BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a composite sensor for automatic doors, and more particularly, to a composite sensor for doors that detects an object using, for example, radio waves and light.
[0002]
[Prior art]
An example of this type of door composite sensor is disclosed in Non-Patent Document 1. According to the door composite sensor disclosed in Non-Patent Document 1, a microwave transmission / reception unit and an infrared light projecting / receiving unit are provided in one housing. Microwaves are used to detect an object that moves toward a door, that is, a so-called passing object that tries to pass through the door. When the traveling body is detected by the microwave, the door is opened. As a result, the vehicle can pass through the door. On the other hand, infrared rays are used to detect a vehicle that is stationary in the vicinity of the door. While the vehicle is detected by the infrared rays, the door is kept open. As a result, an accident that the vehicle is pinched by the door is prevented, and the safety of the vehicle is ensured.

[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, the infrared rays (wavelength bands) used in the door composite sensor as described above are easily affected by disturbances such as rain and snow. Specifically, the rain and snow are reflected by the human body. It has the property that it is also reflected by. Therefore, in the conventional compound sensor for doors using infrared rays, when rain or snow is falling, such rain or snow is detected as a passing object by mistake, and there is a passing object in the vicinity of the door. In spite of not doing, there is a problem that the door is opened, that is, the automatic door malfunctions.
[0005]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a door composite sensor that can reduce malfunction of an automatic door due to the influence of disturbance such as rain and snow.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
This inventionFor a door that forms a first area for detecting an object using radio waves at a position away from the door and forms a second area for detecting an object using light at a position along the door A compound sensor,A second area evaluation unit that validates the detection result in the second area when an object is detected in the first area and invalidates the detection result in the second area when no object is detected in the first area; Is.
[0007]
That is,In this invention,A first area for detecting a passing body moving toward the door is formed at a position away from the door. Radio waves are used to detect a vehicle in the first area. And the 2nd area for detecting the passing body which is still in the vicinity of the door concerned is formed in the position which meets the door. Light is used for detecting a vehicle in the second area. However,Only when a vehicle is detected in the first area, the detection result in the second area is validated by the second area evaluation means, and in other cases, the detection result in the second area is invalidated. The In other words, the detection result in the first area is triggered by the detection result in the first area formed by radio waves that are less susceptible to disturbances such as rain and snow than the light used to form the second area. Is enabled or disabled. Therefore, for example, even if rain or snow is mistakenly detected as a vehicle in the second area, as long as there is no vehicle in the first area, the detection result in the second area is the detection result of the entire composite sensor for doors. Is not reflected.
[0008]
In addition,The second area evaluation meansThe detection result in the second area may be validated when the vehicle is continuously detected in a first period in the first area. If it does in this way, the detection result in the 2nd area will be validated not only when the passing body was detected in the 1st area but also when this state is continued over the 1st period. Therefore, for example, only objects that have a shorter period in the first area than the first period, in other words, objects that are unlikely to pass through the door, such as objects that simply cross the front of the door, are detected. When the detection result in the second area is not validated. The detection result in the second area is validated only when a true passing body having a high possibility of passing through the door is detected. That is, the detection result in the second area can be prevented from being unnecessarily validated.
[0009]
Also,The second area evaluation meansWhen a passing body is detected in the first area, the detection result in the second area may be validated over a certain second period, that is, only in the second period. As described above, it is possible to prevent the detection result in the second area from being unnecessarily validated by limiting the period during which the detection result in the second area is validated.
[0010]
Furthermore, the second area evaluation means may validate the detection result in the second area even when a passing body is continuously detected in the second area over the third period. That is, regardless of the detection result in the first area, the detection result in the second area may be validated even when the vehicle is continuously detected in the second area over the third period. . Thus, the detection result in the second area can be validated or invalidated using the detection result of the second area itself as a trigger. However, even if rain or snow is erroneously detected as a passing body in the second area, if the state does not continue for the third period, that is, it occurs only once, the detection result in the second area Is not reflected in the detection result of the door composite sensor as a whole.
