Description
【0001】
【0056】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle control device, and more particularly to a vehicle control device that changes control characteristics of a vehicle in accordance with acceleration applied to wheels (tires).
[0002]
[Prior art]
A vehicle control device having a function of detecting the acceleration in the vertical direction and the lateral direction applied to the vehicle and changing the suspension characteristics based on these accelerations to improve the operability and riding comfort of the vehicle is known. It has been.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In such a device, the control characteristic of the vehicle is changed based on the acceleration applied to the vehicle body so that the running characteristic of the vehicle becomes appropriate. The acceleration applied to the vehicle body is generated as a result of the input from the road surface applied to the tire being transmitted to the vehicle body through the suspension, and thus is delayed from the input to the wheels. For this reason, when vehicle control is performed based on the acceleration applied to the vehicle body, it is difficult to accurately control the behavior of the vehicle.
[0004]
On the other hand, sensor means for detecting air pressure or the like is mounted on a wheel for an air pressure alarm system that issues an alarm to notify the driver when the wheel air pressure deviates from a predetermined range. . It can be considered that such a sensor means has a function of detecting acceleration to detect acceleration applied to the wheel.
[0005]
However, if all of these data such as air pressure, tire temperature, acceleration, etc. are transmitted uniformly from the sensor means attached to the wheels at a constant transmission rate, the battery of the detection device will be consumed quickly. In addition, there is a problem that the load on the signal processing device on the vehicle body side increases.
[0006]
The present invention has been made paying attention to this point, and an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle control device that can suppress battery consumption of a sensor means that is attached to a wheel and detects air pressure and acceleration. .
[0007]
It is another object of the present invention to provide a vehicle control device that can reduce the load on a signal processing device that is provided on the vehicle body side and that processes signals from sensor means attached to wheels.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, the air pressure of the wheel attached to each wheel and the acceleration applied to the wheel are detected, and the signal relating to the air pressure and the signal relating to the acceleration applied to the wheel are transmitted to the vehicle body based on the instruction received from the vehicle body side. A sensor means and a transmission situation which is provided on the vehicle body side and includes a transmission content and a transmission rate to be transmitted by the sensor means, and the instruction for causing the sensor means to transmit the signal in the determined transmission situation; Transmitting and receiving means for transmitting to the sensor means and receiving the signal transmitted from the sensor means based on the instruction, and determining the air pressure of each wheel based on the signal related to the air pressure, A pneumatic alarm device that issues an alarm when it deviates from a predetermined range, and a control that changes the control characteristics of the vehicle based on the signal relating to the acceleration Vehicle control apparatus is provided which is characterized in that it comprises a gender changing means.
[0009]
According to the present invention having such a configuration, the transmission state including the transmission content and the transmission rate from the sensor means provided on the wheel side is changed by the transmission / reception means provided on the vehicle body side. The battery power consumption is reduced.
[0010]
According to a preferred aspect of the present invention, the transmission / reception means changes the transmission rate according to a traveling state of the vehicle. According to such a configuration, the air pressure alarm device and the control characteristic changing unit can obtain information of an amount necessary for performing control (alarm, characteristic change) adapted to the vehicle state.
[0011]
According to another preferred aspect of the present invention, the transmission / reception means is configured such that when the vehicle stability control device is operating or suddenly braked, when the vehicle is traveling on a highway, the vehicle is at a medium or high speed. When the vehicle is turning at a low speed, the instruction is transmitted to the sensor means so as to transmit a signal related to the acceleration in addition to a signal related to the air pressure. According to such a configuration, when a signal related to acceleration is unnecessary, the signal related to acceleration is not transmitted, so that power consumption of the battery on the sensor means side is further suppressed.
According to another preferred aspect of the present invention, the transmission / reception means is configured such that the transmission rate is different between a case where the signal transmitted by the sensor means includes a signal related to the acceleration and a case where the signal related to the acceleration is not included. The instruction is transmitted to the sensor means.
[0012]
According to another preferable aspect of the present invention, the transmission / reception means changes the transmission rate or the transmission content according to the operating state of another vehicle control device. Examples of other vehicle control devices include an anti-lock brake system (ABS), a traction control system (TRC), a vehicle stability control (DSC) device, and the like.
[0013]
According to another preferred aspect of the present invention, the sensor means can detect the acceleration in the centrifugal force direction and the lateral acceleration applied to the wheel, and the transmission / reception means sets the transmission rate of the centrifugal force direction acceleration when traveling at a low speed. Set high, and set the transmission rate of lateral acceleration high when driving at high speed. Here, a high transmission rate means that the signal transmission interval is short, that is, the transmission frequency is high. According to such a configuration, control is performed with an emphasis on driving performance when traveling at high speed and on ride comfort when traveling at low speed.
[0014]
According to another preferred aspect of the present invention, the transmission / reception means sets the transmission rate of the turning outer wheel high during turning. Furthermore, according to another preferable aspect of the present invention, the transmission / reception means sets the transmission rate of the front wheels higher than the transmission rate of the rear wheels when turning. According to these configurations, it is possible to perform control with an emphasis on running stability during turning.
[0015]
According to another preferred aspect of the present invention, the transmission / reception means changes the transmission status based on road information from a vehicle-mounted navigation device. According to such a configuration, for example, it is possible to perform vehicle control in consideration of special road conditions such as an expressway.
[0016]
According to another preferred aspect of the present invention, the vehicle stability control device is further provided, and the transmission / reception means increases the transmission rate during operation of the vehicle stability control device. According to such a configuration, during operation of the vehicle stability control device in which the running state of the vehicle is unstable, a large amount of information can be obtained from the wheel side, and highly accurate vehicle control can be performed.
[0017]
According to another aspect of the present invention, the vehicle stability control device is further provided, and the transmission / reception means increases the transmission rate of the lateral acceleration during operation of the vehicle stability control device. The transmission rate during operation of the vehicle stability control device is preferably set higher than the transmission rate in other situations, or is preferably a continuous transmission rate.
[0018]
According to such a configuration, during the operation of the vehicle stability control device in which the running state of the vehicle is unstable, a large amount of information on the lateral acceleration particularly necessary for the vehicle stability control is obtained, and the accuracy is improved. High vehicle control can be performed.
[0019]
According to another aspect of the present invention, the transmission / reception means increases the transmission rate of the lateral acceleration during sudden deceleration. For example, in ABS control performed at the time of sudden deceleration, it becomes a problem how much lateral grip force is left for the braking performance of the tire, but in this configuration, the transmission rate of the lateral acceleration is increased, A lot of information about the lateral acceleration can be obtained, and highly accurate vehicle control can be performed.

As described above, during use of the vehicle, the detection device 4 transmits an air pressure signal that does not include a signal related to acceleration to the
[0038]
Hereinafter, processing for generating an instruction for transmitting a signal related to the acceleration received by the wheels, which is performed by the processing device 6 (specifically, the comprehensive control CPU 30) will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG. The intervals T1, T2, T3, and T4 have a relationship of T1 <T2 <T3 <T4, that is, T1 is the shortest and T4 is the longest. T2 is twice T1, T3 is four times T1, and T4 is eight times T1.
[0039]
First, in step S10, it is determined whether or not the DSC device is operating and whether or not sudden braking is applied. If any one is YES in step S1, the process proceeds to step S11, the transmission interval of the lateral acceleration of all the wheels is set to T1, the transmission interval in the centrifugal force direction is set to T3, and the process proceeds to step S12. When DSC / ABS is in operation or when sudden braking is applied, it is necessary to frequently receive lateral acceleration that affects maneuverability in order to precisely control these operations. It is. If NO in step S10, the process proceeds directly to step S12.
[0040]
In step S12, it is determined whether or not the vehicle is traveling on a highway. Whether or not the vehicle is traveling on a highway is determined by information from the navigation system. If YES in step S12, in step S13, the transmission interval of the lateral acceleration of all the wheels is set to T4, a setting is made not to transmit in the centrifugal force direction, and the process proceeds to step S14. On highways, it is rare to suddenly turn a large steering wheel, the road surface condition is relatively good, and the road surface condition does not change frequently, so the transmission frequency emphasizes the reduction of power consumption of the built-in battery. . If NO in step S12, that is, if the vehicle is not traveling on a highway, the process proceeds directly to step S14.
[0041]
In step S14, it is determined whether the vehicle is turning at high speed. If YES in step S14, the transmission interval of the lateral acceleration of the front wheel outside the turn is T1, the transmission interval of the lateral acceleration of the front wheel inside the turn is T2, the transmission interval of the lateral acceleration of the rear wheel is T3, all the wheels in step S15 Is set to T3, and the process proceeds to step S16. This is because the vehicle acceleration is more precisely performed by transmitting the wheel acceleration that has a greater influence on the maneuverability more frequently. In addition, assuming that the friction coefficient and irregularity of the road surface change, vertical acceleration is necessary to perform vehicle control that takes into account the ground contact property of the tire, so that acceleration in the centrifugal force direction is also transmitted. If NO in step S14, that is, if the vehicle is not turning at high speed, the process directly proceeds to step S16.
[0042]
In step S16, it is determined whether the vehicle is turning at a medium speed. If YES in step S16, the transmission interval of the lateral acceleration of the front wheels is set to T2, the transmission interval of the lateral acceleration of the rear wheels is set to T3, and the transmission interval of the acceleration in the centrifugal force direction of all the wheels is set to T2 in step S17. Then, the process proceeds to step S18. This is because the vehicle wheel control is performed more precisely by frequently transmitting the lateral acceleration of the front wheels that greatly affects the maneuverability. In addition, the transmission interval in the centrifugal force direction is increased in order to perform control that places importance on the ride comfort during high-speed turning. If NO in step S16, that is, if the vehicle is not turning at medium speed, the process proceeds to step S18 as it is.
[0043]
In step S18, it is determined whether the speed is low. If YES in step S18, in step S19, the transmission interval of the lateral acceleration of all wheels is set to T4 and the transmission interval in the centrifugal force direction is set to T2, and the process proceeds to step S20. This is mainly due to the emphasis on ride comfort.
[0044]
In step S20, an instruction to transmit a signal regarding the transmission interval (transmission rate) set in step S11, step S13, step S15, step S17, or step S19 and the acceleration of the transmission content to the
[0045]
As described above, T1 to T4 have a relationship in which T2 is twice T1, T3 is four times T1, and T4 is eight times T1. Therefore, when based on the process of step S11, the pneumatic signal including the lateral acceleration signal is sent from every wheel to the

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various changes and modifications can be made within the scope of the matters described in the claims.
[0057]
In the above embodiment, the time intervals T1 to T4 having a predetermined relationship are set for the transmission rate of the signal related to acceleration, but the present invention may be other transmission rates. Also, the content of transmission is not limited to the content of the above embodiment. For example, the transmission rate of centrifugal force direction acceleration is uniformly set to be higher when traveling at low speeds than at high speeds or compared to the transmission rate of lateral accelerations. Or the structure set so that it may become high compared with the transmission rate of the acceleration of a centrifugal force direction may be sufficient. Moreover, the structure which sets the transmission rate of the signal regarding the acceleration of a turning outer wheel relatively high at the time of turning driving | running | working may be sufficient. Furthermore, the configuration may be such that the transmission rate of the front wheels is set higher than the transmission rate of the rear wheels during turning.
[0058]
Further, a configuration may be adopted in which a signal related to acceleration is always added to the air pressure signal, and the
[0059]
In the above embodiment, the vehicle includes a vehicle stability control (DSC) device, an electric power steering device equipped with a variable gear ratio (Variable Gear Ratio) mechanism, and vibration characteristics / length. However, in the present invention, it is not necessary that all of these are provided, and at least one of them or a device that controls the driving characteristics of the vehicle other than these may be provided. Good.
