Tlimit [℃]
Dc [degCA]=Rdur [degCA/sec]×tc [sec]
【0033】
Dc [degCA]=Rdur [degCA/sec]×tc [sec]
【0034】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an invention that automatically adjusts the exhaust temperature of each cylinder by controlling an electronic fuel injection valve in an engine such as a gas engine, thereby improving the variation in the exhaust temperature between the cylinders. The present invention relates to an engine, an engine exhaust temperature control apparatus and control method capable of performing such control, and a program for causing a computer to function as the exhaust temperature control means.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a multi-cylinder engine, the exhaust temperatures from the cylinders do not completely coincide with each other. Currently, in a commercial engine, the variation in the exhaust temperature of each cylinder is regulated to be within ± 15 ° C. on an average at 100% load. For cylinders whose exhaust temperature deviates from this range, the exhaust temperature is adjusted by manually adjusting the gas adjustment valve of the corresponding cylinder to balance each cylinder.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Since the gas amount adjusting valve described above is adjusted at 100% load, the exhaust temperature may vary greatly between cylinders except for 100% load, and from the initial set value even at 100% load due to secular change. In some cases, it may be necessary to manually adjust the gas amount adjustment valve by deviating. If the deviation from the initial set value due to such secular change is left unattended, the variation in the exhaust temperature between the cylinders further increases, causing misfires and knocking, which is particularly inconvenient in the operation of a cogeneration system, for example. Profit. That is, when engine misfire or knock occurs in the cogeneration system, the first step is to derate (decrease) the engine output (that is, the power generation amount of the system) as a human and equipment safety measure. This is because the engine is stopped at the step, and such derating of engine output and stoppage of operation not only cover the power expected by the system operator but also become disadvantageous in terms of economy, and in the worst case demand This is because charging due to over (power contract violation) occurs and is disadvantageous.
[0004]
For example, as described above, automatically controlling the variation in the exhaust temperature between the cylinders is an important technology for the safe and stable operation of the cogeneration system. A stable technology that can reliably achieve the above has been desired.
[0005]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an exhaust temperature control technique that can prevent the occurrence of misfire or knocking by keeping the exhaust temperature of each cylinder in a predetermined range in an engine such as a gas engine.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The engine according to claim 1 measures a plurality of cylinders, a plurality of electronic fuel injection valves (1) that are respectively provided corresponding to the cylinders and supply fuel, and exhaust temperatures from the cylinders. The exhaust temperature measuring means (4) for outputting the exhaust gas temperature signal (10), the load factor measuring means (6) for detecting the engine load factor and outputting the load signal, and the engine load factor A deration rate indicating the set deviation and the change rate of the opening period of the electronic fuel injection valve is set. And Each exhaust temperature signal from the exhaust temperature measuring means is sampled at predetermined time intervals to calculate the average exhaust temperature of the entire cylinders And The deviation obtained by comparing the average exhaust temperature and the exhaust temperature of each cylinder is At the current load factor When the set deviation is exceeded, the target value of the opening period of the electronic fuel injection valve is calculated using the duration rate at the current load factor, and the output signal is given to the electronic fuel injection valve. Control means for performing control to change the valve opening period until it is determined that adjustment of the fuel injection period in the electronic fuel injection valve of the cylinder is unnecessary because the deviation of the cylinder is within the set deviation range. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 1 is a diagram schematically showing the configuration of the embodiment of the present invention. The gas engine of this example has a plurality of cylinders. An electronic fuel injection valve 1 is attached to a
[0012]
In the gas engine of this example, as shown in FIG. 1, an exhaust temperature control means 5 that controls the valve opening period of the electronic fuel injection valve 1 in order to adjust the exhaust temperature from each cylinder within a certain range. Specifically, information is processed in a predetermined procedure to be described later, and a computer in which a program for adjusting the valve opening period of the electronic fuel injection valve 1 is written, or control similar to that of the computer is performed. The governor set so as to function as the control means 5.
[0014]
As shown in FIG. 1, the gas engine of this example includes a load factor measuring means 6 and a rotation speed measuring means 7. These are connected to the control means 5 and output a
[0015]
The gas engine of this example is used as a prime mover for cogeneration, and drives a generator (not shown). Therefore, the engine load described above is the generated power, and the load factor means the power factor. Specifically, a signal indicating how much power is generated by the generator is sent to a generator panel (not shown), and the signal is output from the generator panel to the control means 5 as a
[0016]
As the rotation speed measuring means 7, a non-contact type rotation speed detection element using light provided in a rotation driving portion of the engine can be used.
[0017]
As shown in FIG. 1, the input means 8 for setting the predetermined data required for control is connected to the control means 5 of the gas engine of this example. The predetermined data necessary for the control includes the following 1) to 5).
1) Control start (end) speed [rpm]
This is the engine speed at which the control starts when the value is exceeded and ends when it falls below the value.
2) Sampling setting time [sec]
This is the time interval for sampling the exhaust gas temperature signal, and can be set within the range of 0.1 to 60 sec in this example.
3) Set load [%]
It is one or more load values set as control branch points in the control of this example, and in this example, eight values from L0 to L7 are set.
4) Duration rate Rdur [deg · CrankAngle / sec] This means the change rate of the controlled variable at each value of the set load. Here, the control amount is an amount indicating the valve opening period (unit: [degCA]) of the fuel injection valve that is directly controlled by the control means 5 in this example. In this example, the amount of change in the valve opening period per second is indicated by the crank angle. For example, if set to 0.1 deg CA, the opening degree of the fuel injection valve increases or decreases by 0.1 deg CA per second during control. To do.
5) Set deviation Tlimit [℃]
This value is set independently for each set load, and is a value that defines an allowable range of deviation between the actual exhaust temperature at the sampling timing and the average exhaust temperature of all cylinders of the gas engine.
[0018]
FIG. 2 schematically shows the control of the exhaust temperature in the engine of this example, and the control procedure or the function of the control means 5 in this example will be briefly described with reference to this figure.
The control means 5 periodically recognizes the exhaust temperature at a sampling set time (tsamp [sec]), recognizes the engine load at each recognized time, and sets the deviation Tlimit [° C.] according to this load. And the average exhaust temperature Tave [° C.] of the entire six cylinders is calculated according to the control of this example.
The upper limit value and lower limit value in FIG. 2 indicate (average exhaust temperature Tave + setting deviation Tlimit) [° C.] and (average exhaust temperature Tave−setting deviation Tlimit) [° C.], respectively. Even if a cylinder out of the six cylinders deviates from the set deviation range at a certain time as shown by the broken line in the figure, the exhaust temperature control of this cylinder keeps the exhaust temperature within the set deviation range by this example ( It is adjusted so as to fall between the upper limit value and the lower limit value.
[0019]
That is, in the control shown in FIG. 2, for example, if the sampling set time is 0.1 sec, the exhaust temperature signal taken every 0.1 sec is calculated, and if 60 sec, the exhaust temperature taken every 60 sec is calculated. The signal is calculated. In this example, 2 sec.
[0020]
The calculation by the control means 5 recognizes the cylinder outlet exhaust temperature of each cylinder for each data sample, calculates the average value of all exhaust cylinders, and calculates the average value of the entire cylinder and the cylinder outlet exhaust of each cylinder. The temperature is compared to determine whether the exhaust temperature of each cylinder is within the set deviation. Thus, the set deviation is a plus or minus (upper limit, lower limit) deviation with respect to the average value. The electronic fuel injection valve 1 is controlled for the cylinder deviating from the set deviation.
[0021]
The electronic fuel injection valve 1 is controlled using the deration rate until the exhaust temperature of the corresponding cylinder falls within the set deviation by changing the valve opening period of the electronic fuel injection valve 1. As described above, the set deviation and the duration rate can be set to different values for each set load.
[0022]
FIG. 3 shows an example of the relationship between the set load (load factor, horizontal axis) and the deration rate Rdur [deg. Crank Angle / sec] (vertical axis). Although any number of set loads from L0 to Ln can be set, in this example, n = 7 and a total of 8 set loads can be set. For example, L0 is set to 0%, L1 is set to 25%, and the like. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the set deviation between the points (L0, L1,...) Of the set load is set so as to connect the points linearly.
[0023]
FIG. 4 shows an example of the relationship between the set load (load factor, horizontal axis) and the set deviation Tlimit [° C.] (vertical axis). Regarding the set deviation, an arbitrary number of set loads from L0 to Ln can be set, but in this example, as described above, n = 7 and a total of 8 set loads can be set. Note that the setting load at this time can be set independently of the setting load of the duration rate. As shown in FIG. 4, the set deviation between the points (L0, L1,...) Of the set load is set so as to connect the points linearly.
[0024]
Further, if the set deviation is set to 10 ° C., for example, the allowable range is within ± 10 ° C. with respect to the average outlet exhaust temperature of the entire cylinder, and the difference between the actual exhaust temperature and the average exhaust temperature is within this range. Control is not performed, and control is performed if it deviates from this range.
[0025]
FIG. 5 is a flowchart showing the exhaust temperature control procedure by the control program written in the control means 5 of this example. In the figure, S1 to S9 correspond to Step 1 to Step 9. The control procedure performed by the

[0031]
In step 6, the control means 5 checks the sign of the exhaust temperature deviation ΔTn [° C.] to determine whether the current exhaust temperature T (n) [° C.] of the cylinder has deviated from the high temperature side or the low temperature side. To do. That is, if ΔTn> 0 (FIG. 5, equation (1) in step 6), exhaust temperature T (n) <average exhaust temperature Tave, and the current exhaust temperature T (n) [° C. of the cylinder concerned. ] Deviates to the low temperature side. In the case of ΔTn <0 (FIG. 5, equation (2) in Step 6), exhaust temperature T (n)> average exhaust temperature Tave, and the current exhaust temperature T (n) [° C.] of the cylinder is It is determined that the temperature has deviated to the high temperature side.
[0032]
In step 6, if the exhaust temperature T (n) of the cylinder <average exhaust temperature Tave (that is, ΔTn> 0), the current exhaust temperature of the cylinder deviates from the lower limit value to the lower temperature side. Proceed to 7, and the exhaust temperature of the cylinder is increased. That is, the control means 5 uses the deration rate Rdur [deg · CA / sec], which is the change speed of the valve opening period of the electronic fuel injection valve 1 of the cylinder determined in
Target value of valve opening period [degCA] = D0 + Dc
Here, Dc [degCA] = Rdur [degCA / sec] × tc [sec]
[0033]
In step 6, if the exhaust temperature T (n) of the cylinder> average exhaust temperature Tave (that is, ΔTn <0), the current exhaust temperature of the cylinder deviates from the upper limit to the higher temperature side. In
Target value of opening period [degCA] = D0−Dc
Here, Dc [degCA] = Rdur [degCA / sec] × tc [sec]
[0034]
In this way, after the delay rate control, that is, the fuel injection amount is adjusted by adjusting the opening period of the fuel injection valve so as to fall within the set deviation in
[0035]
In the above control, the variation in the exhaust temperature is generally larger as the load is lower and decreases as the load is higher. If it is attempted to suppress the variation at a low load as in the case of a high load, the exhaust temperature may diverge (cannot converge) due to unreasonable control. As a countermeasure, the set deviation and the deration rate are changed for each load so as to be within the exhaust temperature range suitable for the load. The deration rate also has an adjustment amount that is more suitable for the load. If the duration rate value is large at high load, control may diverge. If the duration rate value is small at low load, the control speed may be slow.
Accordingly, the set deviation and the duration rate to be generally set tend to be larger as the load is lower and smaller as the load is medium and high. Since the setting deviation and the duration rate are independent, there is an advantage that control suitable for the load can be performed.
[0036]
FIG. 8 is a graph showing the effect of engine control according to this example.
Here, in the engine operating state, the load factor is changed from 50% to 80%, and further returned to 50%. The set deviation Tlimit [° C.] was set to plus or minus 10 ° C. of the average outlet exhaust temperature of the entire cylinder. The delation rate Rdur [degCA / sec] was set to 0.05 [degCA / sec] at a load factor of 50% to 80%.
[0037]
In FIG. 8, there is a cylinder that deviates from the set deviation in which the exhaust gas temperature is set at the deviation upper limit and the deviation lower limit when the load factor is about 65%. Normally, without this control, the exhaust temperature does not return and each cylinder is operated with the exhaust temperature unbalanced. However, due to the effect of this control, the exhaust temperature is within the normal range as shown in FIG. Has returned to. In this way, even in a situation where the exhaust temperature may vary, this control can automatically correct the variation and prevent knocking and misfire due to an unbalance of the exhaust temperature between the cylinders. .
[0038]
The engine of the present example described above is a six-cylinder engine having a cylinder diameter of 220 mm, but the same effect can be obtained by the present invention even if the cylinder diameter and the number of cylinders are changed. Moreover, although the duration rate and the set deviation are divided into 8 loads, the number can be increased or decreased as necessary.
[0039]
Although this example relates to a gas engine, the present invention can be applied to other engines as long as the opening timing of the electronic fuel injection valve can be adjusted in order to control the exhaust temperature.
[0040]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, when the difference between the average exhaust temperature of the cylinder and the exhaust temperature deviates from the set deviation, the valve opening period of the electronic fuel injection valve is controlled. Knocking and misfire can be prevented.
