BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an antenna apparatus and a radio apparatus, and more particularly to an antenna apparatus and a radio apparatus suitable for use in a plurality of communication systems.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, an antenna mounted on a portable wireless device such as a cellular phone is required to be small and lightweight so that it is convenient to carry. However, if the antenna is simply physically downsized, the radiation resistance is reduced, and degradation of antenna efficiency becomes a problem. At the same time, as the antenna is miniaturized, the Q value is also increased, so the specific bandwidth of the antenna is reduced. Thus, if the antenna is simply downsized, desired antenna characteristics cannot be satisfied.
[0003]
In recent years, portable wireless devices are required to be equipped with a plurality of communication systems, and some of them are actually installed. As an example of a plurality of communication systems, for example, a dual-band voice call function for making a voice call using two frequencies having different frequency bands, a GPS (Global Positioning System) function, a Bluetooth function (short-range wireless communication function), etc. Is mentioned.
[0004]
Since this type of portable radio device is compatible with a plurality of communication systems, an antenna corresponding to each frequency band is required. As methods for satisfying this requirement, there are a method of obtaining resonance with a plurality of different frequencies in a single antenna, and a method of mounting a plurality of antennas resonating with the respective frequencies.
[0005]
However, in the former method, the design of the antenna is complicated, and a switch or a duplexer is required for the high-frequency circuit connected to the antenna. For this reason, in this method, an insertion loss of a switch or a duplexer occurs, and the radio characteristics deteriorate. On the other hand, in the latter method, deterioration of antenna characteristics due to interference between antennas and carrier transmission waves generated from one communication system and its spurious when multiple communication systems operate simultaneously are mounted on the same portable radio. It can be considered that it becomes an interference wave of other communication systems and causes problems in radio characteristics.
[0006]
Therefore, as a method for increasing the bandwidth of the antenna, an antenna element having an electrical length of about λ / 4 (λ represents a frequency used in a communication system) with one end connected to a ground conductor, or about λ with both ends open. There is known a method in which another antenna element is arranged in the vicinity of an antenna that feeds an antenna element having an electrical length of / 2, and the arranged antenna element is operated as a parasitic element. In this method, multiple resonances are obtained by inducing a high-frequency current by capacitive coupling in an antenna element arranged close to a fed antenna element.
[0007]
As an antenna using this technique, several antenna devices have been proposed so far (see, for example,

[0011]
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of such problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an antenna device and a wireless device that are compatible with a plurality of communication systems and have a wide band for each band.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The antenna device of the present invention includes a first antenna element that resonates with a first frequency, a second antenna element that capacitively couples with the first antenna element and resonates with a second frequency, Impedance adjusting means connected to the feeding point of each of the second antenna elements and adjusting the impedance, and frequency passing means connected to the impedance adjusting means and passing only a predetermined frequency. In this antenna device, at the time of feeding one antenna element, the impedance adjusting means connected to the other antenna element is adjusted to adjust the impedance so that the other antenna element operates as a parasitic element.
[0013]
According to the antenna device of the present invention, when one antenna element is fed, the impedance adjusting means connected to the other antenna element that is capacitively coupled to the antenna element is adjusted, and the other antenna element operates as a parasitic element. When the impedance is adjusted in such a manner, each antenna operates at each frequency and is widened in each frequency band.
[0014]
The wireless device of the present invention includes a first antenna element that resonates with a first frequency, a second antenna element that capacitively couples with the first antenna element and resonates with a second frequency, Impedance adjusting means connected to the feeding point of each of the second antenna elements to adjust the impedance, frequency passing means connected to the impedance adjusting means for passing only a predetermined frequency, and a radio circuit section for transmitting and receiving signals Is provided. In this antenna apparatus, when one antenna element is fed, the impedance adjusting means connected to the other antenna element is adjusted to adjust the impedance so that the other antenna element operates as a parasitic element. It has a control part.
[0015]
According to the radio apparatus of the present invention, the control unit adjusts the impedance adjusting means connected to the other antenna element that is capacitively coupled to the antenna element when the power is supplied to the one antenna element so that the other antenna element is not used. Since the impedance is adjusted so as to operate as a feed element, each antenna operates at each frequency and is widened in each frequency band.
