【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、ラベルの貼着によって加飾するチューブ容器にあっても、ラベル印刷面の剥がれが生じたり、ラベルの剥がれ等といった問題が生じ、加飾効果の持続性という点に改良の余地があった。加えて、印刷等による加飾では、作業変更が煩雑となるため、大ロットの生産では問題無いものの、小ロットの生産には対応しきれないなどの問題を有していた。

【課題を解決するための手段】
このため、請求項１に係る発明は、内容物の注出口を有するヘッドと、このヘッドにつながり内容物を収容する胴部とを備えるチューブ容器であって、前記胴部は、内容物を収容するベース層と、このベース層の外表面を覆う透明または半透明の保護層と、この保護層と前記ベース層との相互間に介在して胴部の全面または一部を装飾する中間体とを備え、この胴部の外観に、当該中間体の厚み分の凹凸部を形成してなることを特徴とするものである。

中間体１がラベルである場合は、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン、ポリエステル等の熱可塑性樹脂に着色したもの、または、これらの熱可塑性樹脂若しくは紙の表面に印刷を施したものを用いる。ここで施される印刷は、グラビア印刷やオフセット印刷のほか、公知の印刷技術を用いて施される。特に、中間体１を、色彩の濃淡等の再現性が良いグラビア印刷を施したラベルとすれば、チューブ容器１０の鑑賞性および展示効果（加飾効果）が向上する。

【発明の効果】
