Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a coating inspection apparatus used for detecting a coating defect of a bumper of an automobile .
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a coating inspection device for inspecting the coating of automobile parts, etc., the striped light in which linear bright parts and dark parts are arranged alternately is irradiated onto the inspection object, and the irradiation area of this striped light is captured by an imaging camera. Some are configured to image. In such a coating inspection apparatus, a coating defect is determined by analyzing a captured image.
[0003]
As an example of the coating inspection apparatus as described above, there is an apparatus in which an illumination device for irradiating stripe light is a tunnel type, and an inspection object is transported by a transport device inside (for example, , See Patent Document 1). As another example of the coating inspection apparatus, there is an apparatus in which an inspection object is held by an articulated robot arm and then the inspection object is carried into an inspection area by an illumination device and an imaging camera.
[0004]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-271038
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the former, the inspection object is only transported in a fixed posture by the transport device, and the illumination device and the imaging camera are only fixed around the transport device. Therefore, an unimaged portion that is not irradiated with stripe light and is not imaged by the imaging camera may occur in a wide area on the surface portion of the inspection object. This makes the inspection less reliable and is not appropriate. In particular, such a problem has become more prominent when, for example, the front and rear bumpers are collectively inspected and one of them is hidden behind the other.
[0006]
On the other hand, in the latter, since the posture of the inspection object can be variously changed by the operation of the robot arm when the inspection object is made to face the illumination device or the camera, the unimaged part is different from the former. Can be prevented from occurring. However, in the latter case, since the inspection is performed after the robot arm holds the inspection objects one by one, the efficiency of the inspection work is poor. In particular, it is difficult to inspect a plurality of inspection objects as a set, and in such a case, the efficiency of the inspection work becomes worse. In addition, the robot arm is troublesome to control and expensive, and has a problem that its installation space becomes relatively large.
[0007]
The present invention has been conceived under the circumstances described above, and is a bumper coating inspection apparatus capable of appropriately and efficiently performing a coating inspection in which a front bumper and a rear bumper of an automobile are used as one set. The issue is to provide
[0008]
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention takes the following technical means.
[0009]
The bumper coating inspection apparatus provided by the invention of the present application transports in a horizontal direction by supporting a front bumper and a rear bumper as an object to be inspected and spaced apart from each other so that their painted surfaces face outward. a transfer device for, a coating inspection apparatus comprising: an illumination device for irradiating an imaging means for imaging the inspection object, the illumination light for inspection on the inspection object being conveyed by the conveying device, The imaging means includes first and second imaging units that are located away from each other in the conveyance direction of the conveyance device, while the conveyance device is located at a predetermined position between the first and second imaging units. separately provided with rotation means for rotating the test object conveyed by the conveying apparatus about a vertical axis is provided, the inspection object, while being conveyed by the conveying device Captured by the first imaging unit, and then is characterized by being configured to be imaged is rotated, then by the second imaging unit by the rotating means.
[0010]
In the present invention, by rotating a set of bumpers as inspection objects, it is possible to easily change the orientation or orientation of the inspection object relative to the illumination device and the imaging means, either before or after the rotation. In order to perform imaging, it is possible to prevent an unimaged portion of the inspection object from being generated in a wide area . Although inspection object is rotated by the rotating means as described above, merely the coating test, in order to be able to perform the conveying process by the conveying device, the efficiency of the coating test is enhanced. Furthermore, since the rotation means only needs to have a function of rotating the inspection object, the configuration can be simplified and downsized and the operation control can be easily performed as compared with the conventional robot arm. Can do. Therefore, it is preferable in terms of the cost of the apparatus and the installation space.
[0012]
The upper Symbol rotating means, in order are provided separately from the above transport apparatus, it is not necessary to mount the rotating means to the upper Symbol conveying apparatus, it aims to simplify the whole structure, reducing their cost It is more suitable for aiming.
[0013]
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the transport device is configured to include a carriage that is movable along a fixed path and has a support base that supports the inspection object, and the rotating means includes The support table is configured to rotate. According to such a configuration, it is possible to appropriately realize a rotating operation during the conveyance of the inspection object with a simple configuration. When inspecting a plurality of inspection objects at once, if these are supported on the support base, they can be rotated simultaneously.
