本発明は、潜水探検者が潜水用ヘルメットを被って海底を散歩する海底歩行システムに関する。

【従来の技術】
海底に広がる別世界を楽しむ手段として、スキューバダイビングやシュノーケリングがあるが、それらの手段は、一部の人々にのみ普及しているものであり、必ずしも一般大衆的なものとはなっていない。即ち、スキューバダイビングの場合は、人体に危険を及ぼす深度まで潜水するものであることから、スキューバの操作等に一定の熟練を要するものであり、また、ライセンスの取得等、時間と費用のかかるものとなっている。一方、シュノーケリングの場合は、海面から海底を覗く程度のことしかできないので、面白みに欠けるものとなっている。このような状況のなかで、一般の人々が手軽に楽しめるものとしては、特開平10−167178に、潜水用ヘルメットを装着するだけで海底歩行を可能にする海底歩行体験方法が開示されている。この海底歩行体験方法は、特定したスポット周囲を歩行するように構成されたものであり、そのスポットまでは、船で移動するものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、潜水や、泳ぎなどができない一般人であっても、海底が散歩できて、海底を気軽に楽しめるようにすることである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決する為に、本発明は、潮で流されないように、海底に沈めてその位置を固定する固定手段を備え、海面に浮かせて設けたブイと、前記ブイと陸上の固定物との間に掛け渡したガイドロープと、前記ガイドロープに沿って移動可能に構成したボートと、前記ボートに設置した空気供給装置と、前記空気供給装置より空気の供給を受けて、潜水探検者が呼吸できるように形成した潜水用ヘルメットと、を具備し、潜水探検者が、前記潜水用ヘルメットを被った状態で、前記ボートの移動と伴に、陸地から海底へと歩行可能に構成したことを特徴とする。また、前記空気供給装置は、その装置本体に連結されたエアーコンプレッサーと、前記装置本体に備えられた複数個の開閉バルブおよび圧力計と、を備えていることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて詳細に説明する。図1は、本発明の海底歩行システムを示した説明図である。この図1に示すように、海上の所定域には、ブイ3が設けられており、そのブイ3と陸上の固定物6との間には、ガイドロープ2が掛け渡されている。また、ガイドロープ2に沿って移動できるように構成したボート1が、空気供給装置4を設置し、さらに、その空気供給装置4より空気の供給を受けて、潜水探検者が呼吸できるように潜水用ヘルメット5が提供されている。即ち、潜水探検者は、その潜水用ヘルメット5を被ることにより、ボート1に伴い、ブイ3を設けた場所まで、陸地から海底を歩行することができるように構成されている。

ブイ3の設置場所は、潜水探検者が、陸地から海底へと歩行するルートの先に設けられるものであり、海面に浮かせたブイ3には、錨3a(固定手段)を海底に沈めて設け、その位置が動かないようにする。また、ブイ3と陸上の固定物6との間に、掛け渡されるガイドロープ2は、図1のように海面の上に必ずしも緊迫させて張る必要はなく、ボート1が、ガイドロープ2を手繰って進める程度、もしくは、潮でガイドロープ2が流されない程度に張られていれば良い。これにより、ボート1は、ガイドロープ2に沿って、潜水探検者に空気を供給しながら走行でき、また、潜水探検者は、ボート1から空気の供給が受けられる範囲で、移動できる。通常、潜水探検者は、ブイ3までの歩行ルートを、ボート1の位置を確認しながら、海底を歩行するので、歩行ルートを外れることはない。

ボート1については、特に限定されるものではなく、移動手段を有し空気供給装置4が設置されて、潜水探検者に空気を補給できるように構成されていればよい。即ち、ボート1に、エンジンなどの動力源は必ずしも必要ではなく、手で漕ぐオールが装備されたものや、ゴム性のボート1などでもよい。しかし、潮でボート1が流されて、ボート1がガイドロープ2から離れないように、ボート1とガイドロープ2とを連繋する嵌挿具8を設けるのがよい。このようなボート1に設置される空気供給装置4は、その装置本体にエアーコンプレッサー4aを連結し、また、装置本体には、複数個の開閉バルブ4bおよび圧力計4cとを備えて構成されている。この空気供給装置4の開閉バルブ4bには、潜水用ヘルメット5のホース10が連結される。これにより、開閉バルブ4bを開閉で、潜水用ヘルメット5に空気を送り込むことができる。また、その状態は、圧力計4cで視認できることから、危険は無い。しかし、非常時に備え、高圧エアータンク(図省略)や、その高圧エアータンクに空気を供給するために、バックアップ用圧力計等適宜に備えられている。

図2は、潜水用ヘルメット5を示したものであり、図1に示す空気供給装置4の開閉バルブ4bに連結されるホース7と、潜水探検者が肩で支えられるような肩当て部5cと、潜水用ヘルメット5の下部を前方に突出させて形成した突出部5dと、肩当て部5cに、ベルト5bを設けている。これにより、潜水用ヘルメット5の底は、拡径して開口されたものとなっており、その隙間から手が顔に直接触れられる。また、ベルト5bは、脇の下を通すことにより、潜水用ヘルメット5を肩に装着できるものであり、このように、潜水用ヘルメット5を形成した場合、潜水用ヘルメット5の重量を軽くできるので、装着し易いものとなる。また、全体を透明な合成樹脂素材で形成することもできることから、視野の広い潜水用ヘルメット5となる。このように、視野の広い潜水用ヘルメット5は、後続するボート1を確認する際、有効なものとなる。さらに、潜水用ヘルメット5の後面には、空気を排出する排気孔が設けられており、潜水用ヘルメット5内の空気を排出して空気を循環させ呼吸を楽にする。

図3は、補助ガイドロープ11(補助手段)を示したものである。この補助ガイドロープ11は、ボート1の任意の位置に繋がれて海中に沈められ、潜水探検者が把持できるようにしたものである。図3のように、補助ガイドロープ11を設けた場合、この補助ガイドロープ11に引かれることにより、海中であっても楽に歩行することができる。また、このような、潜水探検者の歩行を補助するような補助手段としては、インストラクターが潜水探検者を牽引できるようにした牽引バー(図省略)であってもよい。

本発明の海底歩行システムでは、潜水や泳ぎなどができなくても、一般の人が潜水探検者となり、陸上より、海中に気軽に歩いて行けるように構成されている。即ち、ボート1に装備された潜水用ヘルメット5を受け取り、頭に被り、陸上から海底に歩行するだけでよいものである。しかし、海底には歩行ルートの目印がないので、絶えず海面上のガイドロープ2や、ボート1の位置を確認し、ホース7の引張り具合に気を付ける必要がある。通常、インストラクターの引率もしくは指導の基に実施されるものであるが、上述したような基本的注意事項を守ることにより、気軽に海底を楽しむことができる。

本発明は、以上説明したように構成されているので、潜水や、泳ぎなどができない一般人であっても、陸上から歩いて海中に入り潜水して海底が散歩でき、気軽に海底が楽しめる。潜水用ヘルメットは、全体が軽量で、透明部材となっており、視野の広いものとすることで、海面上のガイドロープやボートが容易に確認できる。この潜水用ヘルメットに、排気孔が設けられたものは、空気が循環されて呼吸が楽なものとなる。潜水探検者の歩行を補助する補助手段が設けられた場合は、海中散歩が、さらに気軽で快適なものとなる。
