【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前記従来のエアフィルタの場合、エアフィルタを組み立てるに際し、フィルタパックcの濾材aが折り込み方向に対して広がろうとするために、図2に示すように、左右側板e,eを専用ジグgで固定しながら組立を行う必要があり、専用ジグgの用意、個数確保に手間がかかり、また、シール剤fが組立時に垂れ流し状態になってしまうためシール剤の粘度や性状にかなり気を付ける必要があり、組立作業に手間がかかるという不都合を有していた。
そこで、本発明は、前記従来技術の不都合を解消し、組み立て時に専用ジグを必要とせず、また、シール剤の粘度、性状に特に気を付ける必要もなく、粘度2300cP以下のシール剤でも使用可能なエアフィルタを提供することをその課題とするものである。

本発明のエアフィルタは前記課題を解決するべく、濾材をジグザグ状に折り込み、この折り曲げ空間にセパレータ或いはリボン材を配して折り曲げ空間の間隔保持を行うようにしたフィルタパックを、気流方向の流入側及び流出側に舟を設けた上下枠板と左右側板とで囲繞して、前記フィルタパックと前記上下枠の間にシール剤を充填するようにしたエアフィルタにおいて、前記上下枠板の左右端部に前記左右側板の端面に設けたガイド溝を嵌入自在としたガイド板を設けるようにしたことを特徴とするエアフィルタである。
また、請求項2記載のエアフィルタは、前記シール剤の初期粘度が2300cP以下であることを特徴とするエアフィルタである。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、図面に従って、本発明エアフィルタの実施の形態につき説明する。
図1は、本発明エアフィルタの一実施の形態の組み立て状態の斜視図であって、図中1は、フィルタパックを示し、濾材2をジグザグ状に折り込み、この折り曲げ空間にセパレータ3を配して折り曲げ空間の間隔保持を行うようにしたもので、このフィルタパック1を、上下枠板4,4と左右側板5,5とで囲繞して、前記フィルタパック1と前記上下枠板4,4の間にシール剤6を充填するようにしたもので、かかる構成は特に従来のエアフィルタと変わるものではない。

本発明のエアフィルタは、前記上下枠板4,4の気流方向の流入側及び流出側に舟7,7を設けると共に左右端部に前記左右側板5,5の端面5a,5aに設けたガイド溝5b,5bを嵌入自在としたガイド板8,8を設けるようにした。

このように、本発明のエアフィルタによれば、特別のジグを用いる必要もなく、組立性に優れるとともに、粘度の低いシール剤を用いてもシール剤の垂れ流しが生じることなく、気密性に優れたエアフィルタとして簡単に組み立てることができる。
