【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来のスイッチは、操作部材56の移動方向に対して、固定接点52が直交する方向に並設され、スライド体54と可動接点55が横方向に可動するため、横方向に大型になるという問題がある。
また、スライド体54を必要とし、部品点数が多くなって、コスト高で、生産性が悪くなるという問題がある。
また、スイッチのOFF時、可動接点55の第1,第2の接触部55b、55cが2個の固定接点52間に位置した状態となって、可動接点55と固定接点52との間が間隔が小さくなり、耐電圧が低くなるという問題がある。
また、可動接点55の第1,第2の接触部55b、55cは、その延びる方向に対して直交する方向に移動して、固定接点52を挟持するため、固定接点52への第1,第2の接触部55b、55cの挟持がスムースにできず、第1,第2の接触部55b、55cが変形を生じるという問題がある。

次に、本発明のスイッチについて、レバー型のスイッチに適用した場合を例にその構成を図1〜図6に基づいて説明すると、絶縁材の成型品からなる箱形をなした絶縁基体1は、矩形状の底壁1aと、この底壁1aの3つの辺から上方に延びる3つの側壁1bと、底壁1aの上面から上方に突出する台座部1cと、この台座部1cの上面に設けられた円弧状の凹部1dと、対向する側壁1bの外周面に設けられた楔状の複数個の掛け止め部1eとを有する。

即ち、可動接点の第1,第2の接触部が固定接点の延びる方向に移動するため、操作部材の移動方向に対して直交する方向に小型化できる。
また、第1,第2の接触部が固定接点から上方に逃げるため、2個の固定接点間に接触部が逃げる従来に比して、耐電圧を大きくすることができる。
また、従来のスライド体が不要となって、部品点数が少なく、安価で、生産性が良く、且つ、小型のものが提供できる。
また、可動接点の第1,第2の接触部は、その延びる方向で、固定接点に接触して挟持するため、第1,第2の接触部の変形の少ないものが得られる。
