. 3, a large mountain shape extending to the plus side of the coordinate axis. Curve a and a small mountain-shaped curve b extending to the minus side.
[0023]
Here, when the obtained mode sum vibration distribution is in the curve shown in FIG. 3, two curves A and B which are substantially elliptical closed are added by adding curves inverted in the vertical axis direction indicated by the broken line in FIG. Moreover, although the example which added three modes was shown in the above-mentioned example, even when using two or four or more symmetrical and antisymmetric vibration modes, the vibration mode distribution of each order is similarly shown. After obtaining, the necessary curve is obtained by taking the sum of them.
[0029]
Further, in FIG. 2, the maximum values in the vibration mode distribution to be added are all made relative to 1, but each mode distribution can also be added with a weight as shown in FIG.
