Claims (2)
- 電解質電極ユニット(3)と接続導体板(5)とからなる板状の2つの構成部材(3、5)と、該構成部材に燃料電池の作動ガスが接するように構成したガス室(7、9)と、前記構成部材(3、5)間に枠状に配置され、構成部材(3、5)を互いに隔離して前記ガス室の周囲に対してガス室(7、9)を封鎖するシール(11)とを備えたポリマー電解質膜燃料電池(1)において、
前記シール(11)の少なくとも作動ガスと接する部分の材料は、カーボンブラックが充填され、ビスフェノールで網状結合された弗素ゴムからなり、前記弗素ゴムは弗素ポリメチレンゴムであって、そのショアA硬さ数は60〜85であることを特徴とするポリマー電解質膜燃料電池(1)。 - 前記シール(11)は構成部材(3、5)の各々をはめ込まれ燃料電池ブロックに安定性を与える接続体をなすことを特徴とする請求項1記載のポリマー電解質膜燃料電池(1)を多数備えた燃料電池ブロック(1)。
