BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vibration generator that generates vibration by rotating a rotor, and an electronic apparatus having the vibration generator.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Taking a mobile phone as an example of an electronic device, the mobile phone has a structure that can notify a user of an incoming call by generating vibration in a so-called manner mode. Such a cellular phone incorporates a vibration generator as a vibration actuator that generates vibration.
As this type of vibration generator, there is a small vibration motor having a vibration generating eccentric weight. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent No. 3187029 (
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the structure of the conventional vibration generator as described above has the following problems.
When such a motor with a brush is used, there is a problem in reliability of the vibration generating operation because the non-rotation failure due to the so-called slit short cannot be made zero.
Further, the motor body can be reduced to, for example, a diameter of 3.5 mm, but there is a problem that the rotational speed and the power consumption are excessively increased. As for power consumption, it is clear from the viewpoint of the battery life of a portable device such as a cellular phone that the lower one is better.
Due to the demand for downsizing and thinning of electronic devices to which such a vibration generator is to be mounted, it is desired to reduce the size and simplify the structure of the vibration generator and the electronic device having the device.
[0005]
Moreover, since the rotor of such a vibration generator has a high rotational speed, it is desirable that the rotor rotate so as not to swing. In another conventional type of vibration generator, a shaft is fixed to the rotor, and the rotating shaft of the rotor is inserted into the bearing of the stator and rotates. For this reason, since the rotor rotates together with the rotating shaft, shaft runout is likely to occur when rotating at a high speed. This causes the rotor to perform a so-called rush motion and wear on the sliding portion between the rotor and the stator. Therefore, there is a problem that the life of the vibration generator is short. For this reason, the appearance of a vibration generator that can rotate the rotor at a high rotation speed with which shaft runout hardly occurs is desired.
Therefore, the present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, and when the rotor of the vibration generating device having a weight rotates, the vibration is less likely to cause shaft vibration and can cope with the downsizing and thinning of the electronic device to be mounted. It aims at providing the electronic device which has a generator and a vibration generator.
[0006]

[0008]
As a result, the rotor bearing can be rotated with respect to the stator-side fixed shaft, so that the rotor rubbing can be performed in comparison with the conventional method in which the rotor-side shaft is rotatably supported with respect to the stator-side bearing. In addition, since the rotor-side bearing is rotatably supported with respect to the stator-side fixed shaft, even when the axial length of the vibration generator is reduced, the shaft at which the rotor of the vibration generator rotates The runout can be minimized. As a result, the vibration generator can be reduced in thickness and size.

Thereby, since the magnetic attraction force generated in the thrust direction is reduced, friction in the thrust direction between the end face of the bearing of the rotor and the sheet can be reduced, and the life of the vibration generator can be extended.
[0019]
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, in the vibration generating device according to the first aspect, the stator yoke is made of a nonmagnetic material or a soft magnetic material.
[0020]
According to the seventh aspect, since the stator yoke is made of a nonmagnetic material or a soft magnetic material, the rotor has a thrust direction generated with respect to the stator side as compared with the case where the stator yoke is made of a magnetically permeable material or a ferromagnetic material. Magnetic attraction can be reduced. For this reason, wear of the sliding portion between the rotor and the stator can be prevented, and the life of the vibration generator can be extended.

Since the magnetic attractive force generated in the thrust direction is reduced in this way, friction in the thrust direction between the end face of the bearing of the rotor and the sheet can be reduced, and the life of the vibration generator can be extended.
[0032]
According to a thirteenth aspect of the present invention, in the electronic device having the vibration generating device according to the eighth aspect, the plate-like coil of the stator has a plurality of driving patterns, and the stator yoke has a driving force of the driving pattern. A hole for reducing the magnetic attractive force generated in the thrust direction is provided at a position not contributing to the generation.
[0033]
In the thirteenth aspect, the flat plate-like coil of the stator has a plurality of drive patterns. The stator yoke has a hole for reducing the magnetic attractive force generated in the thrust direction at a position that does not contribute to the generation of the driving force of the driving pattern.
Accordingly, since the magnetic attractive force generated in the thrust direction is reduced, friction in the thrust direction between the end face of the bearing of the rotor and the sheet can be reduced, and the life of the vibration generator can be extended.
[0034]
According to a fourteenth aspect of the present invention, in the electronic apparatus having the vibration generating device according to the eighth aspect, the stator yoke is made of a nonmagnetic material or a soft magnetic material.
[0035]
According to the fourteenth aspect, since the stator yoke is made of a nonmagnetic material or a soft magnetic material, the rotor is formed in the thrust direction generated with respect to the stator side as compared with the case where the stator yoke is made of a magnetically permeable material or a ferromagnetic material. Magnetic attraction can be reduced. For this reason, wear of the sliding portion between the rotor and the stator can be prevented, and the life of the vibration generator can be extended.

The fixed shaft 91 is set to have a considerably short length along the central axis CL, and the fixed shaft 91 is made of, for example, stainless steel. The end surfaces of the one end and the other end of the fixed shaft 91 are not flat surfaces but convex curved surfaces. [0079]
In the embodiment of the present invention, the flat coil 120 is preferably configured by laminating a plurality of wiring boards. Each of the plurality of wiring boards is called a laminate coil. Each laminate coil is formed by placing a coil copper wire inside, for example, polycarbonate which is an insulating material.
The flat coil 120 is directly attached and fixed to the flat stator yoke 47 with an adhesive or the like. However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the flat coil 120 may of course be fixed by caulking or pinching that is mechanically fixed to the stator yoke.
[0080]
The thrust bearing portion according to the embodiment of the present invention supports the rotor in the thrust direction so as to be rotatable with respect to the stator by rubbing, for example, one sheet or two sheets. In this case, in order to reduce the magnetic attractive force in the thrust direction and reduce the mechanical loss in the thrust bearing portion in the thrust direction, the inside of the drive pattern of the flat coil 120 and the corresponding portion of the stator yoke Has a hole.
[0081]
Some electronic components can be electrically connected to the surface layer electrode of the flat coil 120 by, for example, wire bonding.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the stator-side fixed shaft can be fixed to the lid member and the stator yoke by welding, for example, with a YAG laser. However, the fixing method of the fixed shaft is not limited to welding, and may of course be adhesion, press fitting, or caulking. Both ends of the fixed shaft may be spherical, but a flat surface is more preferable as described above.
[0082]
An oil is interposed between the fixed side sheet and the rotating side sheet (also referred to as a movable side sheet) of the thrust bearing portion, and the structure can rotate between them. The rotation side sheet can be fixed to the end portion of the bearing portion by adhesion or press fitting. The fixed side sheet may be fixed to the inner surface of the stator yoke, which is the bottom plate, by adhesion, press fitting, caulking, or the like. The bearing of the rotor can be composed of, for example, PPS containing carbon fiber. Of course, the cylindrical bearing is not limited to plastic but may be sintered metal.
[0083]
In the embodiment of the present invention, by making the rotor bearing rotatable relative to the stator side fixed shaft, the conventional rotor side shaft is rotatably supported with respect to the stator side bearing. The rotor does not have a rubbing motion and does not cause shaft runout when the rotor rotates. That is, the wear of the sliding portion between the rotor bearing and the stator fixed shaft is reduced, and the life of the vibration generator is extended.
As the axial length of the bearing approaches the length of the fixed shaft, the shaft runout of the rotor is further eliminated.
[0084]
In the embodiment of the present invention, when the stator yoke is made of a nonmagnetic material or a soft magnetic material, the nonmagnetic material is, for example, stainless steel, aluminum, or plastic. As the metal soft magnetic material, plastic, for example, a plastic containing a ferromagnetic material or a plastic containing a soft magnetic material can be used. In this case, the stator yoke may or may not be provided with the
Further, when the stator yoke is made of a magnetically permeable material or a ferromagnetic material, the magnetic attractive force between the rotor and the stator can be reduced even if the

Examples of the electronic device having the vibration generating device of the present invention are not limited to a mobile phone, but also include other types of portable communication devices such as a portable information terminal, a computer, and devices in other fields.
[0086]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, when a rotor of a vibration generating device having a weight rotates, shaft vibration does not easily occur, the life is long, and the electronic device to be mounted is reduced in size and thickness. Can respond.
