この発明は放送系番組受信記録再生装置に係わり、特に、ランダムアクセス可能な記録媒体に番組および番組情報を記録可能な受信機に好適な放送系番組受信記録再生装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
放送系の番組をランダムアクセス可能な記録媒体に記録するホームサーバにおいて、記録番組の収録時間や残りの記録可能な時間を直観的に分かりやすくするように、再生に要する時間や追加記録可能な時間を利用者の視聴状況に応じて表示面積の大小で表すようにした放送系番組受信記録再生装置が特開２００１−１１１９２９に提案されている。

図５に上記特開２００１−１１１９２９に提案された放送系番組受信記録再生装置の構成を示す。図に示すアンテナ１により番組情報と番組自体の信号が受信され、図示していないチューナで復調した後、リモートコントローラ（以下リモコンと称する）の各種スイッチ１１の一つである録画開始スイッチを押した場合に番組情報は番組情報記録手段３がＤＶＤ等の記録媒体に記録し、また番組自体は番組記録手段２がＭＰＥＧ（Moving Picture Experts Group) ２方式で圧縮してＤＶＤ等の記録媒体に記録する。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明の放送系番組受信記録再生装置は、放送系の番組および番組情報を受信する受信手段と、前記受信した番組および番組情報を夫々記録する番組記録手段および番組情報記録手段と、前記記録された番組情報を再生する番組情報再生手段と、前記記録された番組を速度の異なる複数の方式で再生する番組再生手段と、現在時刻情報を得る時計と、前記記録された番組を夫々の方式で再生する再生時間を夫々算出する再生時間長算出手段と、前記番組情報記録手段から取得した特定の番組情報より得られた再生方式または前記再生方式と異なる再生方式により再生時間長算出手段を特定する再生時間算出法選択手段と、前記再生時間算出法選択手段で選択された再生時間長算出手段により算出した前記特定の番組情報の番組の再生時間を表示する表示手段とを備え、さらに、番組の視聴予約する番組予約手段と、記録された番組の再生を予約する再生予約手段とを備え、予約された視聴番組の視聴時刻と予約した番組の再生時刻が重なるときは、再生する速度を変えて前記視聴時刻と再生時刻とが重ならなくなる場合に表示手段にそれを表示するものである。
