従来、その面状弾性体による座面部を有するシートを組み立てるには、樹脂枠を面状弾性体の周端縁に備え、この樹脂枠をシートフレームの軸線上に設けた凹溝に嵌め込んで面状弾性体の端末を止着し、または、面状弾性体の周端縁をそのままシートフレームの軸線上に回し込んで押えプレートと共にねじ止め固定することにより、面状弾性体をシートフレームの枠内に張設配置するものとして提案されている。然し、このシートでは座面部の面位置よりも大きく***する土手部を形成できないことから着座時のホールド性に欠ける。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、添付図面を参照して説明すると、図示実施の形態は図1で示すように車輌用シートにおいてシートバックB並びにシートクッションCを各々組み立てるのに適用されている。この車輌シートの各部B,Cは、略四辺形枠状のシートフレーム1,10と、座面部を形成する面状弾性体2,11と、大きな***の土手部を形成するパッド部材3,12と、パッド部材3,12を被包する表皮材4,13とから組み立てられている。

パッド部材3は発泡ウレタン等のクッションフォーム体でなり、シートバックフレーム1の前面,側面または背面側に嵌り合う嵌合凹部3aを備えて所定の横断面形状に発泡成形されている。そのパッド部材3はシートバックフレーム1の各辺毎に個別に形成し、また、シートバックフレーム1の枠形状に合わせて全体を連続の一体ものに形成するようにもできる。

表皮材4の片端末には、ポリプロピレン,ポリエチレン等の樹脂プレート5a,5bが縫い付けられている。この樹脂プレート5a,5bは表皮材4の端末を挟んで両側または後述する如く抜き穴に嵌め合わされる突起の突端側のみに配置させて縫着するようにでき、その板面には複数個の抜き穴6a,6b…が所定の間隔毎に設けられている。また、他端末には樹脂プレート5a,5bと同様な樹脂製の掛止めプレート7が縫着されている。

シートバックフレーム2には、そのシートバックフレーム1の軸線を内部に埋込み挿通し、且つ、面状弾性体の縁回りを内部に取込み固着することによりシートバックレーム1を基枠とする土手基部8が一体に樹脂成形されている。この土手基部8は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート,ポリプロピレン,ポリエチレン等の合成樹脂からインジェクション成形することによりパイプフレーム2の軸線に沿って樹脂成形されている。

面状弾性体2は、端末をクランプ等で挟んで適度な張力で周囲より引張支持させて縁回りを型内に組み付け、土手基部8をインジェクション成形することから土手基部8の枠内に張設配置するよう一体に成形できる。

そのシートバックB並びにシートクッションCは、スライドレール16a,16bで摺動自在に立付け支持されるブラケットプレート17a,17bに取り付け、このブラケットプレート17a,17bを外装カバー18a,18bで覆うことにより前後位置調整可能な通常のシートと同様に構成することができる。また、片側のブラケップレート17bにはリクライニング機構19を備えることによりリクライニングシートとして構成することもできる。

以上の如く、本発明に係る面状弾性体による座面を有するシートに依れば、表皮材の周端縁を土手基部の前面側に端末止着し、パッド部材を土手基部に嵌め合わせて表皮材の周端縁を土手基部と一体に嵌合凹部で挟み込み、パッド部材を前記表皮材で包み込んで土手部を形成することから、ホールド性,着座性に優れたシートとして簡単な構造で堅牢なものに組み立てることができる。
