Description
【0001】

▲2▼ pH制御の制御対象がポンプ42ではなくポンプ43である点;
▲3▼ アルカリ性化合物に代え酸性化合物を用いる点(この酸性化合物の導入手段は、通常、酸性化合物の貯槽34、酸性化合物供給用のライン24及び該ラインの任意点に配置されるポンプ44にて構成する);

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention obtains electrolyzed water that stably contains high-concentration residual chlorine obtained by performing diaphragm membrane electrolysis using an aqueous chloride solution as a raw material, and then transfers the electrolyzed water to a use location. The present invention relates to a method for producing residual chlorine-containing water having an effective sterilizing ability against spore bacteria by dilution to a predetermined concentration and an apparatus therefor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Obtained by electrolysis of high-concentration sodium chloride aqueous solution as a chlorine-based disinfectant for prevention of hospital infection in hospitals, control of environmental bacteria in food distribution, hygiene management of cooked foods, and control of bacteria in food production factories Strongly acidic anode water obtained by subjecting sodium hypochlorite or sodium chloride aqueous solution to diaphragm membrane electrolysis is used. For applications such as clean water disinfectants, high-concentration hypochlorous acid obtained by electrolyzing a saturated aqueous solution of sodium chloride with a diaphragm and absorbing the chlorine gas obtained on the anode side into caustic soda obtained on the cathode side Acid soda is widely used.
[0003]
However, the above-mentioned sodium hypochlorite is required to control the pH by adding HCl or the like at the site of use in order to exert a stronger sterilizing effect in the aqueous solution and also sterilize spores. The For this reason, it is inconvenient in terms of handling safety and food hygiene law to be used for sterilization of foods in general households and kitchens of restaurants, etc., and for use in large-scale facilities such as food factories. In addition to the problems in the Food Sanitation Law, there is a problem that the cost required for sterilization increases because a large amount is required.
[0004]
Strongly acidic anode water obtained by subjecting a sodium chloride aqueous solution to diaphragm membrane electrolysis has emerged as a solution to these problems, but when the residual chlorine concentration exceeds 15 ppm, the anode water has a pH of 3 or less. Since chlorine gas diffuses from the atmosphere to the atmosphere, inevitably changes occur, and the residual chlorine concentration in the anode water decreases, so that the sterilizing effect cannot be specified. Therefore, the anode water must be produced at the point of use and used as soon as possible. In addition, since the properties of the anode water change due to changes in water quality and water pressure for preparing a sodium chloride aqueous solution at different production locations, the residual chlorine concentration is not stable, and the anode water is widely distributed. Currently, there is a strong demand for stabilization of properties. Furthermore, the release of chlorine gas requires safety in the work environment.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a user with residual chlorine-containing water that can sterilize stable quality spores safely and inexpensively.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
That is, the present invention uses a chloride aqueous solution as an electrolytic solution and electrolyzes it with a diaphragm to obtain electrolyzed water containing a high concentration of residual chlorine stably (hereinafter referred to as “Method A”). The electrolyte solution introduced into the anode chamber of the electrolysis apparatus contains an alkaline compound, and the anode chamber is operated in a full liquid state and the ultraviolet ray is blocked, and is discharged from the anode chamber. The anolyte, which is electrolyzed water, is filled in a receiving container capable of preventing the flow of air and the transmission of ultraviolet rays in a state where there is no gas phase and ultraviolet rays are blocked. In the present specification, “residual chlorine” means that measured by the orthotolidine aluenite method unless otherwise specified.
[0007]
In Method A, adding an alkaline compound to the electrolyte to be electrolyzed may be adding or mixing an aqueous solution of the alkaline compound from outside the system directly into the anode chamber or into the electrolyte to be introduced into the anode chamber. The adjustment of the input amount or the mixing amount is performed based on the deviation between the set value of the pH of the anolyte and the detected value, and the adjustment of the residual chlorine concentration in the anolyte is adjusted to the anode. It is preferably performed by controlling the current and / or voltage supplied to the electrolysis apparatus based on the deviation between the set value of the residual chlorine concentration in the liquid and the detected value (hereinafter referred to as “Method A-1a”). .
[0008]
The inclusion of an alkaline compound in the electrolyte solution allows at least the catholyte that is electrolyzed water discharged from the cathode chamber of the electrolysis device to be directly introduced into the anode chamber or into the electrolyte solution introduced into the anode chamber. The amount of the catholyte charged or mixed is adjusted based on the deviation between the set value of the pH of the anolyte and the detected value, and in the anolyte. The residual chlorine concentration in the anolyte is adjusted by controlling the current and / or voltage supplied to the electrolysis apparatus based on the deviation between the set value of the residual chlorine concentration in the anolyte and the detected value (hereinafter referred to as “method”). A-1b ”).
[0009]
In the method A-1b, it is preferable that a predetermined amount of an aqueous solution of an alkaline compound is quantitatively added or quantitatively mixed in advance from outside the system directly into the anode chamber or into the electrolyte to be introduced into the anode chamber. Since the purpose is to stabilize the control, the amount may be appropriately determined in view of the balance between the amount of acid generated in the anode chamber and the amount of alkali in the catholyte introduced into the anode chamber. The aqueous solution of the alkaline compound is preferably an aqueous sodium hydroxide solution from the viewpoint of ease of handling and availability.
[0010]
In addition, the inclusion of an alkaline compound in the electrolytic solution supplies an aqueous solution of chloride as the electrolytic solution to be supplied to the electrolytic device only to the cathode chamber of the electrolytic device, and the electrolytic water discharged from the cathode chamber. The amount of the catholyte introduced into the anode chamber is adjusted by adjusting the amount of the catholyte introduced into the anode chamber. And the adjustment of the residual chlorine concentration in the anolyte is supplied to the electrolyzer based on the difference between the set value of the residual chlorine concentration in the anolyte and the detected value. It may be performed by controlling current and / or voltage (hereinafter referred to as “Method A-1c”).
[0011]
In Method A-1c, it is preferable that a predetermined amount of an acidic compound is quantitatively charged or quantitatively mixed in advance with a chloride aqueous solution as an electrolyte to be supplied directly to the cathode chamber or supplied to the cathode chamber. Since the purpose is to stabilize the control, the amount can be appropriately determined by considering the balance between the amount of alkali in the catholyte circulated to the anode chamber and the amount of acid generated in the anode chamber. Good. As the aqueous solution of the acidic compound, a hydrochloric acid aqueous solution is preferable from the viewpoint of ease of handling and availability.
[0012]
The set value of the pH of the anolyte in method A (meaning including methods A-1a, -1b, and -1c) is the sterilizing effect required for the residual chlorine-containing water finally produced in the present invention and the place where it is used. Taking into account the stability of high-concentration residual chlorine-containing water up to 6 ± 1.5 as a guide.
[0013]
Furthermore, the manufacturing method (Method A) of the present invention uses, in addition to all the above-mentioned features, a container whose volume can be varied as the receiving container, and the anolyte is added to the anolyte without forming a gas phase therein. Filling into the receiving vessel increases the volume corresponding to the amount received, while receiving the anolyte under watertight conditions into the receiving vessel whose internal volume is initially near zero. The method is characterized in that the volume is reduced in correspondence with the amount of the anolyte transferred from the container to the user under watertight conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Method A-2”).
[0014]
Furthermore, the present invention transfers electrolyzed water that stably contains high-concentration residual chlorine obtained by subjecting a chloride aqueous solution to diaphragm membrane electrolysis to the place of use without impairing its stability, and at the place of use, Is a method for producing residual chlorine-containing water having an effective sterilizing ability against spore bacteria (hereinafter referred to as “method B”), and the electrolyzed water discharged from the anode chamber of the electrolytic cell Filling the anolyte into an anolyte receiving vessel capable of preventing air flow and ultraviolet light transmission without forming a gas phase therein, and the anolyte from the receiving vessel into the gas phase therein. It is necessary to fill the transfer container that can prevent the air flow and the transmission of ultraviolet rays without forming water, and to make the anolyte from the transfer container in contact with the outside air at the point of use. Until the residual chlorine concentration is also characterized by the fact that withdrawing while easily and accurately diluted with water.
[0015]
Here, it is preferable that the said receiving container is a bag-shaped container used in the aspect which immersed it in water. The advantage of the bag-like container is that the air present in the container is well eliminated when the anolyte is first filled into the receiving container, and the discharge of the anolyte from the container is performed in the atmosphere. It is possible to perform smoothly in a state where contact with is interrupted. On the other hand, the advantage of using the container in a submerged state is that the stress applied to the container due to the change in the internal volume of the container can be alleviated, and further into and out of it. The reception and discharge of the anolyte can be performed more smoothly in a state where contact with the atmosphere is cut off as much as water pressure is applied.
[0016]
The water is more preferably a saturated solution of slaked lime. The advantage resides in that the release of chlorine gas from the anolyte can be suppressed if the receiving container is broken.
[0017]
Moreover, it is preferable that the said container for transfer is a bag-shaped container accommodated in the box which can receive this container at the time of the maximum capacity in it. The advantage of being a bag-like container is the same as that of the receiving container. On the other hand, the advantage of accommodating the container in the box is that the container can be prevented from being shaken during transfer, and the box itself is made of ultraviolet rays. This is because it is not necessary to give such consideration to the container if it has a blocking effect, and furthermore, it is possible to prevent the destruction factor from entering the container from the outside. The material of the box may be a material that can prevent the destruction of the destruction factor such as a plastic or metal material when the box is required to have a function of preventing the entry of the destruction factor of the container. On the other hand, cardboard may be used only for the purpose of suppressing the shaking of the container during transfer and blocking ultraviolet rays.
[0018]
Furthermore, it is preferable that the box body is formed by holding slaked lime powder in the internal space of the container for transfer at the maximum volume. The advantage resides in that the release of chlorine gas from the anolyte can be suppressed if the transfer container is damaged.
[0019]
In addition, as a method for extracting the anolyte from the transfer container at the point of use while easily and accurately diluting the anolyte with water to the required residual chlorine concentration without exposing it to the outside air, the method can absorb the fluctuation of the dilution water pressure or dilution. It is sufficient that the amount of water is not affected by fluctuations in water pressure and can dilute the anolyte accurately to a predetermined concentration. As such, there are two cylinders that are arranged in a state where their spaces are separated from each other with the same axis, and pistons that can be slid onto the inner walls of these cylinders, The lower space of the cylinder formed by the cylinder and the piston that is intermittently discharged from the cylinder to the outlet of the upper cylinder for dilution water (the space between the top dead center and the bottom dead center of the piston) A flow path restricted so that the accurately measured dilution water can pass at high speed, while the lower space of the cylinder formed by the cylinder and the piston at the outlet of the lower cylinder ( A watertight line is formed to connect the anode water accurately measured in the space between the top dead center and the bottom dead center of the piston to the restricted flow path. In addition, a check valve is provided at each of the upper cylinder inlet, the lower cylinder inlet, and the lower piston (the flow restricting direction is opposite to the inlet of the upper cylinder: dilution water flowing into the cylinder). Direction of the lower cylinder, the direction opposite to the flow of the anode water into the cylinder, the lower piston: the direction from the upper space of the lower cylinder to the lower space, that is, the lower piston has an upper space of the lower cylinder A hole communicating with the lower space is drilled, and the check valve controls the opening and closing of the hole), but when the upper piston reaches the top dead center, the upper piston A hole is formed in the piston so that the space and the lower space can communicate with each other, and a valve that is closed when the upper piston reaches bottom dead center is provided. It is preferable to use are apparatus.
[0020]
The inlet of the upper cylinder of the apparatus is connected to a water supply source, for example, piping, and the inlet of the lower cylinder is connected to a container for moving the anode water, such as piping, of the flow path. At the outlet of the restricting portion, means for communicating with the place of use, for example, piping is connected. Here, it is preferable that a detachable attachment having a shut-off valve is disposed in advance at an end portion on the container side of the means for communicating with the container for moving the anode water.
[0021]
Furthermore, the present invention uses an aqueous chloride solution as an electrolytic solution, and electrolyzes it with diaphragm to obtain electrolyzed water that stably contains high concentration of residual chlorine, and then uses the electrolyzed water at its use location. In a method of transporting without impairing stability and diluting to a predetermined concentration at the point of use to produce residual chlorine-containing water having effective disinfecting ability against spore bacteria (hereinafter referred to as “Method A + B”) The electrolyte to be introduced into the anode chamber of the electrolysis apparatus is allowed to contain an alkaline compound, and the anode chamber is operated in a full liquid state and the ultraviolet ray is blocked, and is discharged from the anode chamber. Filling an anolyte, which is electrolyzed water, into a receiving container capable of preventing the flow of air and the transmission of ultraviolet light in a state where there is no gas phase and ultraviolet light is blocked. Fill the transfer container that can prevent the flow of air and the transmission of ultraviolet rays without forming a gas phase therein, and touch the anolyte from the transfer container to the outside air at the point of use. It may be characterized in that it is extracted while being diluted with water to the required residual chlorine concentration.
[0022]
On the other hand, the present invention uses an aqueous chloride solution as an electrolytic solution and electrolyzes it with a diaphragm to obtain electrolyzed water containing a high concentration of residual chlorine stably (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus A”). And an electrolytic cell separated into at least an anode chamber having an anode therein and a cathode chamber having a cathode therein through a diaphragm; and means for supplying an aqueous chloride solution as an electrolyte solution And means for receiving an anolyte which is electrolyzed water produced in the anode chamber; and means for supplying an alkaline compound to the anode chamber; and further comprising means for receiving the anode chamber and the anolyte. It is characterized by having a structure that does not form a gas phase therein and a structure and / or a property that can block ultraviolet rays (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus A1”).
[0023]
Here, the supply means of chloride aqueous solution (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus A1-a”) includes a water supply source; and a concentrated chloride aqueous solution storage tank (concentrated chloride aqueous solution and water separately before being supplied to the electrolyzer). And a means for communicating between the water supply source, the anode chamber and the cathode chamber (hereinafter referred to as “communication means A1”) (usually piping and pump—sufficiently) It is not necessary when there is a high water pressure-and it is configured with the required valve. This pipe should be shared for the anode chamber and the cathode chamber halfway, and branched for each at a predetermined point. ); And communication means (hereinafter referred to as “communication means A2”) between the concentrated chloride aqueous solution storage tank and the communication means (A1) (usually composed of a pipe, a pump, and a required valve. Any point of the piping of the communication means (A1) One end of the connecting means (A1) is preferably connected to an arbitrary point between the delivery of the pump and the branch for the anode chamber / cathode chamber) (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus A1-a1”). In place of the concentrated chloride aqueous solution storage tank, a chloride aqueous solution storage tank (in the case where chloride is dissolved in water in advance to prepare an electrolytic solution of a predetermined concentration. In this case, instead of the communication means (A1) and the communication means (A2), the water supply source and the chloride aqueous solution storage tank may be provided. Communication means (hereinafter referred to as "communication means A0") (necessary when dissolving in the chloride aqueous solution storage tank. Normally, piping and pump-not required if sufficient water pressure is present-and composed of required valves. And the aqueous chloride solution storage tank, the anode chamber and the cathode Means for communicating with the chamber (hereinafter referred to as “communication means A3”) (usually composed of a pipe, a pump and a required valve. Note that this pipe branches for each point at any point after delivery of this pump. To provide)).
[0024]
The anolyte receiving means (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus A1-b”) includes an anolyte receiving container; and means for connecting the anode chamber and the receiving container (hereinafter referred to as “connecting means A4”) ( Normally, it is composed of piping and required valves, and this piping usually has a branch piping for discharging anolyte of unspecified quality at the start-up time of the electrolyzer and a switching valve for that purpose. It is mainly composed of: In the present invention, the anolyte is the main object. However, as described later, the catholyte may also be used in the electrolysis system. Therefore, the cathode having one end connected to the cathode chamber in the sense of completion of the actual device. It is also preferable to provide a catholyte discharge means (hereinafter referred to as “communication means A5”) comprising a pipe for liquid (further, if necessary).
[0025]
On the other hand, examples of means for supplying an alkaline compound to the anode chamber (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus A1-c”) include the following means.
(1) A storage tank for an aqueous alkaline compound solution; and means for connecting the storage tank for the aqueous alkaline compound solution and the anode chamber (hereinafter referred to as “contact means A6”) (usually composed of a pipe, a pump, and required valves). This piping may be a direct connection between the storage tank for the alkaline compound aqueous solution and the anode chamber, or any point in the piping of the communication means A1 or A3, provided that the delivery of the pump of the communication means (May be connected to an arbitrary point in the wake); (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus A1-c1”).
(2) Further, the device A1-c1 further includes communication means for circulating at least a part of the catholyte to the anode chamber (hereinafter referred to as “communication means A7”) (usually composed of piping, a pump, and required valves). The piping may be a direct connection between an arbitrary point of the piping of the communication means A5 and the anode chamber, or an arbitrary point of the piping of the communication means A1 or A3, provided that the delivery of the pump of the communication means (May be connected to an arbitrary point in the downstream)) (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus A1-c2”). When the apparatus A1-c2 is adopted as the apparatus A1-c, the cathode chamber and the connecting means A7 have a structure that does not form a gas phase in the anode chamber and the anolyte receiving container. It is important to keep what you have.
[0026]
On the other hand, the apparatus A of the present invention is configured such that the contact means of the communication means A1 or A3 of the apparatus A1 is only the cathode chamber, and in place of the apparatus A1-c, a storage tank for the acidic compound aqueous solution; Means for communicating with the cathode chamber (hereinafter referred to as “communication means A8”) (usually composed of a pipe, a pump, and a required valve. This pipe connects the storage tank for the acidic compound aqueous solution and the cathode chamber. It may be directly connected, or it may be connected to an arbitrary point of the piping of the communication means A1 or A3 whose contact address is only the cathode chamber, but to an arbitrary point in the downstream of the delivery of the pump of the communication means And a means for supplying an acidic compound to the cathode chamber (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus A2-c”); and further a communication means A7 (however, the piping is a communication means) Arbitrary piping for A5 And the anode chamber may be directly connected, that is, the anode chamber may be added to the anode chamber (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus A2”). . In the device A2, it is important to give the same consideration to the cathode chamber and the communication means A7 as when the device A1-c2 is adopted as the device A1-c in the device A1.
[0027]
Next, the apparatus A has a structure that does not form a gas phase therein, but it is watertight in the anode chamber (when the apparatus A1-c2 is adopted as the apparatus A1-c and in the case of the apparatus A2 also the cathode chamber). A container capable of maintaining the state (purpose: cut off contact with outside air and eliminate the possibility of forming a gas phase as much as possible); and one end of the communication means A1 or A3 at the anode chamber ( When the apparatus A1-c2 is used as the apparatus A1-c and in the case of the apparatus A2, the cathode chamber is also provided below, and one end of the piping of the communication means A4 is the anode chamber (apparatus A1-c2 as the apparatus A1-c2). And in the case of the device A2, the cathode chamber is also connected to the lower part (purpose: to suppress the generation of gas as much as possible); and a pipe whose other end is opened to the atmosphere via a check valve. Further provided, one end It is connected to an arbitrary point (arbitrary point upstream from the place where the switching valve is installed) of the pipe of the communication means A4 (purpose: mainly gas-liquid separation of generated gas-mainly oxygen gas-and anolyte). The other end is positioned higher than the arbitrary point, and when the device A1-c2 is used as the device A1-c and in the case of the device A2, the communication means A7 is provided with the same piping. Gas-liquid separation of the generated gas-mainly hydrogen gas-and the catholyte); and the anolyte receiving container is flexible so that its internal volume can be made close to zero and the anolyte is contained inside The volume is increased by receiving under water tightness, and then the volume is decreased by discharging the anolyte to the outside under water tightness, making the volume variable.
[0028]
In addition, the device A having a property capable of blocking ultraviolet rays in the apparatus A must be not affected by the anode water before having the ultraviolet ray blocking function, and therefore, vinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS. What is necessary is just to use what was formed using what was selected from the group of the plastics selected from the group of polymers; the plastics which reinforced these with the filler and the fibers;
[0029]
Furthermore, the present invention transfers electrolyzed water that stably contains high-concentration residual chlorine obtained by subjecting a chloride aqueous solution to diaphragm membrane electrolysis to the place of use without impairing its stability, and at the place of use, An apparatus for producing residual chlorine-containing water having an effective sterilizing ability against spore bacteria (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus B”); and at least the apparatus A1-b; A transfer means for receiving the anolyte from A1-b and transferring the anolyte to a point of use and discharging the anolyte at the point of use (hereinafter referred to as "device B1"); and the transferred anode A dilution means (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus B2”) for diluting the liquid to a predetermined concentration at the point of use and providing it to the user, and these means have a structure that does not generate a gas phase therein, and It is made of those having a structure and / or properties can block the external line is also characterized by the.

[0034]
Furthermore, the present invention is also composed of apparatus A and apparatus B.

The properties of the obtained anolyte were as shown in the table below. As shown in FIG. 4, it can be seen that the residual chlorine in the anolyte by alkaline addition electrolysis is extremely stable despite the higher residual chlorine concentration than in Test Example 2, and that the higher the pH, the better the stability (same as above). Fig. (3)-Alkaline addition amount: 30 ml / min.-And (4)-Alkaline addition amount: 80 ml / min.

[0051]
On the other hand, as is well-known, when diaphragm direct-current electrolysis is performed, according to the following formula (note that the water to be electrolyzed is a saline solution for the sake of simplicity), in the
Furthermore, the anode water is acidic due to the dissociation of hydrochloric acid and is oxidizable due to the presence of hypochlorous acid (in fact, in addition to the above substances, of course, unelectrolyzed saline is also included therein).
[0052]
On the other hand, cathodic water exhibits alkalinity due to the dissociation of caustic soda and is reducible due to the presence of hydrogen (in fact, in addition to the above substances, naturally, unelectrolyzed saline is also included therein). Therefore, Method A-1b (see FIG. 2) utilizes this cathode water as an alternative or complement to the alkaline compound.

The difference between this process and the previous process (Method A-1a) is

When this process is adopted, the reaction between the acid (hydrochloric acid as strong acid and hypochlorous acid as weak acid) and alkali (caustic soda as strong alkali) in the anode chamber is performed in a region close to neutrality. Therefore, the presence of hypochlorous acid works effectively, and the titration curve becomes gentle, so that there is an advantage that the control of pH adjustment is stabilized, and further, there is an advantage that the utilization rate of chloride as an electrolyzed substance is improved.
[0054]
The results of verification of the effect of this process are shown below.
Test example 4
Electrolysis was carried out in the same manner as in Test Example 2, except that a part of the catholyte obtained in Test Example 2, 0.5 ml / min., Was circulated in the anode chamber. The obtained anolyte had pH = 7.7, ORP = 1170 mV, and residual chlorine concentration = 400 ppm. As shown in FIG. 4, it can be seen that the residual chlorine in the anolyte in electrolysis by catholyte circulation is extremely stable despite the higher residual chlorine concentration than in Test Example 2 (see (5) in FIG. 4). The properties of the catholyte circulated to the anode chamber were pH = 12.0, ORP = −924 mV, and residual chlorine concentration = 5 ppm.
[0055]
The advantage of this process (Method A-1b), that is, the utilization of the catholyte is further advanced by Method A-1c (see FIG. 3).

The difference between this process and the previous process (Method A-1b) is

[0057]
The results of verification of the effect of this process are shown below.
Test Example 5
A line for circulating the entire amount of catholyte to the anode chamber was constructed, and 0.5 N hydrochloric acid solution was added to 1 l / min of electrolyzed water (3.5 g-NaCl / l) obtained by diluting saline with raw water. The mixture at a rate of 20 ml / min. Was introduced only into the cathode chamber of the above-mentioned apparatus, and electrolysis was performed while circulating the catholyte, which is an electrolysis product in the cathode chamber, in the anode chamber (current: 20 A, voltage: 6 .5V). The obtained anolyte had pH = 7.1 and residual chlorine concentration = 420 ppm. As shown in FIG. 4, the stability of residual chlorine in the anolyte was completely satisfactory (see (6) in the figure). When the hydrochloric acid solution was added, the pH of the anolyte was 9.2 (however, the electrolysis conditions were current: 20 A, voltage: 6.8 V).
[0058]
Next, a test was performed to make the residual chlorine concentration in the anolyte higher (objective: improvement in transfer efficiency to the use site). The procedure and results are shown below.
Test Example 6
To the electrolyzed water (5.3 g-NaCl / l) 1 l / min obtained by diluting the saline with raw water, 0.5N caustic soda solution was added at 40 ml / min. Each was introduced into the cathode chamber and electrolyzed (the process is Method A-1a. The electrolysis condition is constant current electrolysis with a current of 50 A). The obtained anolyte had a residual chlorine concentration of 1,050 ppm and a pH of 6.8. As shown in FIG. 4, there was no problem in the stability of the residual chlorine (see (7) in the figure). Further, in order to increase the residual chlorine concentration, the amount of the alkali-added electrolyzed water to be fed into the electrolyzer is halved, whereby an anolyte having a residual chlorine concentration of 2,000 ppm and a pH of 6.9 is obtained. It was. As shown in FIG. 4, there was no problem with the stability of the residual chlorine even at such a high concentration (see (8) in the same figure).
[0059]
By the way, the method (Method A) of the present invention aims to obtain electrolyzed water containing stable and high concentration residual chlorine. The following tests were conducted to confirm the methodology.
[0060]
Test Example 7
First, the effect of ultraviolet rays was examined. An anolyte having a pH of 6.5 and a residual chlorine concentration of 1,100 ppm prepared by the method described above was put in a beaker, and sealed, and irradiated with ultraviolet rays from a mercury lamp of 400 w from 30 cm above the water surface. The results are shown in FIG. It can be seen that ultraviolet rays have a great influence on the stability of residual chlorine.
[0061]
Test Example 8
Next, the influence of the presence of the gas phase was examined. This is because the stability of residual chlorine is important in terms of ensuring the safety of users of the electrolyzed water produced in the present invention (in addition, on the surface of the electrolyzed water obtained in Test Example 6). The concentration of chlorine gas in the gas phase is 5 ppm, and even this level is dangerous if humans inhale it-the gas concentration is 1 ppm or less in safety standards-). The anolyte obtained in Test Example 6 was collected in a brown bottle, the volume ratio of the gas phase on the water surface (the ratio of the gas phase volume to the total volume) was changed, and the time course of the residual chlorine in the anolyte was changed. Observed. The result is shown in FIG. It can be seen that the decrease in the residual chlorine concentration is remarkable with the increase in the gas phase volume ratio.
[0062]
From these results, in the present invention (both method A and method B), at least the anode chamber (also the cathode chamber if necessary) is operated in a full liquid state and the ultraviolet ray is blocked. Fill the anolyte to be discharged into a receiving vessel that can prevent air flow and transmission of ultraviolet rays in the absence of a gas phase and with ultraviolet rays blocked (the catholyte that is discharged from the cathode chamber as needed). The same consideration is necessary in the circulation to the anode chamber), and also in the filling of the anolyte from the receiving container to the transfer container and the discharge from the transfer container at the point of use. It is a requirement that the same considerations should be taken as in filling. Incidentally, the above-described Test Examples 1 to 6 were all carried out in the absence of the gas phase and in the state where the ultraviolet rays were blocked in view of these confirmation facts.
[0063]
A specific example of these considerations is shown in FIG. 7 (the case where the method A-1c is applied is the most widely considered, and in this figure, the system is configured based on this case. Regarding the considerations related to UV blocking, it is necessary to use ordinary materials such as plastics such as vinyl chloride or metal materials using plastics that have corrosion resistance against chlorine and can be lined as lining materials. In this figure, the aqueous chloride solution and acidic compound are supplied to the

1) Consideration of receiving container structure
“It has the flexibility to make its internal volume close to zero, and its volume is increased by receiving the anolyte in the watertight state inside it, and then the volume is reduced by discharging the anolyte to the outside under the watertight state. A bag-like container 35 made of plastic, for example, polyethylene and nylon is used as a material satisfying the requirement of “reducing, variable volume”. Here, the container has a mouth for receiving the anolyte therein, which can be connected to the

The following procedure should be followed.

The results of verifying the safety and effectiveness of anode water diluted to a predetermined concentration at this use location are shown below.
Test Example 9
Anode water obtained in the same manner as in Test Example 6 except that the amount of caustic soda added in Test Example 6 was changed was diluted 40 times with the city water. After 200 ml of each diluted sample was placed in a 300 ml Erlenmeyer flask and allowed to stand for 10 minutes, the chlorine gas concentration in the gas phase space above the flask was measured with a gas detector (manufactured by Gastec, detector tubes: 8HH, 8H). Measured. As shown in the table below, the chlorine gas concentration in the gas phase space in contact with the anode water after dilution is well below the safety standard of 1 ppm, indicating that the pH of the sample before dilution is extremely safe. The chlorine gas concentration in the gas phase space in contact with the anode water of the 2.9 itself was> 100 ppm, and in fact, it emitted a strong chlorine odor, while the pH of the sample before dilution was 6.9. The pH after dilution is 7.0, which is almost unchanged).

Test Example 10
High-concentration residual chlorine-containing water is produced at a test plant that is a scale-up of the above-mentioned test equipment, and qualitative changes with time are verified with pH and residual chlorine concentration, and a predetermined period (six weeks after production) has elapsed. Each subsequent sample was diluted with the tap water to a predetermined chlorine concentration, and the sterilization effect was verified.

2. Verification of stability
Each sample produced in the above manner was cut off from gas-liquid contact and allowed to stand for a predetermined period under light shielding. As a result, as shown in the following table, although the pH decreased, no change was observed in the residual chlorine concentration, and it was confirmed that the residual chlorine-containing water produced by the method of the present invention was extremely stable.

3. Verification of bactericidal effect
Each sample produced in the above manner was diluted with a predetermined concentration with the tap water after 6 weeks, and the bactericidal effect was verified in the following manner.
(1) Sterilization target: Aerobic spore-producing bacteria (spore bacteria)
(2) Bacteria preparation: Commercially available granular black pepper was ground using a tabletop pepper grinder, and 100 ml of sterilized physiological saline was added to 20 g thereof. This solution has a viable count of 106 The sample solution was prepared by adjusting the dilution so that it was contained in the order of pieces / ml.
(3) 0.1 ml of the above sample solution and 10 ml of each of the above samples were mixed and kept at 25 ° C. for 10 minutes, and then the number of bacteria in the mixed solution was measured by a plate pour culture method.
As shown in the table below, the result was that the number of remaining bacteria could be “zero” if it contained at least 40 ppm of residual chlorine.
