Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to, for example, waist or leg restraint apparatus using the inflator bag and the inflator bag for waist or leg restraint apparatus to protect and restrain the occupant in the seat in the event of a vehicle collision.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When the vehicle collides forward, the occupant tries to move forward due to inertia. When the occupant is wearing a seat belt, the forward movement of the occupant is restrained to some extent by the restraining action of the shoulder belt and the waist belt of the seat belt device, but it is often not sufficient.
PRC (Pelvis Restraint Cushion) is designed to limit the forward movement of the passenger by instantly raising the front end of the seat cushion when the vehicle suddenly decelerates due to a forward collision to prevent the passenger from moving forward. ) A waist restraint device to which the technology is applied has been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 1,
A leg restraining device for protecting a leg part of an occupant moving forward has also been proposed (see, for example,

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above prior art, in order to inflate and deploy the inflator bag reliably and quickly, a relatively large amount of high-pressure gas must be ejected into the inflator bag. There was a problem that it was necessary and cost increased.
In addition, there is a problem that the height (thickness) of the inflator bag at the time of contraction (when folded) is made small and cannot be stored compactly while ensuring a predetermined deployment stroke.

[0033]
In addition, the case where the inflator is provided inside the bag body has been described. However, as shown in FIG. 8, the bag body 51 has a simple shape without a holding recess, and the
Moreover, you may abbreviate | omit a part of side part of a bag main body. For example, the bag body may be formed of a ceiling portion and leg portions extending from four corner portions of the ceiling portion, and may have a table shape when deployed.
Further, an inflator bag may be configured by disposing a telescopic pipe in a bag-shaped bag body having no opening at both end faces.
Further, the mounting
[0034]
In the second embodiment, for example, a cylindrical guide member for guiding the high-pressure gas generated by the inflator to the vicinity of the tip of the telescopic pipe 44 may be provided. Accordingly, even if there is a gap at the connecting portion between the cylindrical bodies constituting the telescopic pipe 44, particularly immediately after the start of expansion, the high pressure gas can be reliably sent to the tip of the
In addition, as shown in FIG. 9, a relatively wide area dish-like member 52 may be attached to the tip of the telescopic pipe 44 to disperse the pressure on the inner wall surface of the bag body 43.
Further, instead of the telescopic pipe 44, as shown in FIG. 10, a bellows type actuator 53 having a bellows-like side wall that is substantially sealed may be used as the expansion assisting means.
[0035]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a part of the side surface part and a part of the bottom surface part can be omitted, so that the bag body can be made thin and the height can be secured while ensuring a sufficient deployment stroke. Can be stored compactly.
Further, by inflator gas being injected into the relatively small volume expansion assisting means, the gas pressure is unlikely to decrease and the bag body can be deployed at high speed. Therefore, the inflator can be reduced in size, which can contribute to cost reduction.
