【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、リヤサイドトリムに対して着脱自在なリヤパッケージトレイが設けられたような車両の後部荷室構造に関する。

【従来の技術】
一般に、左右の各リヤサイドトリムに対してリヤパッケージトレイを設ける場合、背丈の高い荷物の搭載性を考慮して、該リヤパッケージトレイを着脱自在な構造と成すことが望ましい。

また、上述のリヤパッケージトレイを前後方向に折畳み可能に構成すると、折畳まれたリヤパッケージトレイ上には小物を搭載することができ、荷室後部には背丈の高い荷物を搭載することができる。
従来、このようなリヤパッケージトレイを備えた車両の後部荷室構造としては、例えば、特開2001−328488号公報に記載の構造がある。

すなわち、車両の後部座席後方の荷室に、リヤサイドトリムに対して着脱自在なリヤパッケージトレイを備えたものであって、該リヤパッケージトレイは前後方向に折畳み可能となるようにトレイ前部とトレイ後部とを有する一方、左右の各リヤサイドトリムにはフック収納凹部に回動可能に取付けられたフックを備え、このフックを略垂直状態に回動して収納凹部に収納すると共に、フックを略水平状態に回動してリヤパッケージトレイを受けるように構成したものである。

この場合、上述のフックはトレイ前部の車幅方向の左右両端部を受ける前後2箇所と、トレイ後部の車幅方向の左右両端部を受ける前後2箇所との合計8個のフックが設けられているので、リヤパッケージトレイを左右のリヤサイドトリムに対して取付ける際に、複数のフック(片側4個のフック)を水平状態にそれぞれ回動させる必要があり、使い勝手が極めて悪い問題点があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この発明は、前後の基部と支持部とを備えた支持部材を設け、この支持部材をリヤサイドトリムの凹部に対して出没可能に構成することで、右側または左側の片側につきワン操作(1回操作)で支持部材を出し入れすることができ、しかも支持部材によりリヤパッケージトレイ側部の全体を支持し、支持の安定性向上を図ることができ、さらに、上記支持部材の収容時に該支持部材の前後の基部を案内するガイド部材がリヤサイドトリムの裏面に設けられることで、上記ガイド部材により支持部材を出し入れ方向に確実に案内でき、また、リヤサイドトリムの裏面にガイド部材を設けることで、見栄えの悪化がない車両の後部荷室構造の提供を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明による車両の後部荷室構造は、リヤサイドトリムに対して着脱可能なリヤパッケージトレイが設けられた車両の後部荷室構造であって、左右の各リヤサイドトリムに、リヤパッケージトレイの前後端部にわたって延びる支持部と、該支持部の前後端部からリヤサイドトリム側に向けて延出し、リヤサイドトリムに対して出没可能な前後の基部から成る支持部材を設け、上記支持部材の収容時に上記支持部をリヤサイドトリム内に収納する前後方向に延びる凹部が上記リヤサイドトリムに設けられ、上記支持部材の収容時に該支持部材の前後の基部を案内するガイド部材がリヤサイドトリムの裏面に設けられ、上記前後の基部のうち一方の基部はガイド部材の挿通孔に案内され、かつ該基部の端部に係止凹部を形成して、該係止凹部に抜止め部材が係合され、他方の基部は一方の基部と平行な平行部と、該平行部の端部から一方の基部に対して遠ざかる方向に延びる抜止め部とを有し、他方の基部を案内するガイド部材の基部側方かつ引出し位置の上記抜止め部の車室側にはストッパを設けると共に、抜止め部の引出し位置より車外側で平行部の一方の基部対向面側には案内部が設けられ、上記基部および引出し位置にある抜止め部上方に上方案内面を設け、上記基部および抜止め部の移動範囲の下方全域に下方案内面を設け、上記下方案内面における抜止め部の引出し位置と収容位置の近傍に、抜止め部と係合する突起部が設けられたものである。

上記構成によれば、左右の各リヤサイドトリムに、前後の基部と、リヤパッケージトレイの前後端部にわたる支持部とから成る支持部材を出没可能に取付けたので、右側または左側の片側につきワン操作(1回操作)で支持部材を出し入れすることができて、該支持部材の出し入れ操作性の向上を図ることができ、しかも、支持部材によりリヤパッケージトレイ側部の全体(つまりリヤパッケージトレイの車幅方向の端部の前端部と後端部との間の全体)を支持するので、支持の安定性向上を図ることができる。

また、上記支持部材の収容時に該支持部材の前後の基部を案内するガイド部材が、リヤサイドトリムの裏面に設けられたものであるから、上述のガイド部材により支持部材を出し入れ方向に確実に案内でき、また、リヤサイドトリムの裏面にガイド部材を設けたので、見栄えの悪化がない。

さらに、上記前後の基部のうち一方の基部はガイド部材の挿通孔に案内され、かつ該基部の端部に係止凹部を形成して、該係止凹部に抜止め部材が係合され、他方の基部は一方の基部と平行な平行部と、該平行部の端部から一方の基部に対して遠ざかる方向に延びる抜止め部とを有し、他方の基部を案内するガイド部材の基部側方かつ引出し位置の上記抜止め部の車室側にはストッパを設けると共に、抜止め部の引出し位置より車外側で平行部の一方の基部対向面側には案内部が設けられたものであるから、他方の基部は平行部と抜止め部とを有し、支持部材それ自体の構造により出入れ性と抜止め性とを確保する構成となり、支持部材の出入れ操作(引出し、収容動作)の安定性が確保できるうえ、少ない部品点数にて支持部材の抜止めを行なうことができる。

加えて、上記下方案内面における抜止め部の引出し位置と収容位置の近傍に、抜止め部と係合する突起部が設けられたものであるから、支持部材の引出し、収容の各動作に節度感いわゆるスナップアクションが得られる。

この発明の一実施例を以下図面に基づいて詳述する。
図面は車両の後部荷室構造を示すが、この実施例の構造は左右対称に構成されているので、以下の説明においては、その右側の後部荷室構造について説明する。

図1において上部縦壁1と、水平部2と、下部縦壁3とを備えたリヤサイドトリム4を設け、このリヤサイドトリム4の水平部2近傍の下部縦壁3の上域部には車外側へ窪む凹部5を設けている。

この凹部5は前後方向に延びるもので、該凹部5の前後方向の中間部には上下方向に拡大された拡大凹部6を一体形成して、この拡大凹部6の凹部の深さを他の凹部5の深さよりも深く設定している(図8、図9参照)。
上述のリヤサイドフレーム4における凹部5には支持部材としての金属パイプ製の支持棒7を出没可能に取付けている。
