Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a disk device that transfers a head by meshing between a rotating gear and a rack, and more particularly to a disk device that can prevent rattling due to meshing backlash between the rotating gear and the rack.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a disk apparatus such as an optical recording system, methods for transferring the head along the recording surface of the disk include those described in Patent Document 1 and
[0003]
In this type of disk device, in order to feed the head with high accuracy and to prevent the head from rattling, it is necessary to eliminate the backlash formed in the power transmission path to the moving part on which the head is mounted. .
[0004]
Conventionally, in a transfer system using a screw shaft as described in Patent Document 1, the occurrence of backlash is suppressed by pressing the engagement portion with an urging force such as a leaf spring. In addition, the device described in

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional backlash removing means applies a pressing force in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction to the screw shaft and the rotating gear, and therefore has a drawback that the rotational load of the screw shaft and the rotating gear increases. is there.
[0007]
In particular, the rack and the rotating gear used in
[0008]
The present invention solves the above-described conventional overload, and eliminates backlash of meshing without applying excessive pressure in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the rotating gear in the transfer system using the rack and the rotating gear. An object of the present invention is to provide a disk device that can perform recording.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides a rotary drive unit that holds and rotates a disk, a moving unit that has a head and a rack that perform at least one of reproduction and recording of signals to the disk, and guides the moving unit in the direction in which the rack extends. In a disk device provided with guide means and a rotating gear that meshes with the rack and applies a moving force in the guide direction by the guide means to the rack.
At least one of the teeth of the rotating gear and the teeth of the rack is formed obliquely with respect to an orthogonal line orthogonal to the moving direction of the moving part,
The moving portion is provided with an urging means for applying an urging force to the rack, and the rack teeth are oriented in the axial direction of the rotating gear with respect to the teeth of the rotating gear by the urging force. It is characterized by being repressed.
[0010]
The disk is an optical recording system, a magneto-optical recording system, a magnetic recording system, or the like, and the head also corresponds to these disks. In the present invention, backlash can be eliminated by elastically pressing the rack and the rotating gear with an urging force having a pressing component in the axial direction of the rotating gear. Therefore, it is not necessary to apply an excessive pressing force in the direction orthogonal to the axis of the rotating gear, and an increase in the rotational load of the rotating gear can be prevented.
[0011]
The present invention can be configured such that both the pressing component along the axial direction and the pressing component toward the shaft are given to the rack by the biasing means.
[0012]
In the present invention, the pressing component toward the shaft is not essential, but if both the pressing components are applied, the teeth of the rack and the teeth of the rotating gear can be more reliably engaged.
[0013]
In the above case, the urging means applies a rotational urging force around an imaginary line extending in the moving direction of the moving portion to the rack. For example, the moving part has a head base on which a head is mounted, the head base is slidably supported on a guide shaft constituting the guide means, and the rack is also slidable on the guide shaft. The biasing means applies a rotational biasing force around the centerline of the guide shaft to the rack.
[0014]
In the structure that gives the rotation biasing force to the rack, both the pressing components can be given by a simple mechanism.
[0015]
In the present invention, the rotating gear is a helical gear having teeth inclined with respect to the axial direction of the rotating shaft, and the teeth of the rack are formed parallel to the orthogonal line, or the helical gear. It can be configured as being inclined in the same direction as the gear teeth.
[0016]
Alternatively, the rotating gear may be a spur gear, and the rack teeth may be inclined with respect to the orthogonal line.
