Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention includes a reservoir for storing hydraulic fluid of a hydraulic master cylinder for a vehicle that hydraulically operates a brake or a clutch of a vehicle such as an automobile or a motorcycle, and is stored in various storage tanks. The present invention relates to a liquid level detection device for detecting that the minimum liquid amount is reached.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, in a vehicular hydraulic master cylinder that hydraulically operates a brake or a clutch of an automobile or the like, a reservoir for storing a hydraulic fluid is separately provided. As disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-282467 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-282467, there is known a device provided with a reservoir liquid level detection device that detects that the amount of hydraulic fluid in the reservoir has reached a predetermined minimum amount.
[0003]
This liquid level detection device includes a reed switch provided at the bottom of the reservoir, and a spherical float that moves up and down as the liquid level fluctuates above the reed switch. The spherical float is eccentric from the spherical center to the lower side. A magnet is attached to the position, and a float guide surrounding the spherical float is erected around the reed switch. The magnet is located at the bottom of the float and becomes the center of gravity of the spherical float that floats on the surface of the working fluid. When the working fluid is reduced to the specified minimum amount and the magnet is close to the reed switch, the reed switch contacts Is closed and energized by magnet excitation, and the driver is notified of a decrease in hydraulic fluid by an alarm sound or an alarm lamp.
[0004]
In such a liquid level detection device using a spherical float with a magnet, the working fluid in the reservoir is biased when the vehicle behaves suddenly even though the working fluid remains sufficiently in the reservoir. The float temporarily lowers and the spherical float magnet comes close to the reed switch, but the spherical float tilts like a pendulum due to the fluid level fluctuation of the hydraulic fluid, and the magnet moves sideways from the upper position of the reed switch. Therefore, there is an advantage that the reed switch in the contact closed state is not accidentally opened.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above-described liquid level detection device has the following disadvantages.
FIG. 5 shows that the
[0006]
If the vehicle body suddenly behaves suddenly such as sudden braking or sudden start from such a state, the
[0007]
In addition, such troubles are often seen when the vehicle body is tilted, such as when a car or motorcycle goes up and down a hill, or when a motorcycle is cornering, such as a warning stop malfunction when going up or down a hill. Is not only temporary.
[0008]
Therefore, the present invention can effectively utilize the characteristic of the spherical float that prevents the reed switch in the contact open state from being accidentally closed, and may cause vibration or tilt in the storage tank when the reed switch contact is in the closed state. However, it aims at providing the liquid level detection apparatus which can maintain the contact closed state of a reed switch stably.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a reed switch at the bottom of a storage tank, and a spherical float that moves up and down as the liquid level of the stored liquid is provided above the reed switch. In the liquid level detection device in which the magnet located on the lower side closes the reed switch contact by approaching the reed switch due to the decrease of the stored liquid, the upper part of the reed switch and the lower part of the float A protrusion is provided on either side, and a guide recess is provided on the other side where the protrusion is loosely fitted. The guide recess and the protrusion are loosely fitted when the stored liquid reaches a predetermined minimum liquid amount. It is characterized by setting as follows.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the liquid level detection device of the present invention, when the amount of stored liquid inside the storage tank is sufficient, while taking advantage of the characteristics of the spherical float that the contact of the reed switch is not accidentally closed, When the stored liquid in the storage tank is reduced to the specified minimum liquid volume, the contact point of the reed switch is kept well closed even when the liquid level changes due to the inclination of the storage tank or external factors. It becomes possible to continuously maintain the notification of the decrease in the stored liquid due to.
