The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems of the conventional technology, and provides a socket that enables stable electrical connection by preventing connection failure due to solder oxidation, flux, or the like. Objective.
[0011]
In order to achieve the above object, the socket of the present invention is in contact with a base, a mounting portion on which an electrical component to be tested is placed, a fixed portion fixed to the base, and an external connection terminal of the electrical component. and a plurality of contacts having a contact portion that, adhesion prevention layer made of nickel-plated layer having a plurality of functional particles are distributed to prevent the adhesion of foreign matter to the contact portion is formed, the adhesion A connection layer which is a gold plating layer thinner than the particle diameter of the plurality of functional particles is formed on the suppression layer, and a part of the plurality of functional particles is exposed from the surface of the connection layer .
The socket according to the present invention includes a base, a placement portion on which the electrical component to be tested is placed, a fixed portion fixed to the base, and a contact portion that contacts an external connection terminal of the electrical component. An adhesion suppression layer comprising a metal plating layer in which a plurality of functional particles are distributed to prevent contact of foreign matters on the contact portion. A connection layer, which is a noble metal plating layer, is formed on the adhesion-suppressing layer on which the unevenness is formed, and the connection layer is mechanically or chemically polished so that a part of the plurality of functional particles is a surface of the connection layer. Is exposed from. The functional particles are, for example, PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene resin), titanium oxide, or Ti—O—N.
[0012]
In the present invention, since an adhesion suppression layer containing a predetermined functional material (for example, a material having water repellency or photocatalytic function) is provided at a contact portion (contact portion) of a contact (contact pin), an electrical component Adhesion of solder, flux, and the like, which tends to transfer from the external connection terminal such as (IC chip) to the contact portion of the contact, is suppressed.
As a result, according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent a connection failure due to solder oxidation, flux, or the like and obtain a stable electrical connection.
[0013]
In the present invention, it is possible to obtain a more stable electrical connection by forming a connection layer which is a noble metal plating layer on the adhesion suppression layer.
[0014]
In addition, since the adhesion suppressing layer has predetermined functional particles, it is possible to more effectively exert the function of the functional particles and prevent connection failure.
[0015]
Furthermore, by making the thickness of the connection layer smaller than the particle size of the functional particles, the functional particles are easily exposed when the contact portion of the contact and the external connection terminal of the electrical component come into contact with each other. It is possible to prevent the connection failure by more effectively exerting the above function. Furthermore, since the adhesion suppressing layer is partially exposed, the function of the functional material can be more effectively exhibited and connection failure can be prevented.
[0016]
Furthermore, by forming a conductive thin film on the surface of the functional particles, the area of the conductive portion can be increased, so that more stable electrical connection can be obtained.
